First-mile과 Last-mile을 고려한 자유 주차방식(Free-floating) 개인형 이동장치 공유 서비스 권역 및 운영대수 결정 (Determination of Service Areas and Operating Numbers for Free-floating Personal Mobility Sharing Services)

  • 개인형 이동장치에 대한 관심은 스마트 모빌리티 서비스에서 first-mile 및 last-mile 중요성이 증가함에 따라 높아졌다. 본 연구는 first-mile 및 last-mile 문제를 해결하기 위해 자유 주차방식(free-floating) 개인형 이동장치 공유 서비스 권역 설정 방법론을 제시하고 선정된 공유 서비스 권역을 대상으로 최적의 개인형 이동장치 운영 대수 결정을 목표로 한다. 인구 데이터, 스마트 카드 데이터, 건물 데이터를 사용하였으며, 개인형 이동장치 데이터를 이용하여 연령별, 거리별 이용률을 반영하여 잠재수요를 추정하였다. 추정된 잠재수요와 함께 대중교통 정류장과 건물의 위치를 기반으로 개인형 이동장치 공유 서비스 권역을 설정하였다. 인천 영종도를 대상지로 제안된 방법론을 적용한 결과 거주지가 밀집된 지역과 여행객들이 많은 해변 근처가 개인형 이동장치 공유 서비스 권역으로 선정되었다. 거주지가 밀집된 서비스 권역의 개인형 이동장치 운영대수는 1,022대, 해변 근처 서비스 권역의 개인형 이동장치 운영대수는 269대로 결정되었다.

  • This study developed seven assumptions to demonstrate the effect of personal innovation, social influences, service quality, mobility and accessibility on perceived usability, perceived convenience use and use intention using a technology acceptance model developed by Davis(1989), and the results are presented as follows: First, the assumption that personal innovation and service quality of mobile banking service will influence the perceived usability was adopted while the assumption that social influences will affect the perceived usability was rejected. Second, the assumption that mobility and accessibility of mobile banking services will influence the perceived convenient use was selected. Third, the assumption that the perceived usability of mobile banking service will influence use intention was rejected while the assumption that the convenient use will influence use intention was adopted. This study suggests that as personal innovation, service quality, mobility and accessibility have a significant influence on use of mobile banking, service providers should pay more attention to development of security programs and diversification of contents.

Q방법론을 적용한 공유 모빌리티 서비스의 이용자 유형 연구 및 모빌리티 서비스 UX 디자인 전략 (User Types of Shared Mobility Services and UX Design Strategies: an application of Q Methodology)

  • MaaS의 영향력이 주목받고 있는 가운데, 공유 모빌리티를 중심으로 모빌리티 서비스 시장이 급격히 성장하고 있다. 시장 선점을 위해서 현재 초기 확산단계에 있는 퍼스널 모빌리티 서비스 이용자의 인식과 경험을 파악하고, 향후 확장될 시장의 잠재 소비자들의 특성을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 이 연구는 주관성 연구방법인 Q 방법론을 사용하여 퍼스널 모빌리티 이용자 유형을 분류하고 UX(User experience) 전략을 수립하고자 하였다. 제품 및 서비스 특성과 이용자의 개인적 특성 요소들을 중심으로 41개 구성하고, 잠재 사용자와 실사용자를 포함하는 30명의 P샘플을 대상으로 데이터를 수집하였다. QUANL 소프트웨어를 사용하여 수집한 데이터를 분석하였으며, 그 결과 (1)효율적인 이동 우선형(Mobility Efficiency), (2)경계하는 안전추구형(Safety First), (3)합리적인 여가활용형(Rational Utilization), (4)호기심 많은 재미추구형(Sheer Riding Pleasure)의 네 가지 심성 모형이 도출되었다.

교통약자를 위한 전동 이동 보조기기 안전 경로 서비스의 개발과 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Safe Route Service of Electric Personal Assistive Mobility Devices for the Mobility Impaired People)

  • 본 연구는 최근 이동권 개선을 위해 교통약자들을 중심으로 이용되고 있는 전동 이동 보조기기의 안전 경로를 제공하는 서비스를 개발하고 평가하였다. 부산광역시에 거주하는 교통약자들과 관련 기관 종사자(부산광역시 내 장애인 자립 생활센터, 장애인 협회 정회원, 전동 이동 보조기기 수리기사, 활동 보조사)들과의 설문을 통해 전동 이동 보조기기의 이동에 영향을 미치는 13종의 요인을 도출하였다. 각각의 요인들에 안전성 점수를 부여하고 현장에서 수집된 데이터로 객체 인식 AI 모델을 학습시켜 해당 요인들을 판별한 후, 최적경로 탐색 알고리즘을 통해 전동 이동 보조기기 경로 안내 서비스를 개발하였다. 동일한 출도착 경로를 대상으로 T-map에서 제공하는 일반 경로와 본 연구의 추천 경로를 비교한 결과, 일반 경로에서는 전동 이동 보조기기의 주행에 방해가 되거나 승차감을 불편하게 하는 장애물이 많았고 가파른 경사로 인해 이동이 불편했지만, 본 연구의 추천 경로에서는 상대적으로 장애물이 적었고 경사도 완만하여 전동 이동 보조기기의 주행에 무리가 없었다. 향후 연구에서는 전동 이동 보조기기 이용자의 실시간 위치를 기반으로 경로 안내 서비스를 구현하고 다수의 이용자를 대상으로 현장 실증테스트를 진행하여 사회적 수용성 평가 및 검증을 수행할 필요가 있다.

