  • Customers' evaluation of Website with satisfaction is critical in electroniccommerce. Previous research has studied in a distinct approach; especially IT oriented constructs-perceived usefulness, easy of use and marketing oriented constructs-product, shopping experience, service quality. Despite those important previous studies regarding the usage and the purchase of goods and services, how consumers are satisfied and why consumers leave Web sites without purchasing have not been extensively researched. This study explored those determinants of consumer satisfaction with Web site using expectation-disconfirmation theory (EDT). The present paper extends the range of EDT from antecedents of expectation to consequence of satisfaction. The result suggests that experience and familiarity has an impact on expectation as well as perceived performance and satisfaction. Second, higher expectation makes a negative impact on disconfirmation of expectation. Third, positive disconfirmation of expectation makes a positive impact on satisfaction. Forth. satisfaction produces loyalty and repurchasing intention. Finally, loyal customer has stronger intention to repurchase than satisfied customer.

  • The objective of this study was to analyze the two contrary effects of usage habits on the acceptance of a new IT. The one is a positive one which may be caused by expertise from the repetitive usages of a current system while the other is a negative one which would be due to lock-in. For this purpose, this study suggested three hypotheses which account for not only the negative effect of the habit in current system on the intention of using a new system but also the positive moderation effects on both relationships of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use with the intention of a new system. For the empirical tests of the hypotheses, this study surveyed acceptance of Google Docs for the users who have a habitual used word processor. The analysis by partial least square approach showed that the hypotheses were statistically supported.

  • The first spectrum auction in the Republic of Korea is attention-worthy owing to the fierce competition for the only 1.8-GHz spectrum license, the winning bidder of which was suspected of overpaying for its acquisition. This study empirically investigates the existence of a "winner's curse" in the first Korean spectrum auction by using a standard event study methodology. The results show that both the winner and loser experienced significant positive returns on the completion day of the auction. The results imply that there was no winner's curse in the auction and that the losing firm might increase its competitive advantage by acquiring other spectrum licenses despite failing to achieve its initial target spectrum. Therefore, these results suggest that regulators may need to consider bringing about positive short-term wealth benefits to all bidders by appropriately designing a spectrum auction, such as by performing multiband auctions.

  • Gemtuzumab ozogamicin (GO) is an antibody-targeted chemotherapeutic agent consisting of calicheamicin, a potent cytotoxic antibiotic linked to a recombinant humanized anti CD33 monoclonal antibody directed against the CD33 antigen present on leukemic myeloblasts in most patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). GO is indicated for the treatment of patients with CD33 positive AML in first relapse who are 60 years of age or older and who are not considered candidates for cytotoxic chemotherapy. GO has shown moderate activity as a single agent in patients with CD33-positive refractory or relapsed acute myeloid leukaemia, with more promising results in acute promyelocytic leukaemia. The side effect profile may be an improvement on conventional chemotherapy, except for a higher frequency of veno-occlusive disease or sinusoidal obstructive syndrome, especially after a subsequent haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Because of the different mechanisms of action and non-overlapping toxicities, the integration of this immunoconjugate with standard chemotherapy is a rational approach.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among the beliefs of parents and children, children's cognitive and emotional behavior based on cognitive and interreactionary approach models. The Subjects were 138 children (68 eight-year-olds and 70 eleven-year-olds) and their parents. Instruments used in this study were the modified Family Belief Interview Schedule(Alessandri & Wozniak, 1987), the Standard Achievement Test, and Harter's Perceived Competence Scale. Data analysis was by Pearson's r product moment correlation, two-way ANOVA, Fisher-Z test and Student-Newman-Keuls post-hoc test. The major findings are as follows: (1) The beliefs of parents and children has a significant influence children's perception of competence. (2) The congruence of parents' and children's beliefs was hightest in "assumed similarity". (3) Mother's positive view of their children and congruence of mother's and father's beliefs were correlated with children's academic achievement. Parents' positive beliefs and congruence of beliefs were also correlated with children's self-perception of competence.

  • Environmental design should be based on the positive theory, a researcher structured symbolic aesthetics on the basis of positive perception theory. Symbolic aesthetics by ecological theory of perception, human preference is related to existence and the formation of place-identity and cognitive map is dealt importantly in this study. Symbolic aesthetics is a study on environmental meaning and a researcher understood the operation of environmental meaning by regarding symbology as a methodological frame and defined architecture as a visual language system after discussing the importance of signified.

  • Strategic agility plays an important role in maintaining a competitive advantage for companies, where information systems are introduced. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the introduction of the information system on the strategic agility of the company through the analysis of the "H" resort, which has recently built the information system. Research shows that the introduction of resort management information systems promotes the level of strategic sensitivity, collective commitments and resource liquidity, which are key elements of strategic agility. This study confirmed that the establishment of resort information system has a positive effect on practitioners who want to create strategic agility. However, this study is a single case study and it is difficult to argue that the introduction of information systems is a positive for the strategic agility approach.

  • Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay was used to detect and identify four fish viruses, fish iridovirus, viral hemorrhagic septicaemia virus (VHSV), viral nervous necrosis virus (VNNV), hirame rhabdovirus (HRV). Four viruses were detected by PCR with each specific primers. Identification of iridovirus was achieved by digesting the PCR amplified fragment with a restriction enzyme ApaⅠ. It was possible to distinguish positive from false positive PCR amplicons of VHSV by RFLP of PstⅠ or HindⅢ restriction enzymes. VNNV was identified using RFLP of BamHⅠrestriction enzyme and HRV was identified by XbaⅠ restriction enzyme. This approach can be used for more rapid, simple and specific diagnosis of fish viral diseases.

  • In this study, the effect of parameter errors on the closed-loop behavior of flexible structure is analyzed for IMSC(Independent Modal Space Control) with PPF(Positive Position Feedback). If the control force designed on the basis of structure model with the parameter errors is applied to control the actual system, the closed-loop performance of the actural system will be degraded depending on the degree of the errors. An asymptotic stability condition has been derived, using Lyapunov approach, which is independent of the dynamic characteristics of the structure being controlled. The extent of deviation of the closed-loop performance from the designed one is also derived and evaluated using operator techniques. It has been found that the extent of the deviation is proportational to the magnitude of the parameter errors, and that the proportional coefficient depends on the control algorithm.

  • In this paper, we constructed a cognitive map of President Lee of Korea on the policy vision of green growth. This cognitive map is characterized by a scarcity of feedback loops and a strong emphasis on the positive loops. These characteristics can be understood by the fact that the green growth policy is to overcome the limits to growth coming from negative feedback loops. As a conclusion, we proposed a negative feedback loop approach to the green growth policy vision, which might minimize the side effects of positive loops.
