  • Purpose - Due to the Covic-19 pandemic, the perceived value of video conferencing platforms has been increased drastically. However, there is little guidance on how service providers can improve video conferencing platforms. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence the users' perceived value of video conferencing services based on the heuristic-systematic model and the value-based adoption model. Design/Methodology/Approach - In this paper, we theoretically explore the relationship of the antecedents of perceived value(credibility, expertise, attractiveness, economic feasibility, security, and interactivity) and its outcomes (perceived usefulness, perceived risk and perceived value). The outcomes of this research is a conceptualization of antecedents of perceived value supported by research hypothesis based on the existing literature. A total of 100 valid questionnaires were collected to empirically test the research model. Findings - The analysis results showed that credibility, economic feasibility, and interactivity positively influenced perceived usefulness. On the other hand, credibility, professionalism and interactivity negatively influenced perceived risk. Perceived usefulness positively affects perceived value and perceived risk has a negative effect on perceived value. The brand image as a moderating variable was found to decrease the effect of perceived risk on perceived value. Research Implications - The contribution of this study is significant for video conferencing providers as follows. First, a service provider can actively utilize influencers or referees with high credibility and expertise to maximize the perceived usefulness of users. Second, economic feasibility should be ensured in respect of users through various alliance discount strategies. Third, a video conferencing service company needs to build a positive brand image in order to increase users' perceived value.

  • The purpose of this study is to present implications for revitalizing start-ups and contribute to enhancing the success rate of start-ups by clarifying factors and processes for converting workers with knowledge, experience and networks in related fields into entrepreneur. Based on the Shapero's Entrepreneurial Event Model, this study demonstrated whether the job insecurity and entrepreneurship of the workers were precipitating events of the entrepreneurial intention and whether the perceived desirability and feasibility of the entrepreneurial behaviour mediated between them. According to the results of the study, first, it was confirmed that job insecurity, innovativeness, and risk-taking of workers are factors that increase the entrepreneurial intention. Second, the indirect effect of perceived desirability between all components of job insecurity and entrepreneurial intentions was not significant, but all components of entrepreneurship appeared to improve entrepreneurial intention through perceived desirability. Third, it has been confirmed that job insecurity, innovativeness, and risk-taking strengthen the entrepreneurial intention through the perception of feasibility for entrepreneurial behavior. Through this study, it is confirmed that in order to convert workers into entrepreneur, it is necessary to strengthen entrepreneurship education and support for internal ventures for workers to increase their positive attitude and confidence in implementation. Therefore, it is expected to help solve job problems and revive the sluggish economy by contributing to boosting start-ups.

  • Entrepreneurship brings countless values to each individual and practical benefits to society and the economy. Recently, the call for a better understanding of entrepreneurship from corporations and governments is regularly voiced the day, both in the academic literature and in public discussions. This study examines factors influencing the startup decision of young people in Vietnam. Primary data was collected from an online survey and then imported into an Excel file before being analyzed by SPSS 22. The total number of relevant observations for the study is 656, using numerous statistical approaches such as EFA and multiple regression analyses. This study contributes to the existing literature and current practice by suggesting six major determinants of startup intention: self-expectation, personal attitudes, self-competency, perceived feasibility, entrepreneurial orientation, and financial wealth. Among these factors, self-competency and entrepreneurial orientation are statistically significant, indicating that the capability of young people is the most important determinant of their startup intention. Additionally, the results indicate that self-expectation, attitude, perceived feasibility, and finance do not impact students' intention to pursue entrepreneurship. We suggest that by enhancing the training quality of universities, young people will be provided with much essential knowledge and technical skills for running a business.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristics of Blockchain to introduce Blockchain technology to the medical industry. Thus, the 5 factors such as Security, Availability, Reliability, Diversity and Economic feasibility were used as the characteristics of Blockchain, which are independent variable, based on precedent studies. Also, Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) that are widely used in the research on Acceptance Intention in order to introduce new technology accept was utilized for intervening variable and dependent variable. For the purpose of this study, the health professionals and ordinary people were classified into health care providers and medical service consumers respectively to conduct survey and comparative analysis. The researching findings discovered that Hypothesis1-1(Security-Perceived Easiness-Acceptance Intention), Hypothesis2-1(Security-Perceived Usefulness-Acceptance Intention) and Hypothesis 3-1(Security-Perceived Easiness-Perceived Usefulness-Acceptance Intention) were rejected in all participants including health professionals and ordinary people. Additionally, all characteristics of Blockchain such as Availability, Reliability, Diversity and Economic feasibility were rejected in Hypothesis3-2 and Hypothesis 3-5 that pass through Easiness and Usefulness to Acceptance Intention, in case of the medical service consumers. Thus, this study discovered and confirmed that there's difference between the health care providers and medical service in the characteristics of Blockchain, as they pass through Perceived Easiness and Perceived Usefulness to Acceptance Intention. The significance of this study can be found, as it suggested activation plan through empirical analysis, which was hardly ever used in the study on Blockchain activation.
