웹 기반 로봇 시뮬레이터 (A Web-Based Robot Simulator)

  • According to the advancement of web related technologies, many works on robots using these technologies, called web-based robots enables sharing of expensive equipments as well as control of remote robots. But none of the existing methods about web-based robots in-clude robot simulators in their web browser, which transfer appropriate information of a remote place to the local users. In this paper, a web-based robot simulator is proposed and developed to control a remote robot by using the web. The proposed simulator can transfer the 3D information about the remote robot to the local users by using 3D graphics, which has not been previously developed. Also, it sends the camera image of a remote place to the local users so that the users can use this camera image as well as 3D information in order to control the remote robot.

확률분포를 이용한 포털들의 응답시간 품질에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality of Portals Based on Probability Distributions of Response Time)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is estimate response quality of three major portal in Korea based on the response time. In addition to response time, the response time by 1Kbyte will be analysed. Methods: Data was collected from July 2010 to November 2013 using Firebug. For comparing averages, ANOVA will be used. For comparing distributions, Chisquare test and Kolmogov-Smirnov test will be used for parametric and non parametric test respectively. Results: For response quality based on response time, Daum gets the first place, Naver the second place, and Nate the third place. But the order of the response time per 1Kbyte is different. The order is Naver, Daum and Nate. Conclusion: The response quality may be estimated using various factors. Response time is the most important factor. Daum provides the shortest response time. We could say Daum provides the best response quality. But Naver provides the shortest response time per 1Kbyte. From these results, we know reducing packets is very important thing in response time.

The Effect of Social Media Content Types on User Reactions: Focused on a Case Study of Kew Gardens

  • Background and objective: Instagram, an image-based social media, is being used as an important outlet for the communication and place marketing of public spaces. The purpose of this paper was to analyze how types of place-based content affect user reactions (Likes and Comments) on Instagram in order to provide basic data on the operation and utilization of social media by public places such as botanical gardens and arboretums. Methods: A total of 850 posts uploaded to the Instagram account of Kew Gardens from November 6, 2014 to July 3, 2020 were classified using 14 subject codes. Multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the user's reaction between the dependent variables ("Likes", "Comments") and the independent variables (14 subject codes). Results: The findings showed that user reactions appear to differ depending on the typology of the content, and "Likes" and "Comments" were presented in independent behavioral reactions. In particular, "close-ups of plants (botanic, macro)," "plant colony (botanic, wide)," "place-specific landscape (building, landscape)," "anniversary" and "information" showed positive impacts on both "Likes" and "Comments"which could lead to electronic word-of-mouth and content sharing. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it can be argued that the typology of a botanical garden's content can be used to determine factors that affect the immediate reactions and enhance engagement with users.

도시재생사업 인지도가 장소애착에 미치는 영향 - 청주시 중앙동 도시재생사업 대상지를 중심으로 - (Impacts of Awareness of Urban Regeneration Project on place attachment : Focused on Urban Regeneration project of Jungang-dong in Cheongju)

  • 도시재생(Urban Regeneration)은 지역의 경제적 발전과 활성화 도모를 궁극적 목표로 한다. 도시재생사업의 목표달성과 지속적 운영을 위해서는, 그 장소를 찾는 사람들의 인식을 살펴야 하며 이러한 인식은 그 장소에 많은 관심과 방문을 유도함으로써 지역 활성화 등의 실현수단이 되는 장소애착(place attachment)으로 대변된다. 이에 본 연구는 도시재생사업을 진행 중인 청주시 중앙동을 중심으로 물리적 환경과 활동 프로그램에 대한 인지도를 측정하였고 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 인지도가 장소애착 형성에 영향을 주었는지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 이용객은 도시재생사업 요인을 인지함으로써 '나는 이곳에 오래 머무르고 싶다', '나는 현재 장소의 모습이 바뀌면 그리울 것이다'라는 장소애착을 형성하지만 '이곳은 다른 곳과 차별적이다'라는 장소애착은 형성하지 못하고 있다. 결과적으로, 물리적 환경과 활동 프로그램을 동시에 반영하고 보다 풍부한 이용객의 심리를 형성하는 도시재생사업의 방향을 제시하였다.

  • The historical facts usually remain in the linguistic records. The name of a place has been considered most useful among the records. The name of a place contains lots of information which help us analyzing and explaining the historical problems. The main purpose of this thesis is to account for the relation between language and history based on the data of the name of a place with the property just mentioned above. Firstly I will estimate the territory of the former period of Paek-Che (18B.C.~475A.D.) on the basis of the distribution of the old name of a place and show that the presumed shape of the territory could prove the fact that the unification of Shilla is 'the unification of two nations' but not 'the unification of three nations' Secondly the distribution of the old name of a place can bring light on the interrelation between Paek-Che language and Kara language and help us understand the relation of neighboring countries between two nations. Thirdly we can discuss the relation between the language of the former period of Paek-Che and of the old period of Japan: that is, how the language of Paek-Che came in the Japanese language. Also, the history of cultural domination between Paek-Che and Japan could be clarified if we can prove the linguistic similarity of two nations either to be genealogical relation or to be borrowing one.

