Subjectivity Type Analysis Study of Single-person Households on Meal Kit Products of Food Service Industry (외식업체 밀키트(Meal Kit)상품에 대한 1인가구의 주관적 인식유형 분석연구)

  • This study applies Q methodology that can extract subjective opinion or recognition structure for each single household whose Meal Kit products developed and marketed by catering companies according to the demographic structure that changes socially. Implications were analyzed. As a result of subjective recognition type analysis in this study, four types were derived, and each type was named according to its specificity as follows. Type 1 (N = 6): Appearance Assessment Purchase Type, Type 2 (N = 6): Price Comparison Purchase Type, Type 3 (N = 10): Brand Trust Purchase Type, Type 4 (N = 2) : Easy Cooking Purchase Type was analyzed for each unique feature type. In this study, we analyzed the subjective opinion or recognition structure of single-person households whose Meal Kit products are the main demand groups, and suggested the direction and improvement measures for future food product development and launch for single-person households through the analysis by type. The purpose of this study is to provide academic implications based on the analysis results.

Performance Analysis of Face Recognition by Face Image resolutions using CNN without Backpropergation and LDA (역전파가 제거된 CNN과 LDA를 이용한 얼굴 영상 해상도별 얼굴 인식률 분석)

  • To satisfy the needs of high-level intelligent surveillance system, it shall be able to extract objects and classify to identify precise information on the object. The representative method to identify one's identity is face recognition that is caused a change in the recognition rate according to environmental factors such as illumination, background and angle of camera. In this paper, we analyze the robust face recognition of face image by changing the distance through a variety of experiments. The experiment was conducted by real face images of 1m to 5m. The method of face recognition based on Linear Discriminant Analysis show the best performance in average 75.4% when a large number of face images per one person is used for training. However, face recognition based on Convolution Neural Network show the best performance in average 69.8% when the number of face images per one person is less than five. In addition, rate of low resolution face recognition decrease rapidly when the size of the face image is smaller than $15{\times}15$.

Implementation of Real-time Recognition System for Korean Sign Language (한글 수화의 실시간 인식 시스템의 구현)

  • In this paper, we propose recognition system which tracks the unmarked hand of a person performing sign language in complex background. First of all, we measure entropy for the difference image between continuous frames. Using a color information that is similar to a skin color in candidate region which has high value, we extract hand region only from background image. On the extracted hand region, we detect a contour and recognize sign language by applying improved centroidal profile method. In the experimental results for 6 kinds of sing language movement, unlike existing methods, we can stably recognize sign language in complex background and illumination changes without marker. Also, it shows the recognition rate with more than 95% for person and $90\sim100%$ for each movement at 15 frames/second.

  • In this Paper, we Propose the Low-cost Obstacle Recognition System Utilizing the Ultrasonic Sensor. Developed Obstacle Recognition System can be used to Aid the Visually Impaired Person. The Existence of the Obstacle is Notified to the Person through the Embodied Electronic Vibration Motor. The Timing Difference from the Recognition to the Notification Indicates the Distance to the Obstacle. Pulsed Ultrasonic Signal Controlled by MCU is Utilized and the Reflected Pulse through the Obstacle gives the Developed System the Existence of the Obstacle and the Distance to the Object. Pulse is sent Repetitively to Improve the Detection Accuracy. Developed Apparatus gives 30 Degree of Detection Angle and 2cm-30cm of the Detection Range when the Apparatus is Tested under Normal Walking Environment.

Emergency Alarm Service for the old and the weak by Human Behavior Recognition in Intelligent Space (지능공간에서의 인간행동 인식을 통한 노약자 및 환자의 위급상황 알람 서비스)

  • In this paper, we discuss a service to give alarm in the case of emergency for the old and the weak by human behavior recognition in Intelligent Space. Our Intelligent Space consists of mobile robots, sensors and agents. And these components are connected to network framework. Agent analyzes data acquired from networked sensors and determines task of robots and a space to provide a service for humans. In our emergency alarm service, human behavior recognition service module analyzes accelerometer data obtained from body-attached human behavior sensing platform, and classifies into four basic human behavior such as walking, running, sitting and falling-down. For the old and the weak, falling-down behavior may bring about dangerous situations. On such an occasion, agent executes emergency alarm service immediately. And then a selected mobile robot approaches fallen person and sends images of the person to guardians. In this paper, we set up a scenario to verify the emergency alarm service in Intelligent Space, and show feasibility of the service from our simulation experiments.

  • In this paper, we suggest Location Recognition System using Sensor Network; it distinguishes locations. Furthermore, this paper proposes Intelligent Navigation System which presents the proper route for the user. INS evaluates the user's preference, tendency and environmental state using Sensor Network Module and current driving information. This system also uses Soft-computing method to learn and infer the person’s preference and tendency. This paper defines Intelligent Assistance Module (IAM) which is a connector in between a user and a robot; it is portable. All in all, we created a basic intelligent robot, Location Recognition System, and Environment Sensor Modules; we verified the proposed algorithm through computer simulations.

  • With the global COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism sector and all consumption have contracted with the untact era. Wine will also be sold and developed in various ways non-face-to-face in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to develop apps and web servers that focus on health in the era of single-person households and non-face-to-face. This study used facial recognition data based on photos of adult men and women in their 40s and 50s to analyze the Sasang constitution through a mobile app and web server, and suggested wine recommendations suitable for their constitution. First, the user's body information is entered. And through the facial recognition mobile app, recommend the right wine after analyzing the body type. if it's not like the first recommended wine, it is configured to receive another wine recommendation. In the future, the number of single-person households will increase further, and in the age of well-being, wine recommendations that fit my body will be useful.   • In order to extract some important information of a person from text, an extracting model was proposed. The person's name is recognized based on the maximal entropy statistic model and the training corpus. The sentences surrounding the person's name are analyzed according to the conceptual knowledge base. The three main elements of events, domain, situation and background, are also extracted from the sentences to construct the structure of events about the person.

  • This paper presents a sensor-based cane mechanism for walking aid of the visually impaired person. We also describe an approach to decide properly the length of the specified cane mechanism. The cane mechanism has some sensors to identify the possibility of a collision between the cane user and an object and/or a person, and a signal processing unit that enables the user to recognize such a collision is attached in the mechanism. Thus, the walker using this cane can recognize in advance the possibility of such a collision in his walking process. Consequently, it is helpful for the visually impaired person to walk on a pedestrian road safely. The feature of the proposed cane mechanism and its availability have been shown through experimental works in a typical walking environment.

  • According as many people use a computer newly, damage of computer virus and hacking is rapidly increasing by the crucial users A computer virus is one of program in computer and has abilities of self reproduction ad destruction like a virus of biology. And hacking is to rob a person's data in a intruded computer and to delete data in a person s computer from the outside. To block hacking that is intrusion of a person s computer and the computer virus that destroys data, a study for intrusion-detection of system and virus detection using a biological immune system is in progress. In this paper, we make a model of positive selection and negative selection of self-recognition process that is ability of T-cytotoxic cell that plays an important part in biological immune system. So we embody a self-nonself distinction algorithm in computer, which is an important part when we detect an infected data by computer virus and a modified data by intrusion from the outside. The composed self-recognition process distinguishes self-file from the changed files. To prove the efficacy of self-recognition algorithm, we use simulation by a cell change and a string change of self file.
