The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of the teachers of the gifted and to identify present status of the training and employment system of the teachers of the gifted in Korea. The characteristics of the teachers of the gifted were explained in three areas of philosophical understanding, experts' characteristics, and personal characteristics. This paper presented several suggestions to improve a system of employment and training of teachers of the gifted in Korea, and they were as follows: - To enhance the quality of training program. The training program should include various activities, for example, discussion, field trip, making a product, seminar, workshop, practice in various teaching models, etc., to foster creative and higher-order thinking abilities. - To prepare various kinds of training programs in consideration of various teachers' needs. - To provide a training successively. The 60 hours' training is not sufficient to be a good and effective teacher of the gifted. Successive training is needed. - To prepare various incentives which make many competent teachers to take part in gifted education. - To improve process to select and to employ the teacher of the gifted. Many teachers want an more open and strict scrutiny process to select and employ the teachers of the gifted.
The research analyzed to verify that self-support center employee's internal marketing, social exchange relation and personal characteristic effect on self-support program which is essential to provide job and to progress self-support ability for workable low-income group. The research used questionnaires of 156 substances to analyze in self-support center employee within Gwang-Ju area. The questionnaire was analyzed using statistical package for the social sciences(SPSS) program and it used factor analysis, reliability analysis and especially hierarchical regression multiple analysis for hypothesis test. The result of research that self-support center employee's education, training, delegation of authority and job efficacy effect on maximize business result through mediated effect of emotional immersion. Therefore, the research proposes improvement of self-support center employee's education, training, delegation of authority and job efficacy.
This study examines the effect of goal setting training during psychological skills training on improving the happiness of actors using a single case study design. The subject of this study was a famous actor in his late 40s who had received personal psychological training from this researcher, a sports psychological counselor, to strengthen his psychological capabilities. The goal setting training program consisted of 8 sessions of 60~90 minutes each. For the purpose of this study, pre and post tests were conducted using the Oxford Happiness Scale developed by Argyle (2005), and in-depth interviews were also conducted. As a result, goal setting training had a positive effect on improving the happiness of actors.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the elementary teachers' professional performance about science teaching practice according to their personal variables. For this study, professional performance test was modified based on Woo's 'framework for progression and learning in the professional development of elementary teachers' science teaching practice', which included 6 elements such as 'lesson plans', 'creating the learning environment', 'inquiry', 'conceptual understanding', 'practical application', and 'assessment'. And then it conducted to 79 elementary teachers. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS. The results of this study were as follows: There was statistically significant difference in the sub-domains of professional performance according to teachers' career, experience of training program, deciding method of exclusive subject. But there was almost no significant difference in other personal variables, such as gender, major, etc. Findings suggest that there are needs of further study about interaction effects of personal variables affecting teachers' professional performance of science teaching practice in detail.
This paper is intended on providing solutions for overcoming constraints to the transmission of the Important Intangible Cultural Properties related to dance successors. For accommodating this approach, six career dancers, from the Dance Society of the Important Intangible Cultural Properties, were invited as the research participants for this study. The In-Depth Interviews and the classification analysis are used as a way of structuring and understanding my observations about these tasks. These interviews have also been verified by an expert group. In conclusion, this study identifies numerous obstacles which can restrict the transmission of the Important Intangible Cultural Properties are as follows; first, the dance successors are constrained by personal reasons such as physical strength and mutual understanding at home; second, the dance successors are affected by the structural constraint of programs such as required time for the completion of training, efficiency of the training program and the educational environment; third, the dance successors are constrained by personal relations such as the relationship between themselves, or between the dance successors and holders of Important Intangible Cultural Properties. Suggested solutions for overcoming the constraints to training programs are; building small sized training centers throughout the country; making training time realistic for individuals; and making programs to train the dancers as well as making it sociable.
Forming health care management model in small-scale enterprises was the purpose of this study. For the purpose, we tried to investigate the characteristics of small-scale enterprises and analyzed the pattern of their health care management. The results are as follow: 1. The strength of health managing agency and technical supporting program lies in team approach by specialized manpower. However, if the liaison between each part of the organization is not smooth, the overall management will be very difficult. 2. Small scale enterprises are characterized by their short life after the establishment, use of rental building, lack of welfare facilities, weakness in sanitary management and aggregation of factories of similar type of industry. Because of these characteristics, it is very difficult to solve problem basically, such as improvement of working environment. Therefore, it is important to focus on health education and community based approach. 3. Many workers in small-scale factories are in middle and old age. They have health problems mainly related to personal habits. Implementation of an appropriate health promotion program is needed. 4. The number of workplaces, which should be managed by health managing agent. is increasing rapidly. But the number of health managing agent is limited. In the aspect of the requirement of manpower and equipment, training personal agent is more urgent than founding institutional agent. 5. The uniform method of health management hampers the choice of employer and workers. The types of provision of health management should be diversified. 6. For an efficient management, a frequent visit of personal agent and the following referral to a specialist should be done. The specialists in charge of secondary management are from the field of occupational medicine, occupational hygiene, ergonomics, etc. 7. The health management of small-scale facilities should have six components. They are community-based approach, multi-disciplinary cooperative system, program based on the need of recipient, forming partnership of employer and worker, change of lifestyle, and evidence-based program.

