천연 접착제를 활용한 사찰벽화 화벽층의 충전 재료연구 (Study on the filling material for the painting wall layer of the temple wall painting using a natural adhesive)

  • Considering the physical quality of the wall body in this study we tried to select a replenishing that is proper for filling the cracked part of the painting wall layer and apply the natural adhesives that have traditionally been used, investigating whether it is possible to substitute those for the chemical adhesive which is used at present time. The result of this study showed the red algae adhesive was, in a weathering environment, as safe as the synthetic resin originated from the polyvinyl acetate which is used generally on the present spot, and it was concluded that although the starch adhesive displayed its superiority in enhancing the strength of the earth mortar and its work disposition, it seemed proper for it to be used as a filling adhesive for the first or midterm layer because it showed a surface hardening phenomenon. And also the glue and fish glue were judged they were not qualified as a filling adhesive due to mold occurring in a environment of high moisture that is a biological problem, showing at same time a weak physical feature in a weathering environment. Therefore it would be possible to use the red algae adhesive or starch one substituting them for the original one sold on the present market, if among natural adhesives the weak points of the them were to be corrected.

Vehicle Instrument Cluster Layout Differentiation for Elderly Drivers

  • Objective: The objective of this study is to identify essential requirements of the instrument cluster's features and layout for elderly drivers through interview and paper prototyping. Background: Recent updates implemented in passenger vehicles require more complex information to be processed by drivers. Concurrently, a large portion of the US population, the baby boomer generation has aged, causing their physical and cognitive abilities to deter. Thus it is crucial that new methods be implemented into vehicle design in order to accommodate for the deterioration of mental and physical abilities. Method: Forty elderly drivers and twenty young drivers participated in this study. The test included three sessions including: 1) location value assessment to identify the priority of areas within the instrument cluster; 2) component value assessment to capture rankings of the degree of importance and frequency of use for possible instrument cluster components; and 3) paper prototyping to collect self-designed cluster with selection of designs for each component and location of features from each participant. Results: Results revealed differences in the area priority of the instrument cluster as well as the shape and location of component features for age and gender groups. Conclusion: The study provided insights on instrument cluster layout guidelines by proving elderly driver's mental model and preferred cluster design configurations to improve driving safety. Application: LCD-based vehicle instrument cluster design, with an adaptable feature configuration for cluster components and layouts.

척수장애 성인남성의 신체측정치 분석 (Analysis of Body Size of Disabled Men with Spinal Cord Injuries)

  • Today the number of the disabled people with a spinal cord injury is increasing by the acquired factor. The purpose of the study is to furnish basic data for the study of satisfactory clothing construction data by considering the physical variation by the time passed the since the injury. Also the study includes the actual measuring of the disabled men with spinal cord injuries which is compared with the data of the 5th national anthropometric survey of Korea and makes it possible to grasp the distinguished physical feature of the disabled men with the spinal cord injury. As a result, first, the measured data are smaller than those of the 5th national anthropometric survey of Korea in the items of height and length of the upper half of the body related to stature. Second, the measured data are bigger than those of the 5th national anthropometric survey of Korea in the items of breadth, depth and circumference of the upper half of the body related to the exercise. Third, there are differences in the items of depth of the lower half of the body, breadth and circumference in the analysis of the time passed since the injury.

유기농산물 생산자 조직의 유통활동과 소비확대 방향 (Marketing Activities of Producers' Organization and Direction of Consumption Increase on Organic Farming Products)

  • This study analyzed marketing activities of producers' organization on organic farming products(O.F.Ps), and was inquired into direction of consumption increase by it. As a result, in order to raise marketing efficiency and to increase consumption of O.F.Ps, the present questions and issues which are to be solved is as follows: Consumer's confidence for O.F.Ps should be obtained broadly and formally. Particulary, the use of brand such as 'no pollution' or ' no pesticides' should be forbidden without institutional certification. Thus cosumers should be able to distinguish O.F.Ps from general farming products(G.F.Ps) by the brand. Also physical marketing is inefficient since many items are marketed in small amount, and marketing cost is spendedtoo much relatively. Physical marketing center to cut down this expenses should be constructed under government support largely. And the consumers' price of O.F.Ps tends to be fixed all the year round. Owing to this feature, the consumers' price of G.F.Ps have severely influece upon at once demand and supply of O.F.Ps. The associations of consumer and producer should allow O.F.Ps price to fluctuate in proportion to G.F.Ps price. Besides, both should vary marketing patterns. Finally, government should help both associations legally and institutionally to improve all economic activities.

STEP을 근거로 한 선체화물창부 구조 데이터 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ship Cargo Hold Structure Data Model Based on STEP)

  • In this study, a pseudo ship structure data model for the :.hip cargo hold structure based on STEP is proposed. The proposed data model is based on Application Reference Model of AP218 Ship Structure which is the model that specifies conceptual structures and constraints used to describe the information requirements of an application. And the proposeddata model refers the Ship Common Model framework for the model architecture which is the basis for ongoing ship AP development within the ISO ship-building group and the ship product definition information model of CSDP research project for analyzing the relationship between ship structure model entities. The proposed data model includes Space, Compartment. Ship Structural System, Structural Part and Structural Feature of cargo hold. To generate this data model schema in EXPRESS format, ‘GX-Converter’was used which enables user to edit a model in EXPRESS format and convert schema file in EXPRESS format. Using this model schema, STEP physical file containing design data for ship cargo hold data structure was generated through SDAI programming. The another STEP physical file was also generated containing geometry data of ship cargo hold which was extracted and calculated by SDAI and external surface/surface intersection program. The geometry information of ship cargo hold can be then transferred to commercial CAD system, for example, Pro/Engineer. Examples of the modification of the design information are also Presented.

