Service Quality, Value and Satisfaction in University Job Fair

  • This paper examines the casual relations among service quality, perceived value and satisfaction from the perspective of Job Fair attendees. Numerous studies have been conducted in the field of perceived value and satisfaction. This work would be the mere contribution in the literature development but surely contribute to the better development of service providing sector to create better quality, value and satisfaction. A framework suggested that personal service, touristic attractiveness and physical environments were turned out to affect positively on the perceived value and satisfaction. The service providers should concentrate on developing the issues.

The Characteristics of Family Financial Well-being Types (가계재정복지유형의 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research was to categorize the type of family financial well-being based on objective and subjective dimension. And this study was intended to explore the relations not only those types and the demographic characteristics but also those types and family subsystem; personal subsystem and managerial subsystem. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The type of family financial well-being were categorized as ‘Adequated type’, ‘Dissatisfying type’, ‘Satisfying type’, and ‘Unadequated type’. 2. The objective variables effect the family financial well-being rather then subjective variables. 3. The family cohesion, adjustment and communication pattern and intentional managing efforts increase the family financial well-being.

  • Comparative study was conducted on the Human Resouces Management Practices between U.S.A. and Japan with reference to their socio-cultural tradition and environments. Special attention were given to those topics as prevailing value system in both country underlying human and organizational behavior, authority and responsiblility taking manner, inter-personal and social relations within conporate entity and society at large, and finally the pattern of individual involvement to the organization. The results clearly revealed that the sovio-cultural enviornmentsin respective country functions as the major influencing attributes in the formulation of current management practices.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the stress of remarried elderly in their remarried life. There were 10 remarried elderly respondents. The data was collected by in-depth personal interview. Focusing on the situation of remarried family life the remarried elderly perceived various stress. Those were the stress from the status of remarried person and the stress from relations with their own children/ new spouse/ new spouse's children/ ex-spouse and ex-kin/ sibling and relatives and friends. The results of this study could be a useful material for elderly's remarriage preparation program.

  • This study focuses on what factors influence the job satisfaction of KNR. For solving this research question, three important factors affected job satisfaction are selected through literature review : harmonics communication, fairness of personnel management, satisfaction of human relations. This study tests that the cognitive degrees of above factors are defending on different personal characteristics, and also searches the relationship between job satisfaction and the three factors. This study makes the hypothesis based on a conceptual model elicited from the outline of the previous study. To verify the hypothesis, using SPSS WIN 7.5 package is practiced.

Causal Analysis of Education Function Space Parameters of University Dormitory (대학기숙사 교육기능공간의 매개변수를 통한 인과분석)

  • This study aims to examine the educational function space of university dormitories at local universities with corridor centered structure in Honam area regions based on direct and indirect parameters on the whole satisfaction of users in residential environment factors and personal characteristics. First, according to relations among parameters, educational and cultural activities of four major activities within the dormitory had indirect influences on social activities, eating and sleeping activities had no direct influence on other activities. And social activity had direct influence on the general satisfaction as an important parameter and educational and cultural activities had indirect influence on the whole satisfaction through social activities. Detailed results show that, in the first educational activities directly affecting the lighting and air conditioning facilities (0.22), safety (0.326), Territoriality (0.327), the space density (-0.167), directions (-0.166) and yeohyang having personal characteristics and the safety of the second cultural activities (0.183), Territoriality (0.361), Aesthetics (-0.13) and the personal characteristics Sex (-0.179), the direct effect, third, and erosion has a direct impact on activity The flexibility of the space factor (-0.128) and Territoriality (0.38) and the personal characteristics grade (0.172), respectively. Fourth in social activities directly affecting the pathfinding (-0.104), and parameter, education (0.388) and cultural activities (0.445), and some of the factors affecting the indirect lighting and air conditioning facilities, safety, and Territoriality, the space density, directions, grade, they could influence through educational activities to be analyzed. That is, territoriality in educational function space is the important factor that users react very sensitively in educational, eating and sleeping activities and educational function space must secure area and division considering personal and public use as the space accommodating activity which is lacking in unit residential space. Accordingly, the safety of educational function space in university dormitory is considered as the fundamental safety matter on the fire prevention, hygiene and cleanness for users in the satisfaction of educational and cultural activities.

