The main purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction of online classes of undergraduates who have experienced sudden online classes in college because of COVID-19, and to analyze the differences of the satisfaction of online classes depending on colleges. The participants were 1,380 college students. Descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Post-hoc Scheffé were performed. Undergraduates were highly satisfied with online classes in cultural subjects and major subjects, whereas they showed low satisfaction with appropriateness of the assignment. There were statistically significant differences in online class satisfaction between colleges. Students at the College of Education were highly satisfied with online classes satisfaction, while engineering students were less satisfied with online classes satisfaction. There were statistically significant differences in students engagements between colleges. Regardless of colleges, students displayed low satisfaction in e-class server and teaching and learning infrastructure. These findings suggest that we need to provide autonomous support and make an effective online learning environment such as server expansion and e-class improvement to enhance undergraduates' self-directed learning. We also should come up with effective online classes guidelines.

This study was conducted to provide basic data for prevention of osteoporosis by examining the factors affecting bone mineral density in pregnant mothers. This investigation was a descriptive research study that analyzed a total of 137 medical records. Differences in T-score between general and obstetric characteristics were assessed by independent t-tests and one way ANOVA followed by Scheffe's post-hoc test. The mean age of the subjects was 32.4 years and the mean T-score was 0.34. The BMI measured at 4 weeks after delivery was significantly higher in the underweight group than in the normal group and the overweight group (F=11.935, p<.001). The BMD was significantly higher in subjects with sufficient vitamin D than in subjects with insufficient vitamin D, in subjects with insufficient vitamin D than in subjects with deficiency vitamin D (F=4.906, P=0.009). BMD was significantly higher in cases without experience of abortion than those with more than one experience of abortion (t=4.264, p<.001), and the normal delivery was significantly higher than that of cesarean section (t= 2.019, p=.046). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to actively prevent the factors affecting BMD during pregnancy and delivery. The findings presented herein can be used as basic data for the management of osteoporosis.

Emotional labor is the process of regulating feelings or emotions and expressing them in the way that fulfill job requirement. There have been many studies about characteristics or related variables of service workers' emotional labor, but are few studies comparing emotional labor between service workers and non-service workers. Therefore we are to examine the differences of emotional labor among the different types of workers. And as depression and lowered quality of life are well known negative consequences of emotional labor, we also intend to study the relationship between depression, quality of life, and emotional labor. Data were collected from 125 sales workers, and 186 cyber university full time students. And as to assure the student participants to be non-service workers, we limited the participant job as administrator, soldier or housewife. To compare differences of groups, one-way ANOVA was performed with Fisher's LSD as post hoc comparison. On overload in customer reception, service workers showed significantly higher scores, and on demand of emotional regulation/emotional dissonance/depression, both service workers and housewives showed significantly higher scores. Also analysis of multiple regression was performed, and the result showed that, emotional dissonance increased depression but decreased quality of life, while support/care increased quality of life, but decreased depression. With the result, implications and limitations of this study were discussed.