Service Profile Replication Scheme with Local Anchor for Next Generation Personal Communication Networks

  • It is expected that per-user customized services are widely used in next generation Personal Communication Network. To provide personalized services for each call, per-user service profiles are frequently referenced and signaling traffic is considerably large. Since the service calls are requested from the places where user stays, we can expect that the traffic is localized. In this paper, we propose a new service profile replication scheme, named Follow-Me Replication with local Anchor (FMRA). By replicating user's service profile in a user-specific location area, local anchor of each region, the signaling traffic for call and mobility can be distributed to local network. We compared the performance of the FMRA with two typical schemes: Intelligent Network-based !Central scheme and IMT-2000 based full replication scheme, as we refer it to Follow-Me Replication Unconditional (FMRU). Performance results indicate that FMRA lies between Central and FMRU schemes according to call to mobility ratio, and we identified the efficient ranges of CMR for FMRA depending on the various network parameters.

개인형 이동수단별 헬멧 착용 유무가 두부 손상에 미치는 영향: 일개 권역응급의료센터에 교통사고로 내원한 환자를 대상으로 (The effect of wearing a helmet on head injury risks among personal mobility vehicle riders: A study of patients who visited a regional emergency medical center due to traffic accidents)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors that contribute to head injuries among drivers of personal mobility devices and provide insights into safety perceptions. Methods: This retrospective study analyzed data of 221 trauma patients obtained from electronic medical records and the National Emergency Department Information System (NEDIS) over one year, from August 1, 2021, to July 31, 2022. The patients, all in their 20s and 30s, presented to a single emergency medical center following personal mobility device accidents (motorcycles, electric scooters, and bicycles). Results: Among motorcycle riders, 18.2% were not wearing helmets, while the percentage of e-scooter riders not wearing helmets was 87.5%. Wearing a helmet was associated with a 71.2% lower likelihood of head injuries (OR=0.288, CI=0.163 to 0.509, p=0.000). Of the personal mobility devices, motorcycles had a 0.431 times lower odds ratio for head injury compared to e-scooters (p=0.009), and there was no significant difference between e-scooters and bicycles (p=0.776). Conclusion: It is imperative to strengthen safety regulations by mandating helmet use for riders of personal mobility devices. A system to enhance driving enforcement for electric scooters, which are increasingly popular among young adults, should also be established.

  • In this study, the status of global advanced air mobility (AAM) was investigated to derive information and communications technologies (ICTs) that should be prepared according to directions of domestic AAM development. AAM is an urban air traffic system for moving from city to city by electric vertical take-off and landing or personal aircraft. It is expected to establish a three-dimensional air traffic system that can solve ground traffic congestion caused by the rapid global urbanization. With the full-scale commercialization of AAM solutions, high-density air traffic is expected, and with the advent of the personal air vehicle (PAV), the flight space usage is expected to expand. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a safe AAM service through early research on core ICTs for autonomous flight.

공유 모빌리티 서비스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Factors Affecting Intention to Use Mobility Sharing Service)

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes in our daily lives and in industries as a whole. The most notable change was the spread of the untact culture to minimize face-to-face contact. The spread of the untact culture has changed the use of public transportation. Looking at the results of previous SARS and MERS studies, it was found that as the pandemic spreads, the use of public transportation decreased. Recently, the mobility sharing service is attracting attention as a personalized means of transportation instead of public transportation. Therefore, in this study, the factors affecting the intention to use the mobility sharing service were to be identified by the actual users. In this study, economic benefit, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belonging were set as independent variables based on previous studies. In addition, the relationship between the perceived usefulness and perceived pleasure of these factors of use on intention to use was empirically analyzed through PLS-SEM. As a result of the study, it was found that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and sense of belongingness had a significant effect on intention to use through perceived usefulness and enjoyment. This study was meaningful in that it was verified through the study that economic benefits, convenience, sustainability, and a sense of belongingness were significant variables affecting the intention to use through usefulness and pleasure.

개인용 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 수용저항에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Influencing Factors on User's Adoption Resistance to Personal Cloud Computing Service)

  • Recently, the personal cloud computing service has been being spotlighted as an individual tool of productivity enhancement. However, compared to the rosy forecast, its diffusion rate in the domestic (Korean) market is much slower than expected. In order to find the reason for the slow growth of personal cloud computing service, we attempt to identify influencing factors on user's adoption resistance, while most prior research has focused on the factors affecting its adoption. Based on both the person-technology fit model and the privacy calculus model, we propose technostress and perceived value as key antecedents of adoption resistance. In addition, we identify (1) technical (pace of change and complexity) and personal (self-efficacy) influencing factors on technostress, and (2) beneficial (perceived mobility and perceived availability) and harmful (perceived vulnerability) influencing factors on perceived value. To validate our research model, 133 individual samples were gathered from undergraduate and graduate students who had actual experience of using at least one of personal cloud computing services. The results of the structural equation modeling confirm that both technostress and perceived value have significant effects on adoption resistance, but they have different influencing mechanisms to different types of adoption resistance (indifference, postponement, and rejection). Theoretical and practical contributions are discussed in the conclusion.

  • During a time when cellular systems are being deployed in massive scale worldwide, international roaming is becoming increasingly important. This paper presents UIM (User Identification Module) for mobility support, authentication, and service portability between different mobile systems. We also introduce network model based on PASM(Portable Authentication and Mobility Service Machine) which will support signaling protocol and user information conversions with database for roaming between different mobile networks. Stored data types and elements in UIM, logical data structure and configuration, and registration procedures are described here in the case of DCN (Digital CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) Network System) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications).
