The core of cognitive radio is the problem concerning intelligent decision-making for communication parameters, the objective of which is to find the most appropriate parameter configuration to optimize transmission performance. The current algorithms have the disadvantages of high dependence on prior knowledge, large amount of calculation, and high complexity. We propose a new decision-making model by making full use of the interactivity of reinforcement learning (RL) and applying the Q-learning algorithm. By simplifying the decision-making process, we avoid large-scale RL, reduce complexity and improve timeliness. The proposed model is able to find the optimal waveform parameter configuration for the communication system in complex channels without prior knowledge. Moreover, this model is more flexible than previous decision-making models. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of our model. The model not only exhibits better decision-making performance in the AWGN channels than the traditional method, but also make reasonable decisions in the fading channels.

In this paper, we describe new method to detect face in real-time. We use color information, edge information, and binary information to detect candidate regions of eyes from input image, and then extract face region using the detected eye pall. We verify both eye candidate regions and face region using Support Vector Machines(SVM). It is possible to perform fast and reliable face detection because we can protect false detection through these verification processes. From the experimental results, we confirmed the proposed algorithm shows very excellent face detection performance.

In this paper, we propose a robust music retrieval system based on the content analysis of music. New feature extraction method called Multi-Feature Clustering (MFC) is proposed for the robust and optimum performance of the music retrieval system. It is demonstrated that the use of MFC significantly improves the system stability of music retrieval with better classification accuracy.

This paper presents a tracking algorithm, which is insensitive to light conditions. The proposed algorithm uses the depth information as well as the intensity information to track objects reliably. Specifically we use a disparity map to detect an object and employ the intensity histogram to track the motion of the object. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

In the Web, the data is generally gathered automatically by Web servers and collected in server or access logs. However, as users access larger and larger amounts of data, query response times to extract information inevitably get slower. A method to resolve this issue is the use of summary tables. In this short note, we design a prototype of summary tables that can efficiently extract information from Web log data. We also present the relative performance of the summary tables against a sampling technique and a method that uses raw data.

최근 데이터베이스 보안을 위한 다양한 암호화 방법이 제안되고 있다. 이러한 암호화 방법들은 사용자의 민감한 데이터를 효과적으로 보호할 수 있지만 데이터베이스 질의어에 대한 검색 성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 블룸필터에서의 선택적 요소 단위의 암호화 방식을 제안하였다. 그리고 다수의 질의어를 통하여 기존에 제안된 튜플 암호화 방식과 성능을 비교하였다. 결과적으로 민감한 정보에 대하여 요소 암호화 방법을 적용하고, 이에 대한 인덱스로서 블룸필터를 사용한 제안 방식이 기존에 제안된 방식보다 검색 시간이 매우 빠르게 나타남을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this empirical study is an index to usage of export assistance programs for korean small-medium exporters. Build around the index make an analysis of SMEs internal or exterior factors have an effect on export at present or in future export performance and the relative importance. Based on 128 surveys form korean SMEs experienced export assistance programs, 8 hypotheses, which are set up each factor, were verified through the practical analysis. The main result of hypothesis drawn by empirical study are as follows : The more SMEs use the programs, the more high export performance at present and in future. Export competitive factor reject at present export performance, but it will affect future export performance. A size of the firm in the characteristics of SEMs will affect export performance. Export rate of own brand will not affect performance. Another factors show adoption partly concerned hypothesis. Classified exterior factors of SMEs, a intensity of market competition shows adoption partly concerned hypothesis. Market growth rate will affect export performance at present and future strongly. Finally the usage of assistance programs will affect between a consumption goods and an industrial goods differently. From this study we found if we want to develop the export assistance programs that can actually in phases help the SEMs.

Purpose This study aims to analyse the impact of the development of fintech and the emergence of internet primary banks due to the increasing use of smartphones on the performance of traditional local banks from both financial and non-financial perspectives. Return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) are used to assess the performance differences between the two types of banks and how these differences are affected by their financial characteristics. Design/methodology/approach Using return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) as indicators, we identified the differences in operating performance between the two types of banks. In addition, this study analysed the impact of financial characteristics on profitability through regression analysis with various control variables. We further studied the impact of non-financial characteristics (customer reviews, social media reactions, etc.) on operating performance. Findings The net interest margin ratio of local banks had a positive impact, while the marketable securities ratio of Internet primary banks had a negative impact. The non-financial analysis shows that the number of customer reviews and social media reactions have a significant impact on the performance of Internet primary banks, suggesting that customer satisfaction and positive market perception are important factors in the performance of Internet primary banks.

우리나라의 공적개발원조는 큰 성장을 보이고 있으며, 특히 직업훈련학교에 대한 지원은 그 효익이 직접적이고 단기적으로 발생되게 되어서 수원국에 큰 효익을 안겨준 것으로 평가되고 있다. 그러나 공적개발원조에 대한 경제적 성과를 측정할 수 있는 모형이 없어서 단편적인 성과 측정에 머무르고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 개도국 직업훈련학교에 대한 공적개발원조 시 적용가능한 경제적 성과측정모형을 개발하고자 하는 것이며, 이를 위하여 재무정보를 중심으로 하는 ROI모형을 설정하고 여기에 비재무정보를 중심으로 하는 BSC를 접목하였다. 직업훈련학교는 그 효익의 대상이 명확하고 효익이 교육생의 졸업과 동시에 발생되는 특징이 있으므로, 비재무정보 보다는 재무정보 중심으로 모형을 구셩하는 것이 보다 목적적합하다고 사료된다.

본 논문은 스트랩다운 탐색기 측정치와 INS 정보를 이용하여 시선각속도를 추정하는 유도필터 설계에 대해서 다룬다. 제안하는 유도필터는 탐색기 측정치와 유도탄 자세로부터 획득 가능한 시선각과 표적의 위치와 유도탄과의 상대 위치를 측정치로 하고 있으며, 주기 및 동기가 맞지 않는 두 센서의 출력을 사용하기 위해 비동기 필터를 기반으로 하고 있다. 제안한 방법을 통해 시간지연이 큰 탐색기 측정치를 사용함으로써 생길 수 있는 기생루프에 대한 영향을 줄이고 추정성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
