베르톨로티 증후군의 다양한 임상 양상에 대한 포괄적 치료 (Multimodal Treatment for Various Clinical Features in Bertolotti's Syndrome)

  • Bertolotti's syndrome (BS) is a disease that should be differentiated from low back pain (LBP) in young patients. BS shows an anatomical abnormality in which elongated transverse processes of the last lumbar vertebra articulate or fuse with varying degrees to the sacrum or ilium according to radiologic findings, which is associated with the clinical feature of LBP or radiating pain. In this case report, we describe various clinical features such as a waddling gait with severe foot and triceps surae muscle pain, in addition to the typical symptom of BS such as LBP. We report the various clinical symptoms and treatment progress in this case and review the literature.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the esthetic features of femme fatale character fashions, which are shown in Movie . The feature of evil femineity is the attribute of evil which brings men to ruin by the dangerous, cunning, and cruel trick, and is expressed in black color, red color, and slash fashion. This fashion shows the dark reverse side of women's sexual desire in relation to anxiety, evil, and death. The feature of sensuality evokes physical pleasures or desires, and maximizes the exposure of sexual regions by tightening or loosening women's body. In the fashion expressing this feature, the forms are fit or loose silhouette. and the colors are black and red. and the materials are soft. This fashion seems to deconstruct the past concept of sex consciousness and emphasize the independent and autonomous femineity. The feature of positiveness combines feminine elements with masculine elements in relation to power elements. This feature is expressed in tailored suit and trousers, with few patterns and details, and in black color and gray color. This fashion reflects the aggressive, challenging, and independent femineity, and expresses the potential defense for the weakness and danger of female body. The feature of purity expresses the earnest and truthful mind, and is expressed in the soft and light one-piece dress, the elegant suit, and the pink color and black color fashion. This fashion shows angel-like and reliable womanly beauty, but at the same time shows women's attribute which changes their behavior and thinking every moment, so that this fashion shows women's double-sided attribute which combines women's weakness and violence, or tenacity and conflict.

음성-영상 특징 추출 멀티모달 모델을 이용한 감정 인식 모델 개발 (Development of Emotion Recognition Model Using Audio-video Feature Extraction Multimodal Model)

  • 감정으로 인해 생기는 신체적 정신적인 변화는 운전이나 학습 행동 등 다양한 행동에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 감정을 인식하는 것은 운전 중 위험한 감정 인식 및 제어 등 다양한 산업에서 이용될 수 있기 때문에 매우 중요한 과업이다. 본 논문에는 서로 도메인이 다른 음성과 영상 데이터를 모두 이용하여 감정을 인식하는 멀티모달 모델을 구현하여 감정 인식 연구를 진행했다. 본 연구에서는 RAVDESS 데이터를 이용하여 영상 데이터에 음성을 추출한 뒤 2D-CNN을 이용한 모델을 통해 음성 데이터 특징을 추출하였으며 영상 데이터는 Slowfast feature extractor를 통해 영상 데이터 특징을 추출하였다. 감정 인식을 위한 제안된 멀티모달 모델에서 음성 데이터와 영상 데이터의 특징 벡터를 통합하여 감정 인식을 시도하였다. 또한 멀티모달 모델을 구현할 때 많이 쓰인 방법론인 각 모델의 결과 스코어를 합치는 방법, 투표하는 방법을 이용하여 멀티모달 모델을 구현하고 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법과 비교하여 각 모델의 성능을 확인하였다.

보호복 관련 국내·외 표준에 대한 탐색적 조사 - ISO, ASTM, CEN, KS를 중심으로 - (An Exploratory Study on Domestic and International Protective Clothing Standard - Focused on ISO, ASTM, CEN, KS -)

  • When designing protective clothing, there are something to be considered such as physiological feature of human body, acting range not to restrict physical activity, and effectiveness of material. Because the primary objective of protective clothing is to protect human body from danger and it is designed through complex designing process not likely general clothing design. However, current evaluation techniques-such as the ISO, the ASTM and the CEN, and KS-provide only the standard to evaluate the primary feature of material (testing, performance requirements, material specification, selection and application, test and care, and so on). There are no standard to evaluate influence for the human body while protective clothing put on. Especially, in Korea, there is KS to evaluate protective clothing, but it is partially translated version from ISO because of lack of core technology about this field. However, developed countries recognize it is new competitive means in the time of Global Standards and they are competing to make their own standard to global standard for the protective clothing. Therefore, it can be great opportunity for Korean clothing and textile industry to revitalize if focusing on research and development for protective clothing design based on physical activity of human body, fit evaluation technique and sizing which is currently no global standard for it and developing our standard to global standard.

고령자를 고려한 컬러테라피 기반 색채 배색 팔레트 (A Palette of Color Combination Based on Color Therapy for the Elderly)

  • As fast-speed of aging in modern society has led to increased concern for aging and health improvement of senior citizens, desire about having healthy living-environment has also increased. Living space for senior citizens has to play role of healing for their body feature as well as decrease in mental and psychological function. Color, as important factor that supplements degenerated sense and coping ability caused by aging, it has been revealed through modern medical science that color is effective for making nervous or calming down when it is delivered to one's nerve through sight. The purpose of this study is to suggest basic resource for color arrangement palette of living space and application method by color therapy to improve seniors' mental health by considering psychological and physical features caused by aging. First, consider psychological and physical feature of seniors and color therapy effect through previous research. Second, extract RGB value after selecting color that is helpful for their mental health by using palette from 'Korea Agency for Technology and Standards'. Third, extract other 3 colors that are similar with extracted color from 'NCS 1950 Color System'. Fourth, deduct palette of 3 color arrangement by using 'NCS Navigator' program. Lastly, extract arrangement palette for them by considering difference in visual features, and then suggest arrangement application for each palette through Computer Simulation.

