스마트워크 환경하의 업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing Factors of Smart-Work Performance)

  • This study derived research model about the influencing factors of the successful performance of smart work. Research model is composed of four perspectives: technology perspective like system quality and usage level of information technology, interaction perspective like innovational climate, institutional perspective like personnel evaluation, and individual perspective like self-control. This study collected 155 survey data from K public company and M global software company. As a result of data analysis, all of four perspectives influenced smart work performance. Technology perspective had the strongest effect on smart work performance, the second was institution perspective, the third was interaction perspective, and the last was individual perspective. In conclusion, smart work is not an IT project. We have to reconsider the thinking that just only the introduction of cutting-edge IT increases business performance. Smart work project should be pursued in harmony with institution and climate in the organizational perspective and self-control in the personal perspective. Also, to maximize business performance in smart work environment, organizations should strengthen the positive factors and overcome the negative factors.

한국 직업청소년(職業靑少年)과 일반청소년(一般靑少年)의 노동관(勞動觀), 미래관(未來觀) 및 독단주의(獨斷主義)와의 관계 연구 (Attitudes toward Work and Time Perspective and Their Relationship to Dogmatism in Korean Adolescent Vocational and Non-Vocational Trainees)

  • The intention of this study was: 1) to standardize the Korean version of the Dogmatism Scale, 2) to examine whether environmental structure affects value systems such as attitudes toward work, time perspective and the personality dimension of dogmatism in adolescent vocational and non-vocational trainees, 3) to examine relationships between those value systems and group differences in personality characteristics of vocational and non-vocational trainees, 4) to observe whether there are differences between high-dogmatism and low-dogmatism subjects with regard to attitudes toward work and future time perspective. The subjects for the study included 841 adolescent vocational (226) and nonvocational (615) from vocational training centers, schools and universities in Seoul. The instruments used in this study were 1) a questionnaire for attitudes toward work, 2) the Future Time Perspective (FTP) developed by Christiansen and 3) the Dogmatism Scale. The results of the present study indicated that behavior settings or environmental variables such as organization type affect the formation of attitudes and of dogmatism in adolescents. The results also showed that dogmatism relates to future time perspectives. This differs from Rokeach's theoretical statements. Dogmatism in this study was related to time perspective, the relationships were optimistic in emotional areas, long-term in direction and concrete in structure. The inconsistency between the results of the present study and Rokeach's suggests further study. A "Psycho-Environmental Model" for the formation of value systems based on the results of this and earlier research of the author were discussed.

고졸 청년노동자의 노동관에 관한 구조적 분석: 학습동기 매개효과 중심으로 (Structural Analysis of the Perspective on Work of Young Workers with High School Diplomas: Focusing on mediation effect of learning motivation)

  • 이 연구는 고등학교를 졸업하고 현장에서 일하고 있는 청년노동자의 노동관에 영향을 준 진로발달시기의 다양한 요인들을 탐색하고, 그 요인별 영향력을 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구에 활용된 자료는 "한국교육종단연구2005" 패널데이터(panel data)이고, 구체적으로는 7차년도(2011)의 원자료에서 추출한 취업자 303명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 청년노동자들의 노동관은 그들의 진로발달시기에 형성된 자아인식 관련 변인의 사회성자아, 가정환경 관련 변인의 부 학력, 그리고 학습동기인 외재적 학습동기와 내재적 학습동기로부터 영향을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 다만, 외재적 학습동기의 경우 향후 노동에 대해 동기와 가치 부여에 소극적이고 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로발달시기의 자아인식 관련 변인과 가정환경 관련 변인은 학습동기를 매개로 청년노동자의 노동관에 인과관계를 갖고, 영향을 준 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 진로발달시기에 형성된 학습동기는 청년노동자들의 노동관 형성에 매우 의미 있고, 중요한 변인임을 확인하였는 데 의의가 있다.

