TiN 코팅 공구의 절삭저항에 관한 연구 (A Study for Cutting Resistance of TiN Coated Tools)

  • By using AIP(Arc Ion Plating) of a physical vapor deposition for the first time in Korea a ceramic tool whose surface is coated single layeredly with TiN is developed. In addition cutting resistance appearing in the process of finishing cut of hardened carbon tool steel STC3 is studied. The principal and radial components of cutting resistance in those cutting conditions appear to be the same or similar and the feed component is relatively small. The feed component is found to be in proportion to cutting width and the radial component in proportion to cutting thickness. Owing to coating the cutting resistance of a TiN coated ceramic tool increas-es compared with that of a general ceramic tool.

  • 마이크로 블레이드 제조를 위한 기초 연구로서, 전기도금 방법을 이용하여 Ni 및 다이아몬드 분말을 복합도금을 시켰다. $15{\sim}25{\mu}m$ 크기 분포를 갖는 다이아몬드 분말 농도 변화에 따라 전착되는 다이아몬드 분포 및 전기도금 용액 내 Ni 농도 변화에 따라 전착되는 다이아몬드 분포를 관찰하였다. 이를 위하여 광학현미경, 전자현미경(SEM), EDS 및 XED를 이용하였다. Ni 농도 변화보다는 다이아몬드 분말 농도 변화가 전착되는 다이아몬드 분포에 더 큰 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

  • Micro injection molding is a branch of micro system technology and has been under development for the mass manufacture of micro parts. Enhanced technological products like micro optical devices are entering the market. This paper presents fundamental research on the injection molding technique in micro fabrication. In order to successful manufacturing of micro plastic parts, it is necessary to research for development of micro-injection machine, machining of micro mold, decision of optimum injection conditions and the research for polymer material. Therefore in this study, in order to machining of micro mold, a mold core with microscopic V-shaped groove was tooled by ultra-precise tooling machine. The transcription experiments with a polymer, PMMA resin on the surface of core with Ni plating were carried out and surface profile of injected parts was measured with AFM.

퍼멀로이 박막의 형성과 자기 특성에 미치는 무전해도금 조건 및 열처리의 영향 (Effects of Electroless Plating Conditions and Heat Treatment on The Morphology and Magnetic Properties of Permalloy Thin Films)

  • 무전해도금법에 의한 퍼멀로이 박막의 도금 최적조건 규명 및 자기적 특성 향상을 위하여 퍼멀로이 박막의 미세구조 및 자기적 특성 등을 연구하였다. 소지는 알루미나를 사용하였으며, 환원제는 boron을 포함하는 Ni-Fe-B도금막이 형성되는 DMAB(dimethylamine borane)를 사용하였다. 도금시 인가된 도금막이 무자장하에서 도금된 도금막과 비교하여 기공이 적고, 조밀한 막이 형성됨을 SEM을 통하여 확인하였다. 도금속도는 온도, pH, DMAB 농도가 증가할수록 증가하였다. 도금막에 함유되는 boron의 함량은 pH가 감소할수록, 온도와 DMAB농도가 증가할수록 증가하였다. 도금막 보자력값은 30$0^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 열처리하였을 때 약 4.5Oe로 감소하였고, 포화자기유도값은 3-5kG 정도 증가하였다. 이때 포화자기유도값은 자장하에서 도금된 후 열처리한 도금막이 무자장하에서 도금된 후 열처리한 도금막에 비하여 1.7kG 정도 높았다. 또한 열처리 후의 도금막이 열처리 전의 도금막에 비하여 기공이 적고 조밀한 도금막을 형성함을 볼 수 있었다.

  • Using an ammonium oxalate-ammonium sulfate electrolyte, a simple, quantitative, and fast technique for preparing sources for analytical alpha spectrometry was developed. To determine the optimum conditions for plating plutonium, parameters such as current density .and pH of electrolyte affacting the electrodeposition of the plutonium have been investigated. An optimized electrodeposition step for the determination of plutonium has been validated with a result of application to IAEA-Reference Soils. The new method of fallout Pu determination has been applied to environmental samples such as soil, sediment and moss samples in Korea.

  • 본 논문은 전자 부품의 Soldring기에 사용되는 접합제를 Flux를 포함한 Solder paste 대신에 도금막을 이용하기 위한 Sn 도금막 형성 프로세스를 검토한 것이다. 반도체 Device를 Packaging한 외부단자(lead frame)과 HIC상의 후막전극(Ag/Pd)과의 접합 및 PCB상의 Cu land와의 접합시에는 스크린 프린트에 의한 Solder Paste가 일반적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 Fluxless Soldering의 한수단으로 도금막을 lead상에 형성시켜 접합 재료로서의 형성 프로세스 및 도금막의 특성과 도금형성 Paramete와의 관련성을 실험적으로 검토한 것으로 전류밀도 200 A/m$^{2}$의 조건으로 형성한 Sn 도금막이 접합용으로 최적조건임을 밝혔다.

  • Atomic force microscopy was applied to study the formation and growth mechanism of thin chrome layers prepared under various pulse plating conditions. The chrome was electro-deposited from an electrolyte bath containing 250 gl-l of chromic acid, 25 gl-l of sulfuric acid using direct current density of $1.6{\;}mA.$\textrm{mm}^{-2} and pulse currents with on-off time from 5 to 900 ms. The higher current density enhanced nucleation rate which resulted in refining grain size. The chrome growth kinetics determining nodule size and shape significantly depends on the duration of on-time rather than duration of off-time and on/off time ratio.

  • A method is described for the determination of the Po nuclides in a water sample. After the Po nuclides were purified from interfering elements in a water sample using a manganese dioxide precipitation followed by a solvent extraction method, the Po nuclides were deposited onto the silver plate. A large volume of the water sample was effectively pretreated with manganese dioxide precipitation method. To determine the optimum conditions for plating Po, the effects of the pH, volume, temperature and time on the Po deposition were investigated in hydrochloric acid solution. The investigated determination method of Po nuclides with solvent extraction was applied to a tap water sample.

  • The deposition conditions for plating polonium have been optimized with deposition parameters such as pH, volume and temperature of the deposition and deposition time. In the tap water, the chemical yields of polonium forthe deposition solution adjusted to pH 0 were higher than those for the deposition solution adjusted to pH 2. This modified auto-deposition method made it possible to obtain reliable data of activity concentration of Po-210.