  • 도시의 계획적 관리를 위해서는 매년 지가 분석을 통해 문제점들을 발견하고 보완해야 한다. GIS를 이용한 지가의 분포 특성과 중심지의 파악은 도시계획 및 관리방안을 모색하는데 필요한 기초자료로 많은 역할을 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 사례지역인 대전광역시의 개별공시지가를 토대로 한 중심성 측정, 분포도 작성, 등치선도 등을 분석하고, 이와 중심지와의 관련성을 분석하였다.

  • 수습유물 및 문헌록의 분석을 통해 우하리 요지는 세종실록지리지상의 중품요지임을 알 수 있었다. 이 곳은 세종 당시의 중품생산지인 공성현 원동으로 추정됨에 따라 중품자기의 성격을 파악할 수 있는 요지일 뿐만 아니라 한국도자수공업상의 연구에 있어서 매우 중요한 발견이다. 출토 자편들의 대부분은 生活容器들이다. 특히 “膳”자가 흑상감 된 대접편이 출토됨으로서 명백한 자료를 제시하고 있다. 즉 우하리 요지는 세종 당시(1420년대) 음식을 관장하는 중앙 관청의 하나인 사선서(司膳署)에 공납(貢納)의 일부를 담당하고 있었던 곳이다.

'장소의 상징적 이미지와 문화적 활동의 영역적 체계'에 입각한 문화관광개발의 개념적 모형 정립 (Constructing a Conceptual Framework for the Development of Cultural Tourism based on 'place image' and 'local systems for cultural activities')

  • 대중관광에서 신관광으로의 전환은 문화관광의 다기한 발전과 밀접하게 연결되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 문화관광지의 생성 개발 및 진화 발전 단계를 도출하여 '문화관광개발의 개념적 모형'을 구축하고자 한다. 또 관광, 문화예술 활동, 문화제품 생산 간에 유기적인 시스템이 존재하고 있음을 개념적으로 밝히고 있다. 연구 결과 문화관광지는 '장소 이미지 형성', '상징적 공간 구축', '문화적 활동의 영역적 시스템 형성' 등 세 단계를 거치면서 진화 발전한다. 또 각단계별로 존재하는 몇 가지 지배적인 구성요소를 도출함으로써 문화관광지의 발전 매커니즘을 보다 구체적으로 이해할 수 있게 되었다. 이 연구는 통합적, 영역적 관점에서 관광현상을 분석함으로써, 관광부문과 지역 사회경제 각 부문간 관계를 이해하고, 활력 있는 시스템적 관계로 전환하는 방법론 개발에 기여한다. 이 연구는 장소성, 장소이미지, 활동공간, 영역적 시스템 및 네트워크 등 인문지리학적 이론과 개념에 크게 의존하고 있다.

국내 현장중온재생공법의 효율적인 가열공정을 위한 기초연구 (A Fundamental Study for the Efficient Heating System for Warm In-Place Recycling in Korea)

  • PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to determine the milling temperature that minimizes the binder-induced damage to the aggregate; this is achieved by evaluating the temperature dependence of the viscosity of the asphalt binder, with the aim of developing an effective heating process for warm in-place recycling. METHODS : The validity of the indoor test was confirmed by conducting an internal heating test based on the on-site heating test. In addition, the adhesive power of the binder was measured at various temperatures ($30^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$, $70^{\circ}C$) via three types of measuring methods. RESULTS: The surface temperature spectrum of field test was slight different with that of laboratory test. But, the spectra of inner temperature between the field and the laboratory was almost similar. Also, the adhesion of the asphalt binder was measured from $30^{\circ}C$ to $70^{\circ}C$. The adhesion of the binder was significantly decreased from $60^{\circ}C$. Contrary to other temperature, the adhesion was slightly changed from $60^{\circ}C$ to $70^{\circ}C$. Also the inner temperature between two different heating methods was shown similar temperature spectra. CONCLUSIONS: The pavement heating temperature spectrum of hot in place recycling method was simulated by a laboratory test. Based on this study, the optimum temperature was $60^{\circ}C{\sim}70^{\circ}C$ for reducing aggregate damage during milling process. The susceptibility heating method developed in this study can be maintained the optimum inner temperature range.

웹 기반 치차장치 설계 시스템 개발 (Web-based Design System of Gear Drive)

  • There have been continuous efforts for developing the automatic mechanical design system to increase the efficiency of the tedious design process. However, these efforts have been concentrated on single platform application. Hence, the developed systems have been available only in a designated place and time and have been difficult to modify. It is proposed in this study that a web-based design system is developed to offer more reliability and convenience without any restriction of tine and place. The developed system is programed based on Java, and architecture of the system has object-oriented features of Servlet and JSP and is independent on any operating systems. The developed system has been applied to the initial design of multi-stage gear dirves but however as the framework of the developed system is quite versatile, its application to automatic design of any mechanical system or evaluation can be easily expected.