This study was conducted to examine the effects of awareness of infection control, career decision making self efficacy and critical thinking disposition on the performance of infection control among nursing students. The study subjects were 404 third and fourth year nursing students at 4 colleges in D and K cities. The data were collected from November 5 to December 21, 2018 by using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS WIN 17.0 program to conduct descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc Duncan's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The average score of awareness of infection control was 4.75 points, career decision making self efficacy was 3.02 points, critical thinking disposition was 4.73 points and performance of infection control was 4.46 points. Performance of infection control was positively influenced by age, awareness of infection control and career decision making self efficacy. The explanatory power of the model was 38.6%. Therefore, these results imply the need to develop an education program to improve the awareness of infection control and career decision making self efficacy, which will enhance the performance of infection control of nursing students.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing the clinical nurse's self-leadership and self-efficacy on job involvement. The survey was conducted from October 20 to December 15, 2017 for 205 nurses working at hospitals located in D city and K province of Korea. Analysis was performed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, Scheffe's post-hoc test, Pearson correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results of the study were as follows. Average score for self-leadership was 3.58, for self-efficacy was 3.56, and for job involvement was 3.36. This study showed positive correlations between self-leadership, self-efficacy and job involvement. Self-leadership, marital status, self-efficacy, and job position were significant influences on job involvement. The explanatory power of influence factors was 43.7%. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary for nursing organizations and hospitals to actively support programs that enhance self-leadership and self-efficacy, which will be used to increase nurses' job involvement and improve productivity and efficiency of nursing work.
The purpose of this study was to compare the function, activity, and participation and quality of life of cerebral palsy, Down syndrome children and typically developing children. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health for Children and Youth (ICF-CY) Checklist, and KIDSCREEN 52-HRQOL questionnaire were used to measure children function, activity and participation and quality of life. The results showed significant differences in functions (except for genitourinary and reproductive functions), activities and participation of ICF-CY were significantly different in all items. In the post-hoc analysis, showed high activity and participation in order of typically developing children, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome children (except for mobility). The quality of life were significantly different in all items (except for bullying), children with cerebral palsy and Down syndrome showed lower quality of life than typically developing children. The results showed that there were a significant difference in activity and participation, and quality of life among the three groups, and higher function, activity and participation, and quality of life in order of typically developing children, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome children.
Background/Aims: The objective of this study was to determine the efficacy and safety of add-on therapy with certolizumab pegol (CZP) in active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients of a single ethnicity. Methods: In this 24-week, phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, eligible patients (n = 127) were randomized 2:1 to subcutaneous CZP + methotrexate (MTX; 400 mg at week 0, 2, and 4 followed by 200 mg every 2 weeks) or placebo + MTX. Results: At week 24, the American College of Rheumatology criteria for 20% (ACR20) response rate was significantly greater with CZP + MTX than with placebo (66.7% vs. 27.5%, p < 0.001). Differences in ACR20 response rates for CZP vs. placebo were significant from week 1 (p < 0.05) and remained significant through week 24. The CZP group reported significant improvement in physical function and disability compared to the placebo group (p < 0.001) at week 24, as assessed by Korean Health Assessment Questionnaire-Disability Index (KHAQ-DI). Post hoc analysis indicated that the proportion of patients who had ACR70 responses, Disease Activity Score 28 (DAS28) low disease activity, and DAS28 remission at week 24 was greater in CZP + MTX-treated patients who achieved a decrease in DAS28 ${\geq}1.2$ (43.8%) at week 4 than in nonresponders. Among 18 (22.2%) and 14 patients (35.0%) in CZP and placebo groups who had latent tuberculosis (TB), none developed active TB. Most adverse events were mild or moderate. Conclusions: CZP treatment combined with MTX in active RA patients with moderate to severe disease activity and an inadequate response to MTX resulted in rapid onset of efficacy, which is associated with better clinical outcome at week 24 and has an acceptable safety profile, especially in an intermediate TB-burden population.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine effects of adjunctive aripiprazole versus bupropion, on depressive symptoms of female depression. Methods : Sixty six female patients with major depressive disorders were enrolled from a six-week, randomized prospective open-label multi-center study. Participants were randomized to receive aripiprazole (2.5-10 mg/day) or bupropion (150-300 mg/day). Montgomery Asberg Depression Rating Scale, 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating scale (HAM-D17), Iowa Fatigue Scale, Drug-Induced Extrapyramidal Symptoms Scale, Psychotropic-Related Sexual Dysfunction Questionnaire scores, and Clinical Global Impression-Severity (CGI-S) were obtained at baseline and after one, two, four, and six weeks. Changes on individual items of HAM-D17 were assessed as well as on composite scales (anxiety, insomnia and drive), and on four core subscales that capture core depression symptoms. Results : Overall, both treatments improved depressive symptoms, without causing serious adverse events. There were significant differences in the HAM-D17 total score (p=0.046) and CGI-S (p=0.004), between aripiprazole and bupropion augmentation, favoring aripiprazole over bupropion. Aripiprazole revealed significantly greater effect size in depressed mood (p=0.006), retardation (p=0.005), anxiety psychic (p=0.032), and general somatic symptom (p=0.01). Conclusion : While both treatments were effective, results of this study suggested that aripiprazole may be preferable, in treating general and core symptoms of female depression.

This study examined whether there are differences in the empathic ability and emotional intelligence by college students' counseling course-taking experience and major. The research subjects were 313 college students, and an independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan post-hoc test were conducted for hypothesis testing. A difference in empathic ability was observed according to the students' sex, major, and counseling course-taking experience. A difference in emotional intelligence according to their sex and counseling course-taking experience was noted. Empathic ability was higher in females than in males, higher in the school of social sciences than in the school of science and technology, and higher in those who had counseling education than in those who did not. Emotional intelligence was higher in women than in men, and higher in students who had counseling education than in those who did not. Consequently, the effectiveness of counseling education was confirmed. On the other hand, a limitation of theoretical education was found in that there was no difference in emotional intelligence according to the major. Although empathic ability can be improved by education, the current curriculum has not improved it. This study has significance that it emphasizes the need for supplementing the curriculum, like practice or utilizing art media.

This study investigated the interaction between phonological phrase boundary and word frequency variable in Korean speech processing. A word monitoring task was performed to examine the interference caused by the frequency effect of target word depending on whether a phonological phrase is formed within the target word. Frequency of target word (high vs low) and phonological phrase boundary (within target word vs between target words) were applied as between and within subject condition respectively. Our results showed the significant main effect of the phonological phrase boundary and the significant interaction. In the post-hoc analysis, the high-frequency target words were detected significantly faster than the low-frequency target words only in the within phonological phrase boundary condition. Frequency effect in the between phonological phrase boundary condition did not appear. The results indicated that the phonological phrase boundary and word frequency variable played an important role in Korean speech processing. In particular, we discussed the possibility of processing the word frequency at the very early sensory information processing stage based on the interaction of two experimental factors.