다상 유체 시뮬레이션에서 격자 크기 이하의 미세한 특징 표현을 위한 물리기반 입자 기법 (A Physical-based Particle Method for Small Scale Feature in Multi-phase Fluid Simulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 물리기반 다상 유체 시뮬레이션의 정확성과 격자 크기 이하의 미세하고 사실적으로 아름다운 유체를 표현하기 위하여 이탈입자에 물리 기법을 추가하였다. 이탈 입자는 입자등위집합 기법에서 표시 입자들이 등위집합을 보정해 주고 남아 있는 입자들을 말하며, 본 논문은 이탈입자가 생성되는 방법을 기존과 다르게 하고, 미세한 공기방울을 표현한 양수의 이탈입자에서 견인력과 양력을 사용하여 유체 시뮬레이션을 확장하였다. 음수의 이탈입자는 또한 물방울과 스플래시 효과를 표현하였고, 등위집합의 음의 값과 합해지게 되면 그 노드의 속도에 영향을 주도록 설계하였다. 이렇게 양수의 이탈입자와 음수의 이탈입자를 사용하는 것은 유체 시뮬레이션에서 격자크기 이하의 상세함을 표현할 수 있고 역동적인 유체를 시뮬레이션 할 수 있게 한다.

Damage state evaluation of experimental and simulated bolted joints using chaotic ultrasonic waves

  • Ultrasonic chaotic excitations combined with sensor prediction algorithms have shown the ability to identify incipient damage (loss of preload) in a bolted joint. In this study we examine a physical experiment on a single-bolt aluminum lap joint as well as a three-dimensional physics-based simulation designed to model the behavior of guided ultrasonic waves through a similarly configured joint. A multiple bolt frame structure is also experimentally examined. In the physical experiment each signal is imparted to the structure through a macro-fiber composite (MFC) patch on one side of the lap joint and sensed using an equivalent MFC patch on the opposite side of the joint. The model applies the waveform via direct nodal displacement and 'senses' the resulting displacement using an average of the nodal strain over an area equivalent to the MFC patch. A novel statistical classification feature is developed from information theory concepts of cross-prediction and interdependence. This damage detection algorithm is used to evaluate multiple damage levels and locations.

보안 JPMP-SID Tag를 활용한 사고 상황 ID 기록 시스템 설계 (Design of Accident Situation ID Recording System using JPMP-SID Security Tag)

  • JPMP SID Tag는 센서 모듈을 이용한 물리적인 정보보호 기능을 제공하는 보안센서태그로써 저장되는 데이터의 복제 및 위조가 불가능한 특징을 가진다. 따라서 JPMP SID Tag저장되는 데이터의 진정성, 무결성, 원본성을 가지게 되어, 데이터의 보안이 요구되는 곳에 응용될수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 JPMP SID Tag가 가지는 물리적 보안 특징을 활용하여 사고 원인 규명이 필요한 도난 및 차량 사고를 대상으로 하여 디지털 증거를 획득 및 보호하고자 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 제안 시스템에서는 JPMP SID Tag의 접근 제어를 위한 2차적인 제어로직을 구성하여, 제안 시스템의 소프트웨어 보안을 보완하고자 하였다.

  • 폐고무의 증가로 인하여 환경문제가 날로 심각해지고 있다. 그러므로 효율적인 재활용을 통하여 이러한 문제를 해결하는데 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 탈황시스템을 이용하여 폐고무 분말의 가황 결합을 분리함으로서 기본물성을 높이는데 목적을 두었다. 폐고무분말의 입자크기에 따른 물성의 변화와 De-link 함량 증가에 따른 물성을 조사하였고 De-link를 함유한 시료를 기존 배합물에 10phr 충전하여 유변학적, 기계적 및 가교도 등의 물성을 조사하였다. 또한 광학현미경을 사용하여 표면을 확인함으로서 제품특성을 연구하였다.

  • The considerable increase of the elderly with dementia is expected annually and when we think about the family members' and the patients' suffering, it could be painful. Above all things, it imposes heavy economic burdens on the family members that have patients who suffer from diseases of age like dementia or paralysis that caring them at home and also, it is not desirable for those old people in point of physical or environmental circumstances for medical care. Thus, it is needed urgently that the expansion of specified facilities and improvement of services for these old people. Under this present condition, it is the special feature that the subject of research is people/facilities that offer services, not the elderly with dementia-the main user of those facilities. Thus, it is the time that we need various accessing plans that can grasp the patiences' activities and specialties and solve these problems in view of designing interior space. So, I tried to make designs that manage the elderly with dementia effectively and adequate to run facilities with considerations on the state of domestic specialized long-term care facilities for the elderly with dementia and researched guiding principles on physical healing surroundings with analysis that focused on the patients' activities, especially.