  • 새로움과 독특함을 추구하는 현대인의 의식구조와 예술의 본질을 바탕으로 예술과 디자인, 그리고 영상의 영역에 있어서도 다양한 매체가 끊임없이 등장하고 있다 . 레이저 또한 전자공학과 물리학의 발달에 힘입어 그 응용기술과 적용분야가 광범위해 지고 있는 가운데 엔터테인먼트 및 각종 이벤트 산업과 전시영상 등, 예술과 디자인의 영역에서 신비하고 환상적인 감동을 가져다주는 시각매체로 확고한 위치를 차지하게 되었다. 본 연구는 첨단과학의 산물로서, 그 독특한 물리적 특성으로 인한 환상적 시각효과창출로 새로운 시각전달매체로 등장하고 있는 레이저에 대한 영상제작측면에서의 연구로서, 레이저영상을 기획하고 제작함에 있어서 레이저의 물리적 특성과 테크놀로지 및 하드웨어상의 구성을 검토하고 레이저가 이미지를 완성시키는 그래픽 적 특성들을 고찰하여 레이저영상 기획 자와 연출가 및 아티스트들의 보다 활발한 레이저영상제작을 도모하고 궁극적으로는 질적으로 보다 완성도 높은 작품을 제작할 수도 있도록 한다.

Anatomical and Physical Characteristics of Korean Paulownia (Paulownia coreana) Branch Wood

  • The anatomical and physical properties of tension wood (TW), opposite wood (OW) and lateral wood (LW) in the branches of Korean paulownia (Paulownia coreana) were compared. The diameter of TW vessels was larger than that of OW and LW vessels. The most distinctive feature of TW fibers was the presence of a gelatinous layer (G-fiber). The cell wall of TW fibers was nearly three times as thick as that of OW and LW. TW differed from OW and LW in density, X-ray diffraction pattern and shear and compressive strengths. The results obtained in this study showed clear differences in the anatomical and physical properties of TW, OW and LW of Paulownia coreana branch woods.

Nonlinear thermal displacements of laminated composite beams

  • In this paper, nonlinear displacements of laminated composite beams are investigated under non-uniform temperature rising with temperature dependent physical properties. Total Lagrangian approach is used in conjunction with the Timoshenko beam theory for nonlinear kinematic model. Material properties of the laminated composite beam are temperature dependent. In the solution of the nonlinear problem, incremental displacement-based finite element method is used with Newton-Raphson iteration method. The distinctive feature of this study is nonlinear thermal analysis of Timoshenko Laminated beams full geometric non-linearity and by using finite element method. In this study, the differences between temperature dependent and independent physical properties are investigated for laminated composite beams for nonlinear case. Effects of fiber orientation angles, the stacking sequence of laminates and temperature on the nonlinear displacements are examined and discussed in detail.

노인공동생활주택 개별주호 특성에 대한 예비노인의 선호 분석 (The Preferences for the Physical Features of Senior Congregate Housing)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preferences for the physical features of senior congregate housing. The survey was conducted among middle-aged people in their fifties, who lived in Seoul, using the systematic random sampling method. The data were collected from November 3, 2003 to November 14, 2003 and the final subjects consisted of 498 respondents. Various statistical methods such as frequency, mean, cross tabulation, t-test, factor analysis, and multiple regression were used in this study. The results of this study were as follows. Firstly, most of the respondents preferred 55 to $70m^2$ sized individual units and they rarely wanted smaller units of less than $35m^2$. Individual units of one or two bedrooms were also preferred by future users. Small towns were preferred to large complex. For housing type, they preferred row houses or single detached houses to high-rise apartments. Secondly, there were no significant statistical differences between income and the preference of the physical features. From the results, we concluded that senior congregate housing should be developed not only in accordance with the users' preferences but also over a certain minimum physical quality level, regardless of the users' income.

뇌성마비아의 임상적 양상 (Clinical Features of Children with Cerebral Palsy)

  • Cerebral palsy is a neurodevelopmental impairment caused by a nonprogressive defect or lesion in single or multiple locations in the immature brain. The defect or lesion can occur in utero or during or shortly after birth and produces sensory-motor impairment that are usually evident in early infancy. The causes of cerebral palsy are not completely understood, certain prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors have been associated with cerebral palsy. This study was analysed the clinical features of 50 children with cerebral palsy (29 males and 21 females) in National Rehabilitation Hospital from March 17 to June 27, 1998. The time of initial visit was over than 12 months in 74%, and their cheif complains were delayed developments (78%). The preterm infants were 40% and the infants with low birth weight were 36%. The maternal age at childbirth was over than 30 years old in 52%. The most common type of cerebral palsy was spastic (54%), mixed (22%), athetosis and hypotonia (10% each), ataxia (4%). The cerebral palsy with preterm infants and low birth weight were more likely to have spastic type (P=0.002, P=0.023 each). The most preterm infants were born between 30 and 35 years old of maternal age, and there were statistical significance in difference (P=0.031).
