  • In this paper, algorithm for increment of ATC is proposed. ATC of the power transfer system is determined by the smallest ATC among transmission lines' in the power transfer system. So power flow of that transmission line shall be decreased to increase ATC, using the redistribution of each generation power with liner programing method. By the studying example case, $10\sim20%$ increment of ATC is confirmed in the power transfer system.

MERIE형 반응로를 이용한 AlSi의 식각 특성 (Properties of AlSi etching using the MERIE type reactor)

  • The AlSi etching process using the MERIE type reactor carried out with different process parameters such as C1$_{2}$ and N$_{2}$ gas flow rate, RF power and chamber pressure. The etching characteristics were evaluated in terms of etch rate, selectivity, uniformity and etched profile. As the N2 gas flow rate is increased, the AlSi etch rate is decreased and uniformity has remained constant within .+-.5%. The etch rate is increased and uniformity is decreased, according to increment of the C1$_{2}$ gas flow rate, RF power and chamber pressure. Selective etching of TEOS with respect to AlSi is decreased as the RF power is increased while it is increased by increment of the C1$_{2}$ gas flow rate and chamber pressure, on the other hand, selective etching of photoresist with respect to AlSi is increased by increment of the C1$_{2}$ gas flow rate and chamber pressure, it is decreased as the N$_{2}$ gas flow rate is increased.

크로스실린더를 이용한 난시정밀검사에서 검사 전 최소착란원 위치에 따른 난시교정값의 변화 (Changes of Corrective Astigmatism Values Depending on Position of Circle of Least Confusion in Astigmatic Refining Test Using Cross Cylinder)

  • 목적: 크로스실린더를 이용한 난시정밀검사에서 망막 상의 최소착란원 위치가 난시교정값에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 평균나이 $22.24{\pm}2.48$세의 62명(115안)을 대상으로 검사하였다. 방사선시표를 이용한 난시검사 후 최대교정시력이 얻어진 구면굴절력(MPMVA) 상태에서 크로스실린더를 이용한 정밀검사를 실시하였다. 그런 다음 S+0.75 D, S+0.50 D, S+0.25 D, S-0.25 D, S-0.50 D, 그리고 S-0.75 D의 렌즈를 각각 더한 상태(최소착락원의 위치이동)에서 동일한 정밀검사를 실시하고, 얻어진 검사값을 MPMVA 상태에서 얻어진 검사값과 비교하였다. 결과: MPMVA 상태의 검사값과 비교하여 더해준 (+)구면렌즈와 (-)구면렌즈가 증가할수록 축 변화량은 증가하였다. 동일한 검사상태에서 난시굴절력이 높을수록 축 변화량은 감소하였다(p<0.05). MPMVA 상태의 검사값과 비교하여 더해준 (+)구면렌즈가 증가할수록 난시굴절력은 낮게 나타났고(p<0.05), (-)구면렌즈가 증가할수록 높게 나타났다. (+)구면렌즈를 더해준 경우, 동일한 검사상태에서 난시굴절력이 높을수록 검사값의 차이는 더 크게 나타났다. 결론: 올바른 난시교정값을 얻기 위해서 크로스실린더를 이용한 난시정밀검사 전 최소착락원 위치를 정확히 조정하여야 한다.

Computer simulation for dynamic wheel loads of heavy vehicles

  • The characteristics of dynamic wheel loads of heavy vehicles running on bridge and rigid surface are investigated by using three-dimensional analytical model. The simulated dynamic wheel loads of vehicles are compared with the experimental results carried out by Road-Vehicles Research Institute of Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) to verify the validity of the analytical model. Also another comparison of the analytical result with the experimental one for Umeda Entrance Bridge of Hanshin Expressway in Osaka, Japan, is presented in this study. The agreement between the analytical and experimental results is satisfactory and encouraging the use of the analytical model in practice. Parametric study shows that the dynamic increment factor (DIF) of the bridge and RMS values of dynamic wheel loads are fluctuated according to vehicle speeds and vehicle types as well as roadway roughness conditions. Moreover, there exist strong dominant frequency resemblance between bounce motion of vehicle and bridge response as well as those relations between RMS values of dynamic wheel loads and dynamic increment factor (DIF) of bridges.

발전기 고정자 권선의 새로운 절연열화 판정기준 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the New Criteria for Assessing the Insulation Deterioration of Generator Stator Winding)

  • This paper describes the relationship between the various non-destructive parameters and the breakdown voltage for the 17 kV, 300 MVA and the 22 kV, 500 MVA generators stator bars with polyester and epoxy/mica insulation respectively. Also, this study reports the results of an investigation into the factors which can assess the insulation condition of generator stator winding. Furthermore, a new parameter, Partial Discharge Index(PDI), is introduced as the valuable parameter for the assessment of insulation condition. The ratio between partial discharge increment and the stepwise voltage increment from the Discharge Inception Voltage (DIV) at the characteristic or resonant frequency band shows the close relationship between the breakdown voltage and PDI.

Optimization of Energy Conversion Loop in Switched Reluctance Motor for Efficiency Improvement

  • This paper presents an effective method to improve efficiency of switched reluctance motor by optimizing energy conversion loop. A nonlinear analytical model which takes saturation account is developed to calculate inductance and flux-linkage. The flux-linkage curve is studied to calculate the co-energy increment to obtain the optimum exciting current. For a given cross-section, the exciting current at which co-energy increment is maximum was found to be constant while stack length varies. Then the energy conversion loop was optimized by varying the stack length and turns of windings. The constraints during optimization were that motor was excited by the maximum increment co-energy current and the energy in the loop was determined by rated power of motor. Dynamic finite element analysis was used to evaluate the efficiency of various models and the comparison of results shows promising effects of the proposed method. Experiment was also conducted to validate the simulation result.

  • Recently, technical trend for machine tools is focused on enhancement of speed and accuracy. High speedy processing causes thermal and structural deformation of objects from the machine tools. Water cooler has to be applied to machine tools to reduce the thermal negative influence with accurate temperature controlling system. Existing On-Off control type can't control temperature accurately because compressor is operated and stopped repeatedly and causes increment of power consumption and decrement of the expected life of compressor. The goal of this study is to minimize temperature error in steady state. In addition, control period of an electronic expansion valve were considered to increment of lifetime of the machine tools and quality of product with a water cooler. PI controller is designed using type of hot-gas bypass for precise control of temperature. Gain of PI is decided easily by method of critical oscillation response, excellent performance of control is shown with 4.24% overshoot and ${\pm}0.2^{\circ}C$error of steady state. Also, error range of temperature is controlled within $0.2^{\circ}C$although disturbance occurs.

배터리 잔량과 태스크에 따른 저전력 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on Low Power Algorithm for Battery residual capacity and a Task)

  • In this paper, we proposed low power algorithm for battery residual capacity and a task. Algorithm the mobile devices power of the battery residual capacity for the task to perform power consumption to reduce the frequency alters. Task is different in power consumption according to kinds of in time accomplishment device to use. Adjustment of power consumption analyzes kinds of given tasks from having the minimum power consumption task to having the maximum power consumption task. Control frequency so that power consumption waste to be exposed to battery residual capacity can be happened according to the results analyzed. Experiment the frequency by adjusting power consumption a method to reduce using [7] and in the same environment power of the battery residual capacity consider the task to perform frequency were controlled. Efficiency was proved compare with the experiment results [7]. The experiments results show increment in the number of processing by 45.46% comparing with that [7] algorithm.
