도서관 관리자의 커뮤니케이션 능력이 직원들의 주관적 직무성과와 역할갈등에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Library Manager's Communication Ability on Job Performance and Role-Conflict of the Library Staff)

  • 도서관 관리자의 커뮤니케이션 능력은 조직의 운영에 영향을 미치는 것으로, 관리자가 어떠한 커뮤니케이션 능력을 보이느냐에 따라 조직의 구성원들을 독려하거나 조직을 운영하는 방식이 달라질 수 있기 때문에 중요한 의미를 가지게 된다. 이에 본 연구는 도서관 관리자의 커뮤니케이션 능력이 직원의 직무성과와 역할갈등에 미치는 영향에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 경영조직으로서의 도서관과 커뮤니케이션에 관한 개념적 배경을 바탕으로, 도서관 관리자의 커뮤니케이션 능력, 직무성과 그리고 역할갈등에 대한 이론적 근거를 마련하였다. 그리고 본 연구는 설문조사법을 이용하여 서울시에 소재한 8개 공공도서관에 근무하는 사서 127명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 조사된 설문내용은 SPSS 20 통계패키지를 이용한 통계분석으로 처리하여 각 변인간의 관계를 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 도서관 관리자의 커뮤니케이션 능력이 직원의 직무성과와 역할갈등에 미치는 영향에 대한 토론을 전개하였다.

뇌졸중 환자의 체간 조절 수준이 균형과 보행 및 기능적 수행 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Trunk Control Ability on Balance, Gait, and Functional Performance Ability in Patients With Stroke)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate correlations of the Trunk Control Test (TCT), Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS-TC), and Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS) and to compare the TCT, PASS-TC, TIS and its subscales in relation to balance, gait and functional performance ability after stroke. Sixty-two stroke patients attending a rehabilitation program participated in the study. Trunk control was measured with the use of TCT, PASS-TC, TIS balance (Berg Balance scale; BSS), gait ability (10 m walk test), functional performance ability (Tuned Up and Go Test TUG) and the mobility part of the Modified Barthel index (MBI), Fugl Meyer-Upper/Lower Extremity ($FM-U{\cdot}L/E$), The scatter-plot (correlation coefficient) was composed for the total scores of the TCT, PASS-TC, and TIS. The multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the impact of trunk control on balance, gait, and functional performance ability. Twenty eight participants (45.2%) and twenty participants (32.3%) obtained the maximum score on the TCT and PASS-TC respectively; no subject reached the maximum score on the Trunk Impairment Scale. There were significant correlations between the TIS and TCT (r=.38, p<.01), PASS-TC (r=.30, p<.05), TCT and PASS-TC (r=.59, p<.01). Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that the BBS score (${\beta}=.420{\sim}.832$) had slightly more power in predicting trunk control than the $FM-U{\cdot}L/E$. TIS-dynamic sitting balance, TUG and the MBI-mobility part. This study 치early indicates that trunk control is still impaired in stroke patients. Measures of trunk control were significantly related with values of balance, gait and functional performance ability. The results imply that management of trunk rehabilitation after stroke should be emphasized.

물리·작업치료사의 근거중심치료 인식도 차이 (A comparison in the evidence-based practice(EBP) awareness of physical therapists versus occupational therapists)

  • Purpose. This study compared the awareness of the evidence-based practice(EBP) in 100 physical and occupational therapists. Methods. A questionnaire on awareness was conducted to examine the attitude toward EBP, the educational experience of EBP, and the performance ability of EBP. A questionnaire consisted of items on the general characteristics, the attitude toward EBP, the educational experience of EBP, and the performance ability of EBP of the subjects. Data analysis was made by IBM SPSS Statistics Ver. 20. The EBP awareness was examined by the independent t-test. Results. For the attitude toward EBP, there was a statistically significant difference in the item of 'Therapists should judge whether they apply study results to individual patient. For the educational experience of EBP, there was no statistically significant difference in all items. For the performance ability of EBP, there was a statistically significant difference in the item about the ability to understand patient's desire for treatment and treatment preference and the item about the ability to determine appropriate treatment process in cooperation with patients. Conclusions. Both two groups showed very low results in the attitude toward EBP, the educational experience of EBP, and the performance ability of EBP. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance EBP education in undergraduate programs and the clinical field.