An Analysis Study on Stressor Experienced by Emergency Medical Technology Students during Clinical Practice (응급구조과 학생이 임상실습시 경험하는 스트레스요인에 관한 분석)

  • This study is attempted for the purpose of clearly understanding the stressors which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice, giving guidance in desirable direction and improvement of clinical practice, and giving the basic materials so that emergency medical technology students may practice effectively. The design of this study was a descriptive survey. The subjects in this study were 59 emergency medical technology students who were 2nd grade in D college. The collection of questionnaires took 3 days from September 1, 1999 to September 3, 1999. This researcher explained the purpose of this study to students, after they agreed to this survey, the researcher gave the questionnaire to them, had them answer the questions and collected the questionnaire immediately. Data analysis included percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA trough SPSS computer program. The results of this study are, briefly, as follows; 1. In 'satisfaction-degree to specializing in the science of emergency medical technology' 27.1% of the subjects is revealed as 'satisfied' and in 'satisfaction-degree of clinical practice', 8.5% of the subjects is revealed as 'satisfied'. 2. Viewed from each of the categories of stressors which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice, 'ideals and values' is the category in which emergency medical technology students experience most severe stress at a mean 3.25 and 'personal relations' is the category in which emergency medical technology students experience mildest stress at a mean 2.82. The total stress degree mean is 3.06, which emergency medical technology students experience during clinical practice is revealed as 'moderate' stress. 3. Considering the stressor involved in each category, the results are as follows; (1) In 'environment', 'orientation to the hospital before clinical practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a menu 3.44. (2) In 'personal relations', 'relations with doctor and nurse' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.59. (3) In 'role', 'unilaterally when their role is seems to be obscure' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 4.10. (4) In 'ideals and values', 'difference between college practice and hospital practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.88. (5) In 'activity', 'repetition of simple and functional work during clinical practice' is revealed as the most severe stressor at a mean 3.98. (6) In 'total stress factors', 'unilaterally when their role is seems to be obscure' is revealed as the most severe stress factor at a mean 4.10 and 'relations with comrade students' is revealed as the stress factor causing mildest stress at a mean 2.20. 4. Considering the relationship between the categories of stressors and the general characteristics, the results are as follows; (1) 'Environment' is revealed as being positively correlated with 'satisfaction degree of clinical practice'(F=3.53, p= .0359). (2) 'Ideals and values' is revealed as being correlated with 'sex'(t=-2.31, p= .0240) and 'satisfaction degree of clinical practice'(F=3.31, p= .0438).

The relationship between the character, interpersonal relations, and adjustment to a college life of nursing students (간호대학생의 인성, 대인관계, 대학생활 적응과의 관계)

  • This research investigated the relationship among character, interpersonal relations, and adjustment to college life of university nursing students as well as to identify the factors that affect college life. A self-report type survey was conducted on a total of 180 nursing students in a city between May 30 and Jun 09 of 2016. According to our findings, the relationship between the adjustment to school life and character (r=.506, p<.001) as well as between the adjustment to school life and personal relations (r=.585, p<.001) showed a significantly positive correlation in the medium level. With improved personal relationships and with higher level of character, nursing students appear to more successfully adjust to college life. It was also found that an explanatory power for the adjustment to college life of these factors is 46% (F=75.28, p<.001). The study results indicate that it is necessary to develop a program that can improve interpersonal relationships and character of nursing students in order to enhance the adjustment process to college life.

Determining the Relationship among Organizational Commitment, Occupational Stress, and Interpersonal Relations according to Adult Attachment Styles of Clinical Dental Hygienists

  • Background: This study aimed to identify the types of adult attachment and determine the relationship between adult attachment and job factors in dental hygienists. Ultimately, it was necessary to identify the need for a secure attachment to improve the quality of clinical dental hygienist's services. Methods: Data of 454 clinical dental hygienists working in dental hospitals or clinics were collected. The research tools consisted of items related to the general and work characteristics of dental hygienists (9 items), adult attachment styles (36 items), organizational commitments (12 items), occupational stress (15 items), and interpersonal relations (18 items). Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of each tool was ${\geq}0.7$. Results: Most of the participants had fearful attachment styles, followed by dismissing-avoidance, security, and preoccupation. Security was the highest level of organizational commitment according to the adult attachment style, although the differences of the levels were insignificant. For occupational stress, preoccupation was the highest, followed by fearful, security, and dismissing-avoidance, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). For interpersonal relations, security was the highest, followed by preoccupation, dismissing-avoidance, and fearful in order, and the differences were significant (p<0.001). Conclusion: Job stress and interpersonal relation ability according to the adult attachment style of clinical dental hygienists had significant results. Thus, the development of attachment improvement programs by personal style, development of differentiated clinical education and its application, and improvements in the adult attachment styles of clinical dental hygienists would be required rather than simply presenting the needs to collectively improvement the working environment.
