The purpose of this study is to prove the Korean Internet company, Kakao's resilience capacity. For it, this paper reviews the previous literatures regarding Kakao's business models and discusses 'resilience' theory. Then, it organizes the research questions based on the theoretical background and explains the research methodology. It investigates the case of Kakao's business and organization. The case analysis shows that five levers of resilience are a good indicator for a successful platform business evolution. The five levers are composed of coordination, cooperation, clout, capability, and connection: First lever, coordination that makes the company to restructure its silo governance in order to respond to actual business flow starting from the basic asset like game and music content; second lever, cooperation where the firm provides creative people with playground for startups such as KakaoPage; third lever, clout where the company shares its data by opening its API of AI and chatbot to $3^{rd}$ party developers; fourth lever, capability where the firm establishes AI R&D center, KakaoBrain as the function of multi-domain generalist for developing diverse platforms tackling customer needs; and the last fifth lever, connection where the firm continues to expand its platform business to the peripheries, O2O businesses such as KakaoTaxi, KakaoOrder, KakaoPay, and KakaoBank. In conclusion, this study proposes Internet companies to be a resilient platform utilizing those five levers of resilience in order to form successful platform. This study contributes to the agile innovation of Internet platform with ecological sense.

It was necessary for us to establish a U-City Integrated platform to handle information and to operate the processes in order to solve various social problems in the modern cities and environment. As time has passed, we have confronted to difficulty in handling massive data with limited storage and computing environment and in not satisfying all the new requirements and on time information from the publics. The bigger the cost of the operation of the platform got, the more doubts to keep and invest more to upgrade it arose. Here, we investigated the limitations of the U-city platforms and analyzed the additional requirements and each function of the platform. In order to meet the requirement, we applied new technologies to deal with massive data and suggested the infrastructure of computing environment. We will be expecting the cost decreasing effects and the benefit increasing effects from the enhancement of U-City platform.

In embedded system, if firmware code is opened by other company, must devise hardware copy prevention. That guard valuable product. Not used security IC, Suggested platform is source code open method that prevent core code and hardware copy. And that open firmware code for other company programmer. Suggest system security platform based on Corex-M3. that consist of IAP(In-application programing) and APP(Applicataion). IAP contain core code and security confirm code. APP is implement by other company developer using core function prototype.
A novel architecture and proprietary electronic inks were developed to provide disruptive digital-media solutions based on an electrokinetic technology platform. The flexible reflective electronic media (eMedia) was fabricated by imprinting three-dimensional microscale structures with a roll-to-roll manufacturing platform. The HP technologies enable the required attributes for eMedia, such as low power, transparency, print-quality color, continuous levels of gray, and lowcost scalability. Pixelation was also demonstrated by integrating with the prototype oxide thin-film transistor backplane, and the system architecture was further developed by stacking primary-colorant layers for color reflective-display application. The innovations described in this paper are currently being developed further for the eSkins, eSignage, and ePaper applications.

In this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of a recommendation platform actually built in the field. We survey deep learning-based recommendation models that are effective in reflecting individual user characteristics. The recently proposed RNN-based sequential recommendation models reflect individual user characteristics well. The recommendation platform we proposed has an architecture that can collect, store, and process big data from a company's commercial services. Our recommendation platform provides service providers with intuitive tools to evaluate and apply timely optimized recommendation models. In the model evaluation we performed, RNN-based sequential recommendation models showed high scores.
With the recent advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the importance of the platform business is increasing. Most global companies with high market value are known as platform companies. This change is changing the business model of companies in various industries. However, existing studies have mainly focused on information-intensive industries and large companies. Therefore, this study attempted to analyze the case of Everybot, which is successfully growing in the service robot industry. Everybot is known as a company that produces robot cleaners. However, according to the result, the company has focused on developing autonomous driving technologies and pursuing platform-based business strategies rather than product-based ones. The results of this study have theoretical and practical implications by showing how domestic small and medium-sized robot companies apply platform-based business strategies to achieve long-term growth with gaining leadership in the personal service robotics market.
This paper uses the horizontal regulation system as the base analysis framework. The study clearly defines the regulatory goals of the followings: the horizontal cross-ownership regulations on program provider (PP) and platform provider, the vertical regulation on cross-ownership between PP and platform operator, the regulation on cross-ownership of program provider by terrestrial broadcasting company, and the regulation on cross-ownership between terrestrial broadcasting company and platform provider. Then, by analyzing the conformity between goals and criteria of regulations and the adequacy of the regulation level according to regulatory purposes, this paper examines the justifiability of each regulation and extracts improvement measures that suite regulatory purposes. This analysis finds following appropriate measures: replacing the horizontal cross-ownership regulation on PP with conduct regulations, such as designating major broadcasting programs or replacing the current criterion of cross-ownership regulation from sales to the audience market share; reshaping the horizontal cross-ownership regulation on platform provider so that system operator (SO), satellite broadcaster and Internet protocol television (IPTV) operator would be applied by the same regulation based on the number of subscribers of pay television services; and discontinuing other cross-ownership regulation. In this way, the study shows that with appropriate regulations on cross-ownership of PP, there would be no need for additional regulation on vertical integration between PP and platform operator. On the other hand, given that the regulation on terrestrial broadcasting cross-ownership of PP could be justified only by regulatory purpose of the protection of the diversity of public opinions, it would be desirable to replace the current criteria of the number of PPs with the criteria of the audience market share. Lastly, the study shows that when platform operator is targeted by the cross-ownership regulation based on the number of subscribers of pay television services, the regulation on cross-ownership between terrestrial broadcasting company and platform provider should be replaced with conduct regulations, such as designating must-offer channels and major broadcasting programs.
Purpose: The purpose of this research is that Metaverse platforms' UXBDI can be distinguished among Metaverse platform channel types. Metaverse platform represents a collective term signifying services that include augmented reality, lifelogging, mirror worlds, and virtual worlds. User Experience-Based Design Innovativeness (UXBDI) is characterized by novelty in product design and services that satisfy user experience. This study examined the effect of Metaverse platforms' UXBDI on user-Metaverse platform relationships. Research design, data and methodology: Metaverse platform users were selected as samples, and a marketing research institution known as a panel company conducted the survey. It used multiple regression to test the impact on platform identification and commitment based on a survey of 442 South Korean respondents. Results: The research confirmed that UXBDI sub-dimensional scales of attractiveness and interaction increased user-Metaverse platform identification and commitment. Also, a Metaverse platform identity increased user-Metaverse platform identification in virtual and mirror worlds. Conclusion: This study contributes to multiple academic fields. First, the UXBDI of Metaverse platforms appears to be a key component of ongoing user-Metaverse relationships. Second, UXBDI affects relationships differently based on the Metaverse platform type.
