  • The widespread use of Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and social media in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) field has resulted in continuous and unavoidable cyber-attacks on users and critical infrastructures worldwide. Traditional security measures such as firewalls and encryption systems are not effective in countering these sophisticated cyber-attacks. Therefore, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) are necessary to reduce the risk to an absolute minimum. Although IDPSs can detect various types of cyber-attacks with high accuracy, their performance is limited by a high false alarm rate. This study proposes a new technique called Fuzzy Logic - Objective Risk Analysis (FLORA) that can significantly reduce false positive alarm rates and maintain a high level of security against serious cyber-attacks. The FLORA model has a high fuzzy accuracy rate of 90.11% and can predict vulnerabilities with a high level of certainty. It also has a mechanism for monitoring and recording digital forensic evidence which can be used in legal prosecution proceedings in different jurisdictions.

  • The majority of product users rely on the reviews that are posted on the appropriate website. Both users and the product's manufacturer could benefit from these reviews. Daily, thousands of reviews are submitted; how is it possible to read them all? Sentiment analysis has become a critical field of research as posting reviews become more and more common. Machine learning techniques that are supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised have worked very hard to harvest this data. The complicated and technological area of feature engineering falls within machine learning. Using deep learning, this tedious process may be completed automatically. Numerous studies have been conducted on deep learning models like LSTM, CNN, RNN, and GRU. Each model has employed a certain type of data, such as CNN for pictures and LSTM for language translation, etc. According to experimental results utilizing a publicly accessible dataset with reviews for all of the models, both positive and negative, and CNN, the best model for the dataset was identified in comparison to the other models, with an accuracy rate of 81%.

  • Patient Navigation Program (PNP) is considered as an important implementation of health care systems that can assist in patient's treatment. Due to the feasibility of PNP implementation, a systematic reuse is needed for a wide adoption of PNP computerized system. SPL is one of the promising systematic reuse approaches for creating a reusable architecture to enabled reuse in several similar applications of PNP systems which has its own variations with other applications. However, stakeholder decision making which result from the imprecise, uncertain, and subjective nature of architecture selection based on quality attributes (QA) further hinders the development of the product line architecture. Therefore, this study aims to propose a quality-driven approach using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) techniques for Software Product Line Architecture (SPLA) to have an objective selection based on the QA of stakeholders in the domain of PNP. There are two steps proposed to this approach. First, a clear representation of quality is proposed by extending feature model (FM) with QA feature to determine the QA in the early phase of architecture selection. Second, MCDA techniques were applied for architecture selection based on objective preference for certain QA in the domain of PNP. The result of the proposed approach is the implementation of the PNP system with SPLA that had been selected using MCDA techniques. Evaluation for the approach is done by checking the approach's applicability in a case study and stakeholder validation. Evaluation on ease of use and usefulness of the approach with selected stakeholders have shown positive responses. The evaluation results proved that the proposed approach assisted in the implementation of PNP systems.

  • Data is the core of AI technology. With the development of technology, AI technology is also accelerating as the amount of data increases explosively than before. However, compared to the interest in AI education, research on data education with AI is still insufficient. According to the case analysis of exsisting AI data education, there were cases of educating the process and part of data science, but it was hard to find studies related to data collection. Cause physical computing tools have a positive effect on AI education for elementary school students, data collection cases using tools were studied, but researches related to data collection were rare. Therefore, in this study, an efficient data collection method using physical tools was designed. A structural diagram of a data collection program was created using COBL S, a modular physical computing teaching tool, and examples of program screens from the service side and the user side were configured. This study has limitations in that the establishment of an AI education platform that can be used in conjunction with future program production and programs should be prioritized as a proposal in terms of design.

  • Stock market news sentiment analysis (SA) aims to identify the attitudes of the news of the stock on the official platforms toward companies' stocks. It supports making the right decision in investing or analysts' evaluation. However, the research on Arabic SA is limited compared to that on English SA due to the complexity and limited corpora of the Arabic language. This paper develops a model of sentiment classification to predict the polarity of Arabic stock news in microblogs. Also, it aims to extract the reasons which lead to polarity categorization as the main economic causes or aspects based on semantic unity. Therefore, this paper presents an Arabic SA approach based on the logistic regression model and the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) model. The proposed model is used to classify articles as positive, negative, or neutral. It was trained on the basis of data collected from an official Saudi stock market article platform that was later preprocessed and labeled. Moreover, the economic reasons for the articles based on semantic unit, divided into seven economic aspects to highlight the polarity of the articles, were investigated. The supervised BERT model obtained 88% article classification accuracy based on SA, and the unsupervised mean Word2Vec encoder obtained 80% economic-aspect clustering accuracy. Predicting polarity classification on the Arabic stock market news and their economic reasons would provide valuable benefits to the stock SA field.

  • In this paper, we develop a simple method for computing the stabilizer subgroup of a subgroup of $$D(g)={{\alpha}{\in}\mathbb{F}_q|there\;is\;a\;{\beta}{\in}{\mathbb{F}}^x_q\;such\;that\;{\beta}^n=g(\alpha)}$$ in $PSL_2(\mathbb{F}_q)$, where q is a large odd prime power, n is a positive integer dividing q-1, and $g(x){\in}\mathbb{F}_q[x]$. As an application, we construct new infinite families of 3-designs (cf. Examples 3.4 and 3.5).
