Purpose: The objective of this study was to explore operational definitions and moderators of the resilience of adult children of alcoholics (ACOA) and its associated variables. Methods: This integrative review was conducted based on a literature review method suggested by Whittemore and Knafl. Databases including PubMed, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and RISS were searched using the combinations of search terms such as; 'adult children of alcoholics,' 'parental alcoholism,' 'resilience,' and 'children of alcoholics.' Results: Seventeen studies were selected for this review. Findings of integrative reviews reported operational definitions for the resilience of ACOA and moderators. The operational definition of ACOA's resilience is: (1) having no behavioral and emotional problem, (2) meeting social and developmental expectancies, (3) having the ability to cope with adversity, (4) having high self-concept, and (5) having a meaningful relationship. In addition, the varying environmental moderators include family communication, qualities of caring environment, parental communication, parentification, and social support. Several moderators were identified as positive effect, self-esteem, alcohol-specific coping style, locus of control, spirituality, the image of God, and dyadic cohesion in marital communication. Conclusion: Our study findings emphasize comprehensive understanding of diverse definition of resilience and moderators in developing nursing interventions to promote resilience in ACOA.

Objectives : To evaluate the evidence for effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy, for cervicogenic dizziness Methods : We conducted a search across 6 electronic databases to find all randomized controlled clinical trials(RCTs) that discuss Chuna manual therapy till September 2018. Results : 7 RCTs were selected for our inclusion criteria. The systematic review showed positive results for using Chuna manual therapy, for treating cervicogenic dizziness. Conclusions : Our systematic review found that effectiveness Chuna manual therapy for cervicogenic dizziness. However, our systematic review had several limited evidence. We recommend an additional research to test the effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to systematically review previous studies on constitutional herbal medicine treatment for the obesity. Methods A total of 11 databases were searched in English, Chinese, and Korean. Standard methodologies for the systematic review were used to search, analyze and synthesize data for undertaking review and meta-analysis for intervention. The risk of bias was assessed by two independent researchers using the Cochrane risk of bias. Results A total of 2 RCTs were selected and analyzed. The results of the meta-analysis showed a significantly positive effect in the body weight and body mass index for the patient group treated with Taeeumjowi-tang compared to the placebo control group. Conclusions Our results suggested that Taeeumjowi-tang could be considered for improvement of symptoms in obese patients, without serious adverse events. Due to the low quality of the clinical evidence in this study, further studies are needed to evaluate efficacy and safety of constitutional herbal medicines for obesity.

Objectives : Taichi for arthritis was developed in 1997 by Paul Lam, M.D. of family medicine in Australia. It is an exercise treatment program and a good approaching method of the oriental medicine for arthritis. However, clinical and academical researches were rare. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the Taichi for arthritis. Methods : We used the medical literature search system, MEDLIS and the database of academic journal, DBpia to search medical studies published in korea. Keywords were "Taichi", "Tai Chi Chuan" and "Arthritis". We classified literatures with two criteria, year of publishment and study design. Then we classified as placebo design and summarized whole material. We determined its effectiveness by positive-negative results of Taichi for arthritis. Results : Taichi for arthritis could release pain of the rheumatoid or degenerative arthritis. Also it is thought to increase muscular power and enhance physical flexibility, balance. Conclusions : There were limits to ensure effectiveness because of small number of studies comparing Taichi with other exercise program for arthritis. However the Taichi for arthritis could have positive effect to treat the rheumatoid and degenerative arthritis. We hope further studies to be followed in oriental medical field.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Malaysia. Therefore, it is highly important for the public to be educated on breast cancer and to know the steps to detect it early on. Healthcare providers are in the prime position to provide such education to the public due to their high knowledge regarding health and their roles in healthcare. The present systematic review involved studies conducted in recent years to analyze the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of Malaysian healthcare providers regarding breast cancer, in attempts to obtain an overall picture of how well equipped our healthcare providers are to provide optimal breast cancer education, and to see their perceptions and actual involvement in said education. The systematic review was conducted via a primary search of various databases and journal websites, and a secondary search of references used by eligible studies. Criteria for eligibility included being published from the year 2008 till present, being conducted in Malaysia, and being written in the English language. A total of two studies were eligible for this review. Findings show that Malaysian future and current healthcare providers have moderate knowledge on breast cancer, have a positive towards involvement of breast cancer education, but have poor actual involvement.