간호대학생의 자기주도적 학습유형에 따른 임상실습만족도와 임상수행능력 (The Relationship between the Satisfaction with Clinical Practice and Clinical Competence by Types of Self-directed Learning Ability of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the satisfaction with clinical practice and clinical performance ability by types of self-directed learning ability of nursing students. Methods: This was a triangular study that was conducted to understand clinical performance ability. The subjects were 260 junior and senior students from a university in P city. The data were collected from April 22 to December 30, 2015. Data were collected by Q-card, Q-block an assessment tool, a structured self-reporting survey and a questionnaire. Results: We classified the self-directed learning abilities into four types: Type 1: a self-reflective person; Type 2: a person who prepares for the future; Type 3: a person with a sense of responsibility and obligation; and Type 4: an enthusiastic learner. We found that clinical performance ability was higher for Type 4 than Type 3. We found that clinical performance satisfaction with clinical practice was also higher for the Type 4 individual than a Type 3 person. Conclusion: To improve students' clinical performance ability, we need plans and support to lead students toward becoming an 'enthusiastic learner' type of person with self-directed learning ability. It is necessary to increase students' satisfaction with clinical practice.

중환자실 간호사의 의사소통능력, 직무만족도, 조직몰입이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Communication Ability, Job Satisfaction, and Organizational Commitment on Nursing Performance of Intensive Care Unit Nurses)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to provide basic data for developing strategies to improve the nursing performance of nurses working in the intensive care unit by identifying the degree of their communication ability, job satisfaction, organization commitment, and nursing performance, and the relation between each of these variables in the intensive care unit by examining the factors affecting nursing performance. Methods : The participants comprised of 150 nurses working in the intensive care unit in two advanced general hospitals. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, the Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results : Nursing performance of the participants was positively correlated with communication ability (r=.64, p<.001), job satisfaction (r=.26, p<.001), and organization commitment (r=.29, p<.001). Factors significantly influencing the participants' nursing performance included academic background (𝛽=.16, p=.032) and communication ability (𝛽=.50, p<.001). The explanatory power of these variables for nursing performance was recorded at 49.9% (F=19.04, p<.001). Conclusion : The use of various programs in the hospital and the development of effective communication ability with medical staff and other departments among nurses will help improve nursing performance, cooperation with other departments, and patient care.

시뮬레이션 교육이 중환자실 신규간호사의 응급상황 관련 지식과 자기효능감 및 수행능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Simulation Training for New Graduate Critical Care Nurses on Knowledge, Self-efficacy, and Performance Ability of Emergency Situations at Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine if simulation training affects new graduate critical care nurses' knowledge, self-efficacy, and performance ability in emergency situations. Methods: Forty new graduate critical care nurses were randomly assigned to either an experimental or a control group. The experimental group had didactic with simulation. The control group received only didactic without simulation about emergency situations. The data were collected before and after the training interventions. An independent t-test used for difference among variables. Results: There were no significant demographic differences between the two groups or any differences on data collected knowledge, self-efficacy and performance ability. Following the training, there were significant performance ability scores (p<.001) among the nurses receiving didactic with simulation. There were no significant difference between the two groups relative to knowledge scores (p=.117), or the self-efficacy scores (p=.100). Conclusion: This study showed that simulation training for new graduate critical care nurses is useful to improve performance ability on emergency situations. Hence, providing simulation training to critical care nurses during an orientation period would improve quality of critical care nursing and help the new graduates nurse's adaptation.

간호대학생의 회복탄력성, 임상실습 수행능력, 임상실습 스트레스 간의 융합관련성 (Convergence among Resilience, Clinical Performance ability, Stress in Clinical Practice of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력, 임상실습 스트레스 간의 융합관련성을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 대상자는 6개월 이상 임상실습을 경험한 간호대학생 433명이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 대상자의 회복탄력성은 평균 3.58(${\pm}.39$)점으로 나타났으며, 임상실습 수행능력은 평균 3.65(${\pm}.50$)점, 임상실습 스트레스는 3.40(${\pm}.62$)점으로 나타났다. 또한 대상자의 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력 및 임상실습 스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인은 대학생활 만족도, 간호학 전공만족도 및 임상실습 만족도로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 회복탄력성, 임상실습 수행능력, 임상실습 스트레스 간의 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 회복탄력성과 임상실습 수행능력은 정적 상관관계(r=.510)를, 회복탄력성과 임상실습 스트레스 사이에는 부적 상관관계(r=-.153),를 보였다. 본 연구 결과에 기초하여 간호대학생의 회복탄력성을 증진시키고, 임상실습 수행능력을 향상시켜 임상실습 스트레스에 긍정적으로 대처할 수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

간호대학생의 영적 간호 수행능력이 영적 간호 수행정도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Degree of the Spiritual Nursing Care Performance on the Spiritual Nursing Care Ability of Nursing Students)

