  • Many researchers have studied component technologies with concept, methodology and implementation for partial business domain, however there are rarely researches for component classification to manage these systematically. In this paper, we suggest a component classification model, which can make component reusability higher and can derive higher productivity of software development. We take four focuses generalization, abstraction, technology and size. The generalization means which category a component belongs to. The abstraction means how specific a component encapsulates its inside. The technology means which platform for hardware environment a component can be plugged in. The size means the physical component volume.

  • While the ship finance industry has long been struggling with diminishing involvements from the private sector, government-run banks have consistently increased their presence in maritime finance. To address such concerns, this research conceptually explores the creation of blockchain technology-driven security token offering (STO) platforms. To suggest a sound platform model, this piece first examines key design principles. Based on the integral perspective on the digital platform, this paper exhibits three core design principles to create a virtuous platform ecosystem, then sets out STO platform design guidelines. This paper further explores an STO platform model by considering conventional ship finance systems and practices in Korea. The STO platform has three main effects; 1) the wider availability of STOs can enlarge both the scope and size of ship finance users, 2) the activation of security token transactions leads to an increase in participation, and 3) possibilities to create complementary innovative financial services can further encourage the participation of private investors. The STO ecosystem may contribute to the shipping, shipbuilding, and ship finance industries by enhancing its attractiveness to the general public and by creating positive externalities for Busan as a maritime finance center.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to improve the efficiency of the activities of loosely connected network organization through the platform(Ba) of knowledge sharing. Loosely connected network organizations have been tried to promote new work and complement the scarce resources through collaborations. NPO(Non-Profit Organization) is essential to establish cooperation networks in order to achieve the public interest on the basis of scarce resources. This study interpreted the Ba on the 'Change-On' program and analyzed the social networks of regional organizations through the activation of the Ba. The 'Change-On' program is conducted for several years to promote the efficiency of the NPO network by Daum Generation Foundation. Design/methodology/approach This study made a design to organize the Ba concept of Nonaka & Konno and presented a case of the Ba activated based on the NPO network of regional order. According to the social network analysis of regional cooperation within the network of participating organizations was extended, it was found that the principal plays a significant role as a central hub made. Findings According to the empirical analysis, this study illustrated that various types of network were formed among NPOs based on the 'Change-On'. Furthermore, the networks surrounding NPOs are extended to the other people connected to them. This means that the network of NPOs had been diversified via the facilitation of the Ba. This study throws new highlights on the new role for the Ba as a network promoter in addition to the partner as a technology-provider in the NPO ecosystem. Moreover, the network analysis between before-and-after can be used for the evaluation of the effectiveness of the various Ba programs.

  • Recent activation of DMB has enabled various high quality video, audio and data services. And there are various user facilities functions using digital data transmission. One of the various user facilities functions is EPG(Electronic Program Guide). EPG supports schedule of programs on screen for. audiences. EPG is composed to time, title, channel, genre etc. Users can select a program what they want to browsing. Currently EPG services are displaying program schedule on screen visually and make users to input ke:ywords with keypads, remote control devices or touch screen etc. However, this approach could cause a serious restriction to some users like to drivers or visually handicapped persons. A standard for a voice EPG to T-DMB is proposed. This method must be transferred VoiceXML based EPG files from the transmitter to receivers. This approach has a problem to process a standardization because the transmitter and receivers should be modified. We proposed and implemented a voice EPG platform that generates the voice EPG files from T-DMB SI without transferring voice EPG file from the transmitter.

  • Although many studies have been conducted on risk analysis and evaluation in the on-premises environment in information security, studies on effective methodologies of risk analysis and evaluation for cloud computing systems are lacking. In 2015, the Cloud Computing Development Act was enacted, which served as an opportunity to promote the introduction of cloud computing. However, due to the increase in security incidents in the cloud computing system, activation is insufficient. In addition, the cloud computing system is not being actively introduced because of the difficulty in understanding the cloud computing system technology of the person in charge who intends to introduce the cloud computing system. In this regard, this study presented an effective risk analysis and evaluation method by examining the characteristics, concepts, and models of cloud computing systems and analyzing how these characteristics affect risk analysis and evaluation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the memory enhancing effect and underlying molecular mechanism of arabinoxylan (AX), a major component of dietary fiber in wheat against scopolamine (SCO)-induced amnesia in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Diverse behavior tests including Y-maze, Morris water maze, and passive avoidance tests were performed to measure cognitive functions. SCO significantly decreased the spontaneous alterations in Y-maze test and step-through latency in passive avoidance test, whereas increased time spent to find the hidden platform in Morris water maze test compared with the sham control group. In contrast, oral administration of AX (25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg) effectively reversed the SCO-induced cognitive impairments in SD rats. Furthermore, AX treatment up-regulated the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the cortex and hippocampus via promoting activation of cAMP response element binding protein (CREB). Therefore, our findings suggest that AX can improve SCO-induced learning and memory impairment possibly through activation of CREB and up-regulation of BDNF levels, thereby exhibiting a cognition-enhancing potential.

  • Over the last years the anodic formation of ordered $TiO_2$ nanotube layers has created significant scientific interest. Titanium oxide nanotube formation on the titanium or titanium alloy surface is expected to be important to improve cell adhesion and proliferation under clinical conditions. It should be possible to control the nanotube size and morphology for biomedical implant use by controlling the applied voltage, alloying element, current density, anodization time, and electrolyte. $TiO_2$ nanotubes show excellent biocompatibility, and the open volume in the tubes may be exploited as a drug release platform and so on. Therefore, in this study, Nanotube shape on the Ti-29Nb-xHf alloys with applied potentials was reserched. $TiO_2$ nanotube formation on Ti-29Nb-xHf alloys was carried out using anodization technique as a function of applied DC potential (10 V to 30 V and 30 V to 10 V) and anodization time for 60~120 min in $1MH_3PO_4$ with small additions of (0.8 wt. %, to 1.2 wt. %) NaF. The morphology change of anodized Ti-29Nb-xHf alloys was determined by FE-SEM, XRD, and EDS.
