목사들의 음성발성에 대한 음향분석학적 특징 (Acoustic and Stroboscopic Characteristics in Clergies)

  • Objectives : To compare the objective differences in voice quality and voice problems between clergies and normal male control group. Materials and Methods : The sustained vowel sound of 46 clergies and 40 normal persons were analyzed, using a videostroboscopy and acoustic analyzer. Together with these analyses, a questionnaire associated with current and past voice problems was handed over to the patients. Results : The most common symptom in subjective group was the voice fatigue. Stroboscopic findings in subjective group were as following 23 cases(50%) of pachydermia, 17 cases(37%) of phase difference, 12 cases(25%) of anterior-posterior contracture, 6 cases(13%) of vocal polyp and 3 cases(7%) of vocal nodule. The mean maximal phonation time in clergies was 17.8 seconds and in control group was 19 seconds. litter, pitch perturbation quotient and shimmer were significantly increased in subjective group than in control group(p<0.05), but there were no significant differences between two groups in fundamental frequency, vFo, amplitude perturbation quotient and noise to harmonic ratio. Conclusion : In the clergies using loud and forceful voice, vocal polyp and functional voice disorder findings were frequently noted in stroboscopic examination. litter and shimmer, reflecting the roughness of voice, were increased in acoustic analysis. Therefore, clergies, classified into untrained professional voice users, need professional career guidance and counseling.

Tight Focusing Characteristics of Circularly Polarized Bessel-Gauss Beams with Fractional-order Vortex Modulation

  • Radially polarized beams with the ability to generate a sub-wavelength sized spot in a longitudinal field provides significant applications in microscopic imaging, optical tweezers, lithography and so on. However, this excellent property can also be achieved based on conventional circularly polarized beams. Here, we demonstrate its ability to create a strong longitudinal field by comparing the tight focusing characteristics of fractional-order vortex modulated radial polarized and left-handed circular polarized Bessel-Gauss beams. Additionally, the possibility of generating arbitrary fractional-order vortex modulated Bessel-Gauss beams with a strong longitudinal field is demonstrated. A special modulation method of left-handed circularly polarized Bessel-Gauss beams modulated by a fractional-order vortex is adopted creatively and a series of regulation laws are obtained. Specifically, the fractional-order phase modulation parameter n can accurately control the number of optical lobes. The ratio of the pupil radius to the incident beam waist β1 can control the radius of the optical lobes. The first-order Bessel function amplitude modulation parameter β2 can control the number of layers of optical lobes. This work not only adds a new modulation method for optical micromanipulation and optical communication, but also enriches the research on fractional vortex beams which has very important academic significance.

보행 시작 시 원심성 근육 수축 조절 (Muscle Eccentric Control in Gait Initiation)

  • 전시냅스 억제(presynaptic inhibition)와 동시냅스 억제(homosynaptic depression)는 보행 시에 분절반사(segmental reflex)를 조절하는 두 가지 독립적인 기전이다. 근방추 피드백(feedback)은 전시냅스 억제(inhibition)를 통해 보행 시 원심성 근육 수축기에서 적절이 조절될 수 있다. 이러한 전시냅스 억제 작용은 H-reflex의 강도로 나타내질 수 있는데, 원심성 근육 수축기 동안 H-reflex의 강도가 약해지는 것으로 보아 전시냅스 억제 작용은 증가되는 것으로 보여진다. 근방추 구심성 피드백(feedback) 역시 동시냅스 억제를 통해서 조절될 수 있다. 따라서 전시냅스와 동시냅스 억제는 보행 시작 중에 반사의 기전을 조절하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 반사의 조절 기전은 알파(alpha) 운동 신경원의 흥분도와 더불어 상위 척수의 기전들을 통해서 영향받고 조절된다. 경직성 마비 환자들은 초기의 입각기, 혹은 유각기 중에 손상된 비정상 비복근 H-reflex 조절기전을 보여준다. 이러한 비정상적인 조절기전은 발바닥의 말초신경을 자극함으로써 부분적으로 회복될 수 있다.

  • This paper proposes a new SSHG(Sag/swell and Harmonic Generator) injecting voltage by using series inverter. The proposed SSHG composes series inverter, DC capacitor as energy storage, rectifier and voltage clamp circuit. This SSHG is designed to generate typical power disturbances, such as voltage sag/swell, over/under voltage and voltage flicker. Also it is designed to generate unexpected voltage phase jumping waveform by controlling the series inverter. In this paper, three kinds of control methods for the proposed 2MVA SSHG are given. Typical voltage sag and swell waveforms are implemented by adopting simple control method. Also the voltage flicker is generated by changing the amplitude of the injected voltage in random. Owing to the limited bandwith of the proposed SSHG, high frequency transient waveforms can be obtained by using the open loop control. The simulation and experimental results are given to verify the operation of the proposed SSHG, Finally, conclusions are given.