가족정책의 성 통합적 재구조화: 노동 주체의 관점에 근거한 일과 가족의 양립을 중심으로 (Restructuring the Family Policy from the Gender-integrating Perspective: Reconciling Work and Family life)

  • 본 논문은 성 통합적 관점에서 가족정책의 재구조화에 대한 논의를 전개함으로써 몇 가지 주목할 만한 결론에 도달했다. 첫째는 가족정책의 관점이 노동하는 주체의 관점에 섰을 때 일과 가족 양립의 문제가 특정한 성의 문제가 아닌 보편적 시민의 문제가 된다는 점이다. 즉 허구적 믿음에 근거한 공 사적영역의 분리를(성별구분 없이) 노동하는 주체의 관점에서 통합시킬 때 공적가치인 정의의 문제와 사적가치인 보살핌의 대립이 해소될 수 있다는 것이다. 둘째는 노동주체로서 남성과 여성의 통합성과 현실적 문제로써 여성과 남성의 차이에 근거한 '이해'의 상이함을 반영하기 위해서는 가족정책의 틀은 가족 구성원이 노동하는 장소에 따라 구분해야 한다는 것이다. 셋째는 가족정책의 틀에 따라 가족정책을 가족영역과 시장영역으로 나누었을 때 가족정책의 내용은 가족구성원이 노동권과 가족권을 실현하는데 장애가 되는 요인들을 완화 제거하는 정책이어야 한다는 것이다. 마지막으로 가족정책의 방향은 여성과 남성이 생계부양과 보살핌의 책무를 함께 나누게 하는 것이다. 이는 노동하는 주체의 관점에서 허구적인 공 사적영역의 분리를 통합시켜 내는 것으로, 궁극적인 가족정책의 지향점이라고 할 수 있는 보편적 일과 가족 양립을 실현하는 길이라는 것이다.

  • Purpose - The main purpose of this study is to investigate service industry employee' perceptions of Work-Life-Balance (WLB) and the influences of these perceptions on their overall Quality of Life (QOL). The study hypothesizes that employees' overall Quality of Life is influenced by Work-Life-Balance. Design/methodology/approach - The target population for this research consisted of service industry employees. The data was collected using the online-survey method and 449 usable responses were analyzed using AMOS program. Findings - The results indicated that psychological environment and family environment positively affected overall quality of life each, and work environment negatively influenced on overall quality of life. Research implications or Originality - Despite the importance of Work-Life-Balance (WLB), most of previous studies have investigated WLB from company perspective while limited research has examined employees' WLB perceptions. The findings of this study enrich knowledge of WLB from employee perspective especially in service industry.

Finding Pluto: An Analytics-Based Approach to Safety Data Ecosystems

  • This review article addresses the role of safety professionals in the diffusion strategies for predictive analytics for safety performance. The article explores the models, definitions, roles, and relationships of safety professionals in knowledge application, access, management, and leadership in safety analytics. The article addresses challenges safety professionals face when integrating safety analytics in organizational settings in four operations areas: application, technology, management, and strategy. A review of existing conventional safety data sources (safety data, internal data, external data, and context data) is briefly summarized as a baseline. For each of these data sources, the article points out how emerging analytic data sources (such as Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things) broaden and challenge the scope of work and operational roles throughout an organization. In doing so, the article defines four perspectives on the integration of predictive analytics into organizational safety practice: the programmatic perspective, the technological perspective, the sociocultural perspective, and knowledge-organization perspective. The article posits a four-level, organizational knowledge-skills-abilities matrix for analytics integration, indicating key organizational capacities needed for each area. The work shows the benefits of organizational alignment, clear stakeholder categorization, and the ability to predict future safety performance.