  • Background: This study was to survey the effect of the degree of spiritual nursing care performance on the spiritual nursing care ability of the nursing students Methods: The researcher sampled 130 nursing students for a questionnaire survey conducted from September 17 until September 27, 2018. The data of analysis used SPSS 23.0 program. Results: The spiritual nursing care ability was $4.4{\pm}0.8$(total score 6) and the degree of spiritual nursing care performance was $2.9{\pm}1.8$(total score 4). The spiritual nursing care ability differed significantly depending on religion(F=7.570, p<.001), the level of spiritual nursing knowledge(F=19.873, p<.001), education type(F=14.626, p<.001), necessity of hospice(t=2.280, p=.024). The degree of spiritual nursing care performance differed significantly depending on spiritual nursing education time(F=2.932, p=.036). The correlation of two variable was statistically significant difference(r=.206, p=.019). The influencing factors on the spiritual nursing care ability was religion, the level of spiritual nursing knowledge, education type, dying experience($R^2=0.378$, Adj $R^2=0.353$), the degree of spiritual nursing care performance was spiritual nursing education time($R^2=0.065$, Adj $R^2=0.043$). Conclusion: These results show that nursing students are not able to perform spiritual nursing care properly to subjects who need spiritual nursing care. Therefore, it is necessary to develope programs to meet the spiritual nursing care needs of nursing students and to provide practical education in accordance with the program by cooperating with the nursing education staff, clergy and clinical nurse etc. And spiritual nursing care should be taught as a required subjects in the curriculum.

재벌기업에서 경영자능력이 장·단기 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (The effect of managerial ability on short-term or long-term firm performance in Chaebol)

  • 본 연구에서는 경영자 능력이 기업 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 선행연구결과를 확장하여, 기업의 소유구조와 자본구조 및 의사결정 행태가 다른 재벌기업에서 경영자 능력이 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향이 차별적으로 나타나는지 여부를 분석한다. 재벌그룹의 경우 기업가치를 상승시키는 중요한 의사결정이 대부분 그룹의 총수에 의해 결정되고 강력한 지배력을 보임에 따라 그룹소속 경영자들 은 그룹총수의 의사결정 방향과 같은 방향으로 노력을 집중하게 된다. 따라서 재벌기업 소속의 경영자는 자신의 성과를 평가받기 위한 단기 회계이익보다는 장기적 관점의 기업가치 증가를 위해 자신의 능력을 집중할 것이고, 재벌기업 소속이 아닌 일반 경영자는 자신의 성과를 높이기 위하여 회계이익을 개선하는데 자신의 능력을 집중할 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 2000년부터 2015년 동안 상장기업을 대상으로, 장기 기업성과인 기업가치와 단기 기업성과인 회계이익을 각각 종속변수로 하여 재벌기업의 경영자능력과 기업의 장 단기성과 간 관계를 분석한다. 연구결과, 경영자의 능력과 장 단기성과 간에는 유의한 양(+)의 관계가 확인되었고, 일반기업과 달리 재벌그룹의 경우 장기성과인 기업가치는 높이는 방향으로, 단기성과인 회계이익은 낮추는 방향으로 관계가 확인되었다. 또한 재벌기업의 경영자능력은 추가적으로 장기성과 즉 기업가치에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 보고되었다. 이러한 결과는 재벌기업의 경영자가 재벌구조의 특성상 장기관점의 기업성과에 자신의 능력을 보다 집중하는 것을 의미한다. 재벌기업이 한국경제에서 차지하는 비중은 매우 크고 이러한 현상은 당분간 큰 변화가 없을 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 재벌기업의 지속적인 성장 여부는 우리 사회에서 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 최근 재벌기업의 지배주주 역할이 2세 또는 3세와 4세로 옮겨가고 있고 세계적인 저성장 구도와 함께 경쟁이 더욱 치열해지는 상황에서, 경영자 능력이 기업성과에 미치는 영향이 재벌기업에서 차별적으로 나타나는지 검증하는 연구는 매우 시의적절하고 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과가 재벌기업의 성과측면에서 일면의 장점을 부각시키고, 일반 경영자의 능력이 단기적 회계이익이 아닌 장기적 관점에서 기업 가치 상승에 기여할 수 있도록 정부 및 관련당국의 정책마련에 새로운 시각을 제시한다는 점에서 시사하는 점이 크다고 본다.

  • Purpose: This study examined the effect of emotional intelligence, job stress, and communication ability on nursing performance of nurses caring for cancer patients. Methods: This is a descriptive study involving 185 nurses with an experience of longer than 6 months at K university hospital in B metropolitan city. The data was collected from March 2nd 2021 to March 31st 2021, and analyzed using the descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The factors affect the nursing performance of participants were emotional intelligence, total clinical career, communication ability, job stress and satisfaction of current department. The total explanatory power of those variables on the nursing performance was 43.8%. Conclusion: In order to improve nursing performance, it is necessary to apply a program for improving emotional intelligence and communication ability, and for controlling and coping with job stress, considering the career of a nurse taking care for cancer patients. In addition, efficient manpower management and material support at the hospital organization level are required.
