  • In this paper, Power Flow Analysis (PFA) method has been applied to the prediction of vibration energy density and intensity of coupled shell structures in the medium-to-high frequency ranges. To consider the wave transformation at joint between shell elements, power transmission and reflection coefficients are investigated for various joint angles, and here Donnell-Mushtari thin shell theory has been used. Evaluations of AI-based malicious PowerShell detection with feature optimizations

  • Cyberattacks are often difficult to identify with traditional signature-based detection, because attackers continually find ways to bypass the detection methods. Therefore, researchers have introduced artificial intelligence (AI) technology for cybersecurity analysis to detect malicious PowerShell scripts. In this paper, we propose a feature optimization technique for AI-based approaches to enhance the accuracy of malicious PowerShell script detection. We statically analyze the PowerShell script and preprocess it with a method based on the tokens and abstract syntax tree (AST) for feature selection. Here, tokens and AST represent the vocabulary and structure of the PowerShell script, respectively. Performance evaluations with optimized features yield detection rates of 98% in both machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) experiments. Among them, the ML model with the 3-gram of selected five tokens and the DL model with experiments based on the AST 3-gram deliver the best performance.

  • In this paper, Power Flow Analysis(PFA) method has been applied to the prediction of vibration energy density and intensity of coupled shell structures in the medium-to-high frequency ranges. To consider the wave transformation at joint between shell elements, power transmission and reflection coefficients are investigated for various joint angles, and here Donnell-Mushtari thin shell theory has been used. For validations computations are performed to analyze the response of coupled shells by changing the excitation frequency and damping loss factor.

  • The power input to an infinite cylindrical shell excited by a point force is investigated. The circumferential direction and axial direction of the cylindrical shell is assumed as a two-dimensional unbounded medium, and the point force is replaced as a periodic array of imaginary sources. The spatial Fourier transform is taken from the equation of motion of the cylindrical shell, which is derived from the static model of Donell-Mushtari-Vlasov. The inverse Fourier transform is taken to derive the vibration responses. Mobility from out-of-plane forces and in-plane forces are derived from the obtained vibration responses. The theory is applied to a cylindrical shell excited by a normal direction of point force.

  • Feedwater Heaters are important components in a nuclear power plant. As the age of heater increases, the maintenance cost required for continuous operation also increases. Most heaters have the carbon steel shells, tube support plates and flow baffles. The carbon steel is susceptible to flow-accelerated corrosion. This is especially true if the flow has a two-phase mixture of steam and condensate. The wall thinning around the wet steam entrance area of the shell is inevitable during some long term operation. The structural integrity of the feedwater heater shell affects the safe operation of the nuclear power plant. Therefore, it is needed for the thinned shell to be repaired. The maintenance method for preventing failure of the shell should be determined by investigating various factors including the stress distribution of thinned area. The stress analysis of the shell including the steam entrance region is studied in this paper. The results of thinned shell is compared with that of intact shell.

명령 실행 모니터링과 딥 러닝을 이용한 파워셸 기반 악성코드 탐지 방법 (PowerShell-based Malware Detection Method Using Command Execution Monitoring and Deep Learning)

  • 파워셸은 닷넷 프레임워크를 기반에 둔, 커맨드 라인 셸이자 스크립트 언어로, 그 자체가 가진 다양한 기능 외에도 윈도우 운영체제 기본 탑재, 코드 은닉 및 지속의 수월함, 다양한 모의 침투 프레임워크 등 공격 도구로서 여러 이점을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 파워셸을 이용하는 악성코드가 급증하고 있으나 기존의 악성코드 탐지 기법으로 대응하기에는 한계가 존재한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 파워셸에서 실행되는 명령들을 관찰할 수 있는 개선된 모니터링 기법과, Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)을 이용해 명령에서 특징을 추출하고 실행 순서에 따라 Recurrent Neural Network(RNN)에 전달하여 악성 여부를 판단하는 딥 러닝 기반의 분류 모델을 제안한다. 악성코드 공유 사이트에서 수집한 파워셸 기반 악성코드 1,916개와 난독화 탐지 연구에서 공개한 정상 스크립트 38,148개를 이용하여 제안한 모델을 5-fold 교차 검증으로 테스트한 결과, 약 97%의 True Positive Rate(TPR)와 1%의 False Positive Rate(FPR)로 모델이 악성코드를 효과적으로 탐지함을 보인다.

  • This study is experimentally performed for using the oyster shell as a desiccant in the fluidized bed with bundle of heating pipe. The test material is oyster shell from fishery wastes which can use without costs. The main parameters of experiment are inlet air temperature, velocity of inlet air and heat flux of heating pipes. Also the geometry of heating pipe is treated as important parameter. From this study, the effect of inlet air temperature and input heat flux have much affect to increase the heat and mass transfer. On the other hand, the effect of inlet air velocity has less affect to increase the heat and mass transfer. And it is clarified that the oyster shell has sufficient probability for using as a desiccant in air-conditioning system.

  • Single phase heat transfer coefficients were measured for turbulent water flow in a plate & shell heat exchangers by using Wilson plot method. An experiment for counterflow heat exchange between the plate and shell was performed. The shell side heat transfer resistance was varied and the overall heat transfer coefficients were measured. The single-phase heat transfer coefficients in a plate side were obtained by Wilson plot method. Single-phase heat transfer correlations based on projected heat transfer area have been proposed for a plate & shell heat exchanger.

  • The present work aims to determine the overall pressure losses in the shell from the point of entry of the fluid to the outlet point of fluid of shell and tube heat exchanger. The main contribution of the present work is concerned with calculating the pressure drop in the interior section and window section. Shell-side flow velocity distributions have been evaluated. We assume that the shell-side fluid is turbulent. The calculation procedure is based upon the Delaware method. Evaluation of pressure drop on the shell side will be helpful for a designer or manufacturer of a heat exchanger.

다관 원통식 오일 냉각기의 다양한 파라미터에 따른 스트레스 고찰 (Investigation of Stresses Due to Various Parameters of Shell and Tube Oil Cooler)

  • The present work aims to estimate channel, shell, tube and tube sheet stresses of shell and tube oil cooler stemmed from various parameters. These parameters involve size, thickness and dimension of shell and tube oil cooler, including fluid temperature. The main purpose of the present work is to ensure safety of design products and also develop new products rapidly. For stress evaluation of oil coolers, first of all, the maximum pressure on the shell-side and on the tube side is fixed with 3.1MPa and 1.5MPa, respectively. Secondly, the pressure on each side varies from 2MPa to 3.1MPa on the shell side and tram 0.6MPa to 2MPa on the tube side. Various parameters under these conditions are employed to estimate design stresses on each side of oil cooler. These basic information related to stresses will be useful for a designer or manufacturer of an oil cooler.
