데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 주상변압기 고장유형 분석 및 복구 예측모델 구축에 관한 연구 (Fault Pattern Analysis and Restoration Prediction Model Construction of Pole Transformer Using Data Mining Technique)

  • It is essential for electric power companies to have a quick restoration system of the faulted pole transformers which occupy most of transformers to supply stable electricity. However, it takes too much time to restore it when a transformer is out of order suddenly because we now count on operator in investigating causes of failure and making decision of recovery methods. This paper presents the concept of 'Fault pattern analysis and Restoration prediction model using Data mining techniques’, which is based on accumulated fault record of pole transformers in the past. For this, it also suggests external and internal causes of fault which influence the fault pattern of pole transformers. It is expected that we can reduce not only defects in manufacturing procedure by upgrading quality but also the time of predicting fault patterns and recovering when faults occur by using the result.

  • Economical consumption of energy, longer life of lamps, higher lighting comfort and new aesthetic of illumination is subject of numerous research and development works. The halogen lamps are an example of positive solution some of above mentioned problems. The electronic transformers are more frequent used for their supply. In comparison with conventional transformers they have less weight, less volume and 60% less power tosses. Their advantages are particular visible, when the hybrid technique is applied. The paper presents the results of engineering research and development works carried out ill Private Institute of Electronic Engineering, in R. & D. Center for Hybrid Microelectronics and Resistors and in Technical School of Communications in Krakow, in the field of the design and exploitation tests of hybrid converters 220V AC /12V DC (electronic transformers) and electronic ballasts destined for the supply of halogen lamps 20W to 150W and fluorescent lamps respectively. To perform the converters, thick film technology and surface mount technology were used. For the protection of converter electronic circuit the thick film temperature sensor and transistors were applied. Moreover the paper presents the base application circuits of elaborated converters, their technical parameters and exploitation results. The development perspectives of hybrid domain of hybrid circuits are also discussed.

  • 비선형 부하의 증가는 변압기에 고조파 전류를 증가시키는 요인이 되고 있다. 변압기에 고조파 전류가 유입되면 손실이 증가되고, 변압기 출력이 감소되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 고조파를 고려한 부하의 변압기 용량 산정법을 제시하고, 직렬리액터가 연결된 커패시터 뱅크와 고조파 필터의 적용으로 변압기 출력을 증가시킬 수 있음을 검증하였다. 사례연구의 시뮬레이션은 EDSA 프로그램을 사용하였다.

변압기 지역 코로나 전자파 간섭에 의한 계측제어설비 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of I&C Systems by EMI Generating from Corona Discharge at Transformer Area)

  • The Electromagnetic Interference(EMI) generating from corona discharge of transformer area can interference the digital Instrument and Control(I&C) systems located nearby transformers. When the potential gradient of the electric field around the conductor is high enough to form a conductive region but not high enough to cause electrical breakdown to nearby objects, the EMI of corona discharge emits with the conducted and radiated noise and it interferences the signals of the I&C systems. Since digital I&C systems have an efficiency and competitive price, the analog I&C systems have been upgraded and displaced with the digital I&C systems but which have less EMI Immunity. There was no assessment to I&C systems by EMI generating corona discharge nearby transformers. When the safety-related I&C systems are installed in plants, the verification of equipment EMI should be done not in site-specific test but in test facilities. There are the need to do the site-specific EMI evaluation of corona discharge nearby transformers. This paper assesses the margin between plant emission limits and the highest composite plant emission of corona. When the non safety-related I&C systems are placed in transformer area, it suggests the appropriate radiated susceptibility level to EMI of corona discharge.

저항기를 이용한 계기용 변성기 부담 자동 평가 장치 개발 (Development of Automatic Evaluation Equipment for Burden of Instrument Transformer using Resistor Simulator)

  • The error of instrument transformers is measured by connecting the external burden with the secondary terminal of the instrument transformers. Because the error of transformer is affected by the apparent power and power factor of the external burden, an accurate measurement of burden is important for transformer evaluation. We have developed the burden evaluation equipment for both potential transformer and current transformer by employing the series resistor in the range of $20m{\Omega}{\sim}5{\Omega}$ and the parallel resistor in the range of $1M{\Omega}{\sim}500{\Omega}$, respectively, together with visual basic program. We could reduce testing time more than 5 times by employing method developed in this study, compared with that developed in past. This method shows more better reliability by analyzing the evaluation results and fitting graphs of burden measurements. The test results of the developed system is compared with those obtained in the power meter analyzer to verify the validity.

  • In order to looking for method of detecting inner fault of a 154kV GIT(Gas Insulated Transformer), it was considered that diagnosis partial discharge(PD) in UHF band and that analyze the ingredients of SF6 insulating gas. UHF PD diagnosis that is optimized to GIS was considered unsuitable through checking of inner part of a transformers which PD is detected excessively. The method analyzing the content of six kinds of gas(SOF2, SO2F2, etc)was decided through analysis of chemical degradation and combination process and discharge experiment. With the result applying this method to analyze the content of insulated gas of eighty five Gas Insulated Transformers.

  • 도심에서 배전선로는 지중과 가공 선로의 구성, 연가, 건물과 나무로 인한 시야 방해로 추적하기가 어렵다. 이러한 3상 4선식 배전계통에서 특정 수용가가 어떤 변압기 또는 어떤 배전선로로부터 공급되는지를 결정하는 것이 현장의 전기 기술자에게 어려운 문제다. 배전선로의 부하 평형등을 위해 선로의 정확한 추적기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 소전력 고주파 신호를 사용하는 전력선 통신을 활용한 식별 방법을 제안한다. 배전선로에 고주파 전력 신호를 주입하여 분석 한 결과 고주파 신호는 배전선 및 변압기에서 전달을 억제하게 된다. 이러한 제안된 전송제한 방법을 사용하여 변압기도 식별하고 배전선로도 식별하고자 한다. 배전계통에서 전력선 통신 신호의 전달 특성을 분석하기 위한 변압기, 3상 선로, 부하 등에 대한 시뮬레이션 해석 모델을 기술한다. 그리고 시스템은 전력선 통신 모듈을 바탕으로 송수신기로 구성된다. 이론적 개념을 검증하기 위해서 일반 상업용 건물에서 실험이 행하여진다. 또한 MATLAB 시뮬링크를 사용하여 개념에 대한 이해를 위한 시뮬레이션이 수행된다.

  • This paper describes experimental analysis of UPQC, which is composed of cascaded H-bridges and single-phase multi-winding transformers. The operational characteristic was analyzed through experimental works with a scaled model, and simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC. The UPQC proposed in this paper can be directly connected to the distribution line without series injection transformers. It has flexibility to expand the operation voltage by increasing the number of H-bridge modules. The analysis results can be utilized to design the actual UPQC system applicable for the actual distribution system.

  • Ground differential relay is used to provide fast, sensitive, and selective protection for the wye connected and grounded electrical power equipment such as generators, power transformers, and grounding transformers. The ground differential protection only protects the ground faults within the protection zone, so that it can't protect the line-to-line fault. This paper proposes the algorithm to provide the protection for the line-to-line fault through the ground differential protection. The proposed algorithm detects the line-to-line fault of transformer using the comparison between the positive and the negative current, when the ground differential relay dose not operate. The performance of the algorithm is verified using a PSCAD/EMTDC simulator under various case studies.