This study investigated to provide basic data for infection control education on new infectious diseases by confirming the level of knowledge, training status, stress, and need for training on new infectious diseases for 119 emergency medical technicians (EMT). This data collection period was a total of 39 days from August 10 to September 18, 2022, and a total of 105 copies were collected. The analysis of this study used the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the study, among the 119 paramedics, the gender of the EMT was 54 men (51.4%) and 51 women (48.6%), with more men than women, with 47 people in their 20s (44.8%) and those in their 30s or older. There were 58 people (55.2%), most of whom were in their 30s or older. The highest total work experience was 3 to 5 years (37 people (35.2%)). In the pandemic situation, an attempt was made to check the education status of 119 paramedics on COVID-19 and the need for education on new infectious diseases. As a result of the study, the status of education on COVID-19 was insufficient. The demand for education on new infectious diseases was found to be high. Among 119 emergency responders who are frequently exposed to new infectious diseases, theoretical and practical training in personal protective equipment, stress, including theoretical training, is needed. A theoretical and practical education program on new infectious diseases and personal protective equipment should be developed as a subject for college students before becoming EMT.

Purpose : This study investigates the effects of the application of traditional occupational therapy and the korean computerized cognition training system on the cognitive function and performance of daily activities of stroke patients with cognitive impairment. Methods : From inpatients referred for rehabilitation treatment at L Rehabilitation Hospital located in Busan, 20 patients diagnosed with stroke from April 05. 2021 to May 02. 2021 (study period) were selected, They were divided into two, an experimental group consisting of 10 subjects who underwent a computerized cognitive rehabilitation program and traditional occupational therapy in combination and a control group of 10 subjects who underwent traditional occupational therapy alone. In order to measure the cognitive function of the subjects before the intervention, two assessment tests were conducted: a Neurobehavioral Cognitive Status Examination (NCSE), which evaluates stroke-related cognitive ability, and a Functional Independence Measure (FIM) test, which evaluates life activities. Then, both groups received a total of 20 training sessions at 30 minutes per session, five times a week for four weeks. Results : A statistically significant difference was found in cognitive function between before and after the cognitive training for both the experimental group and the control group. For the FIM scores, statistically significant differences were observed after intervention in the categories of handling personal matters and social cognition, and in the total score. The average scores of the remaining items also improved. Conclusion : The results of this study showed that both the computerized cognition rehabilitation program and the traditional occupational therapy had a positive effect on the improvement of cognitive function in stroke patients.

Purpose: To study the internal psychological conflicts among nursing students during an infection control protocol carried out in the hospital by measuring their observation skills and performance during clinical training. Methods: Investigation of both pre- and post- infection control was conducted using questionnaires for clinical infection practices. We identified and evaluated the students' observation skills, clinical performance, clinical perception, and internal conflict regarding clinical infection control. We also interviewed the students as part of our study. Results: Among parameters such as clinical performance, observation skills, clinical perception, and internal conflict, the average observation skills (t=5.49, p<.001) were significantly lower, while internal conflict among students (t=-7.23, p<.001) was significantly higher than expected prior to clinical training. Generally, there was a negative correlation between observation skills and internal conflict in every aspect of infection control practice (r=-.281, p=.031). Internal conflict was significantly higher than expected in the context of hand hygiene (t=-2.135, p=.037), personal hygiene (t=-3.48, p=.002), and ventilator management (t=-3.69, p<.001). Clinical performance of students in the context of hand hygiene (t=4.69, p<.001), personal hygiene (t=2.06, p=.044), and ventilator management (t=2.68, p<.001) was significantly lower than expected prior to clinical training. Conclusion: Our findings showed that internal psychological conflict is higher when infection control practices are observed or performed to a lesser degree. Therefore, reinforcing education regarding infection control among students, such as developing a systematic program, or consecutive training and monitoring, is suggested.
A new awareness on design in economy and business domain has shifted the focus of design education from the description and presentation to the creativity. This contextual change raises new awareness on the importance of the design management training program. The goal of this research is to suggest a program of design management training program in Korean context. For the purpose, the history of design management activity is briefly reviewed. And then the curriculum between Korean design schools and design management schools abroad is reviewed. The result shows that the design management schools abroad emphasize leadership based on practicality and the program is also ran by School of Business Management. The curriculum consists of leadership program and creativity program. The leadership comprises individual, personal, and collaborative. The leadership takes the role of catalyst in the organization to draw a creativity and raise it. So both leadership and creativity are inseparable. The result of creativity, however, differ from one another based on individual's capacity, procedure, and social context. Thus, it is important to develop a design management program which considers individual, social context, as well as economy and business domain.