A Precise Heave Determination System Using Time-Differenced GNSS Carrier Phase Measurements

  • In this study, a system that precisely determines the heave of ship hull was designed using time-differenced GNSS carrier phase measurement, and the performance was examined. First, a technique that calculates precise position relative to the original position based on TDCP measurement for point positioning using only one receiver was implemented. Second, to eliminate the long-cycle drift error occurring due to the measurement error that has not been completely removed by time-differencing, an easily implementable high-pass filter was designed, and the optimum coefficient was determined through an experiment. In a static experiment based on the precise heave measurement system implemented using low-cost commercial GNSS receiver and PC, the heave could be measured with a precision of 2 cm standard deviation. In addition, in a dynamic experiment where it moved up and down with an amplitude of 48 cm and a cycle of 20 seconds, precise heave without drift error could be determined. The system proposed in this study can be easily used for many applications, such as the altitude correction of fish detection radar.

  • 교류 전동기의 가변속 구동에 있어서, 가변전압, 가변주파수 방식의 PWN 인버터가 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 3상 PWN 인버터의 출력 파형에 있어서 특정고조파제거를 위한 방법이 소개되며 그 타당성을 입증하기 위해 실험결과는 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교·검토된다. 제안된 PWN 방식은 유도 전동기뿐만 아니라 전압 조정기, UPS 등에도 사용 가능하다.

High-Order QAM에 적합한 반송파 동기회로 설계 - I부. 넓은 주파수 포착범위를 가지는 위상검출기 설계 및 분석 (Design of Carrier Recovery Circuit for High-Order QAM - Part I : Design and Analysis of Phase Detector with Large Frequency Acquisition Range)

  • 본 논문에서는 High-Order QAM(Quandrature Amplitude Modulation)을 적용하는 모뎀에서 강인하고 넓은 범위의 주파수 포착 범위를 가지는 극성판단(Polarity Decision) 반송파 동기용 PD(Phase Detector) 알고리즘을 제안하고 이에 대한 평균 출력특성(S-curve)과 분산특성을 수학적으로 유도하여 기존의 DD(Decision Directed)방식과 비교 분석한다. 기존의 DD 방식의 선형영역은 256 QAM의 경우 $3.5^{\circ}{\sim}3.5^{\circ}$ 이었으나 제안한 알고리즘의 선형영역은 ${\gamma}-17.9$에서 $36^{\circ}{\sim}36^{\circ}$ 의 넓은 구간을 가진다. 또한 기존의 DD 방식에서는 256 QAM의 주파수 오프셋 포착 성능이 ${\pm}10\;KHz$ 이하였다. 이는 아날로그 front-end 회로에서 주파수 오프셋이 일반적으로 ${\pm}100\;KHz$ 정도까지 줄어들 수 잇는 것을 감안하면 AFC(Automatic Frequency Control) 또는 반송파 복구를 위한 보조적인 위상검출회로가 필요하게 됨을 의미한다. 그러나 제안된 극성판단 반송파 동기 알고리즘을 사용하면 보조적인 회로의 도움없이 SNR = 30 dB에서 최대 ${\pm}300\;KHz$의 주파수 오프셋까지도 포착 가능하다.

  • We have development the dimming controller using the ac chopper technique. The ac chopper change the amplitude of the input source voltage with the unchanged its frequency. The conventional dimming controller is operated by controlling voltage phase and is consist of the triac. It has a bad characteristic about a current THD and a power factor. But the dimming controller using the at chopper technique has a low current THD and a good power factor. The developed dimming controller is consist of the MOSFET and the low pass filter. The system is operated by the variation circuit of the input source voltage and the microprocessor.

실린더를 이용한 서보 밸브 대역폭 주파수의 측정에 관한 연구 (Study on Bandwidth Frequency of Servovalve based on Metering Cylinder)

  • In this study, a metering cylinder was constructed, and the velocity obtained from the linear velocity transducer (LVT) of the cylinder piston was used to evaluate the dynamic performance of an electro-hydraulic servovalve. Frequency response experiments involving the spool displacement and piston velocity (LVT signal) were conducted with different input signal amplitudes, hydraulic pipe diameters, and supply pressures. The spool displacement signal accurately reflected the performance of the servovalve. Meanwhile, the -3 dB bandwidth frequency of the LVT signal was similar to the spool displacement signal, except for a small-amplitude input signal, and the $-90^{\circ}$ phase lag bandwidth frequency showed some differences.

미지의 상수 오프셋을 갖는 삼각함수 외란 추정을 위한 모델기반 저차 외란 관측기 설계 (Design of a Model-Based Low-Order Disturbance Observer to Estimate a Sinusoidal Disturbance with Unknown Constant Offset)

  • In practical control systems differences between nominal and real systems arise from internal uncertainties and/or external disturbances. This paper presents a model-based low-order disturbance observer for a sinusoidal disturbance with unknown constant offset. By using the disturbance model of a biased harmonic signal, the proposed method can successfully estimate the biased sinusoidal disturbance with unknown amplitude and phase but known frequency. At the first stage of the observer design, a model-based disturbance observer is designed when all the system states are measurable. Next, a sufficient condition is presented for the proposed observer to estimate the sinusoidal disturbance with a minimal-order additional dynamics using only output measurement. Comparative computer simulations are performed to test the performance of the proposed method. The simulation results show the enhanced performance of the proposed disturbance observer.