Purpose : To identify trends in studies on the intersection of neurofeedback (NF) training and rehabilitation interventions for patients with stroke, as conducted over the past decade. Methods : This review included studies published from 2012 to 2022. A comprehensive database search was conducted using keywords such as "stroke", "electroencephalogram (EEG)", "brain wave", "nerve feedback", and "upper extremity function". Results : A total of 703 studies were initially retrieved. Of these, literature predating 2012, duplicate literature, non-experimental studies, and studies that did not target patients with stroke were excluded. After this screening, we retrieved the full texts of 15 articles and re-checked whether each study met the inclusion criteria of this study. The advisory members who participated in this study consisted of people with doctoral degrees and more than 5 years of clinical experience related to the rehabilitation of patients with stroke. Disagreements were resolved through discussions. Ultimately, 8 papers met the inclusion criteria and were included in the final analysis. Despite differences in the type and duration of NF training, the combination of NF training and rehabilitation intervention was found to be effective in promoting the functional recovery of the upper extremities, eliciting positive EEG changes, and inducing neurological changes in the brain. Conclusion : A meta-analysis involving a wider search range is needed in future studies. In addition, efforts are required to generalize the clinical application of these interventions. This can be achieved by supplementing the research methodologies through extensive review studies that encompass a diverse array of study designs.

Development of information technology and Internet brought big changes in information society. Quantity of information increased rapidly and various types of information were presented through diverse channels. This change brought an impact in electronic commerce environment. A large number of products are transacted in online market. And various search functions and product information are presented for supporting customer's decision making. This study examined the effect of external information on purchase decision-making in electronic commerce environment. An experiment was conducted to see the customer product review, unit sales, etc. on purchase decision-making process in online shopping mall based electronic commerce. As a result of study, external information referring to number of purchasing, positive product review, and reliability of information has a positive effect on purchase-decision. The significance of the study can be found in that it defined 1) external information has an effect on decision-making, 2) positiveness and reliability of product information showed that they have an influence on customer, and 3) when self opinion and other person's opinion are different, one is not satisfied with decision making process. The results of the study can be of practical use in the design and implementation of online shopping mall in electronic commerce.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the scientific literature demonstrating the effectiveness of Chuna manual therapy (CMT) in the treatment of spinal scoliosis. Methods : A literature search was conducted using eight electronic databases to identify all randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) that investigated CMT as a treatment for spinal scoliosis. The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to assess the methodological quality of each RCT. Results : Five RCTs met our inclusion criteria and were included in the analysis. These studies demonstrated positive results of CMT with respect to the reduction of Cobb's angle, vertebral rotation angle score, bending test score, and efficacy rate compared with brace treatment. Positive results were also assured, in terms of the reduction of Cobb's angle, pulmonary function, and efficacy rate when comparing CMT combined with other therapy with brace treatment, gymnastic training, or traction therapy. Conclusions : This review has identified encouraging and limited evidence of CMT for the treatment of spinal scoliosis. However, to obtain stronger evidence, without the disadvantages of study design and quality, we recommend that treatment effectiveness of CMT for spinal scoliosis is investigated further using a well-designed RCT.

Objectives: Previous studies have evaluated the association between mercury exposure and obesity but have yielded mixed conclusions. The aim of this study was to systematically review and summarize scientific evidence regarding the association between mercury exposure and obesity in the human population. Methods: We conducted a systematic search of PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Science Direct for articles related to mercury exposure and obesity. Meta-analyses of the highest and lowest categories of mercury levels were evaluated using a random effects model. Begg's test was used to detect publication bias. Results: A total of 9 articles were included. The pooled random effects odds ratio (OR) for mercury exposure and obesity of all 9 studies was 1.66 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.16-2.38). This positive association was evident in adults (OR: 1.61, 95% CI: 1.02-2.54) and among studies with Asian populations (OR: 2.00, 95% CI: 1.53-2.59), but not among those with North America/African populations (OR: 0.90, 95% CI: 0.50-1.65). Conclusions: The present meta-analysis identified a positive association between mercury exposure and obesity. These findings suggest that toxic environmental metals such as mercury may be an important risk factor for obesity along with dietary habits and lifestyles.

Recently, consumer distrust has deepened due to blog posts focusing only on public relations due to 'viral marketing'. In addition, marketing projects such as false writing or exaggerated use of the latter phase are one of the most popular programs in 2016 as they are cheaper and more effective than newspaper and TV ads, and the size of advertising costs is set to be a major means of advertising at '3 trillion 394.1 billion won. From this 'viral marketing,' it has become an Internet environment that needs tools to filter information. The fake review filtering application ADDAVICHI presented in this paper extracts, analyzes, and presents blog keywords, total number of searches, reliability and satisfaction when users search for content such as "event" and "taste restaurant." Reliability shows the number of ad posts on a blog, the total number of posts, and satisfaction shows a clean post with confidence divided into positive and negative posts. Finally, the keyword shows a list of the top three words in the review from a positive post. In this way, it helps users interpret information away from advertising.