  • 이 연구는 일본 최고(最古) 사회복지 전문지인 "월간복지"를 자료삼아 "일본에서의 '사회복지'는 용어상 어떤 상황에서 무슨 내용으로 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화가 상호작용하며 변천했는가?"라는 연구문제를 사회사 관점으로 규명하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 잡지의 이름에 따라 "자선", "사회와구제", "사회사업", "후생문제", 속 "사회사업", "월간복지"여섯 시기로 구분하여 '엄중한 자혜구제 선언', '구제사업과 사회사업가', '사회사업의 전문성과 과학성', '국민생활 재건과 후생시설의 지역화', '생활보호와 사회사업의 새 얼굴', '지역사회조직활동과 모금활동' 따위의 주제를 이끌어내어 해석하였다. 특별히 일본에서는 사회사업이 Social Work의 번역어 이외에도 여러 사업을 포괄하는 총괄어로 사용되고 있음을 밝혔고, 한국에서도 이와 같은 용례의 전개과정에 관한 연구가 필요함을 강조하였다.

The Antecedent of Employee Engagement and Its Effect on Innovative Behavior: A Religiosity-Based Social Exchange Theory (SET) Perspective

  • This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity, spiritual leadership, and work-life balance and its impact on innovative behavior through the mediating effect of employee engagement on the state-owned sharia bank of Central Java Province. The total sample of this study is 226 respondents taken from state-owned sharia bank in 6 Regencies/Cities in the former Karisedenan of Central Java. Samples are taken using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique is using the division of regions based on clusters (cities) and is carried out using a purposive sampling method. The results indicate that the indirect influence of all independent variables on innovative behavior through the mediating effect of employee engagement is found to be significant. This study views employee engagement from the perspective of religiosity-based social exchange theory so that religious values in the interaction relationship can be fairly applied and respected by the employees of the state-owned sharia bank. Managers can socialize the importance of spirit behavior to employees so that it can be their everyday attitude and becomes their guide for work. Leaders can become role models in straightening intentions while working as well as conditioning the conscience to always think positively at work by strengthening work engagement in sharia banking institutions.

개인, 기업, 사회적 지원 관점에서 스마트워크 효용 탐색 (Exploration of Smart Work Benefits from the Perspectives of Individual, Firm, and Social Support)

  • In this paper, we attempted to theorize the multi-faceted impacts of smart work on economic activities. In this vein, we adopted socio-economic perspective which includes individual, firm, and social support aspects, and explored the variables related to the quality of life among them. First, smart work patterns are categorized as telework, mobile office, teleconferencing, and social collaboration. And relevant variables are extracted with reference to industrial cases and relevant literatures which investigated economic impacts of digital convergence. Next, with the data collected from experts, following delphi method, validation of variables and explorations of significant factors affecting quality of life were conducted by adopting stepwise regression method. The distinguishing traits of this research are two-folds. The one is the investigation of social support and quality of life aspects of smart work, which has been relatively limited in the digital convergence research field. The other is the comparative analysis of smart work advantages by distinguishing individual and firm aspects separately. The result offers useful insights for socio-economic perspective researches on digital convergence application area.

코로나 19 상황에서 고객의 셀프서비스기술에 대한 귀인 경향이 패스트푸드점 재방문의도에 미치는 영향: 그림자노동의 관점을 중심으로 (The Effect of Customer's Attribution Tendency Toward Self-Service Technology on the Intention to Revisit Fast-Food Restaurants in the COVID-19 Situation: Focused on Shadow Work Perspective)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine whether customers' shadow work and risk perception have an impact on revisit intention to the fast-food restaurant, with mediating role of different types of attribution tendencies. We also added perceived unfairness in the research model, in order to verify its mediating effect on the relationship between attribution tendencies and revisit intention. Design/methodology/approach Applying the shadow work perspective and attribution theory, we designed a research model to confirm the hypotheses. After collecting the data from 331 customers who have used self-service technology in a fast-food restaurant, we conducted an analysis of measurement model and structural model by using Smart-PLS 3.0. Findings This study confirmed that Forced Use of self-service technology can enhance the tendency of dispositional attribution which would negatively affect perceived unfairness and revisit intention. On the other hand, affective risk perception was proven to affect situational attribution, which positively affects revisit intention.
