다양한 전자기기의 발전을 통하여 에너지 저장소자의 소형화, 고효율 및 그린에너지화가 요구되며, 이를 위한 유망한 물질로서 그래핀 및 그래핀 하이브리드와 같은 뛰어난 전기화학적 특성을 지니고 있는 나노재료가 각광받고 있다. 특히 전기차산업에서 이차전지의 원가 절감은 관련 산업의 확산을 결정할 수 있는 핵심요소이며, 따라서 배터리 소재 기술에 대한 연구개발 동향을 분석하고 향후 기술발전방향에 대해 대응하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이차전지용 그래핀 음극소재 기술의 국가/기업별 특허 동향 분석을 수행하고 분석결과에 대한 시사점을 도출하여 향후 음극재 소재 관련 연구개발 활동에 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 실제 특허시장 별 특허동향분석에서 보여진 것처럼 음극재 소재 기술의 경우 미국, 유럽 특허시장의 외국인 비중은 대한민국, 일본 특허시장에 비해 높게 나타났으며, 이는 미국, 유럽 시장성이 높음을 의미한다. 또한 일본의 경우, 음극재 소재 기술 분야에서 선도적인 기술로 독과점하고 있기 때문에 일본 국적의 출원인이 일본 특허시장뿐만 아니라 다른 국가에서도 높은 수준의 출원을 보인다. 마지막으로 대한민국, 미국 특허시장에서 연구기관의 비중은 일본, 유럽 특허시장에 비해 높은 수준을 유지하고 있으며 이는 해당국가에서 아직까지 기술의 상업화가 더디게 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 이차전지 소재의 높은 수입률로 인한 가격경쟁력 하락이라는 단점을 극복하기 위해서라도 국내 연구기관과 기업들은 본 연구에서 분석한 주요국 및 주요 기업의 특허 동향 결과를 자체 소재 개발 및 확보 전략을 수립하는데 사용해야 할 것이다.

Very closely related to technologies, patents, standards, and licensing interact with them, cores of technology innovation, as the technology diffusion media for technology innovation. Todays it is usually impressed that no one can face to international technology competetion environment without the strategy of patent, standardization, and licensing. In this paper, the whole configuration of technology innovation is represented including the patent, standard, licensing as these media, their basic characteristics and how they roles as technology diffusion media interacting with the technology, core of the technology innovation configuration are analyzed, and some related practical cases to be understood as the applications of these three media for technology innovation are also explained : such as IMT-2000 and CDMA technology which have been international issues currently involved in patents and standardization together, the advent of Linux operating system being the new event in the field of computer technology. Finally this paper intends to have the implicated meanings needed for national policy improvement, through appreciating the importance and the mechanism of roles of three media factors for technology innovation.

This study investigates the determinants of output of a manufacturing firm's innovative activity (the number of patent applications) and spillover effects using a count data model. This paper attempted a negative binomial distribution In order to take into account unobserved heterogeneity. The results of our study suggested that Firm size, R&D intensity, technical network activity, and online business performance have significantly positive effects in the Korean manufacturing industry. Moreover, there are significantly positive spillover effects in the same industry sector.

The interest in facial recognition technology has been growing with the advancement of AI technology. With a confirmed accuracy of over 99%, the areas of application of the technology have expanded, including smartphone unlocking, online payment authorization, building access management, and criminal apprehension. This indicates that the technology has effectively transitioned from laboratory to field applications. This study performs patent analysis to determine recent innovations and diffusion trends in facial recognition technology. Specifically, R&D activities involving facial recognition technology are investigated at both the country level and company level. Significant patents are also considered. This study contributes to R&D management teams by proposing useful plans and strategies.

Seaweeds contain various bioactive compounds. Especially, brown algae (Phaeophyceae), the second abundant group of seaweeds, contain numerous nutraceutical and pharmaceutical substances. In this review, we investigated on the brown algae-related patents and literature. Consequently, the research and development (R&D) trends of patent related to brown algae showed that the large majority was applied as the composition of stem cell culture medium and mostly used as active substances. In conclusion, we suggested that many researchers try to investigate and develop applications of brown algae as the sophisticated-level biomedical materials because brown algae are actively developing as simple-level biomedical materials.

Currently, the nation's medical industry is changing due to the rapid development of technology. In addition, medical accidents occurring in the medical industry are gradually increasing amid the drastic changes. Therefore, a possible solution to medical accidents in the changing health care industry is needed. Accordingly, this study uses network-centrality analysis to examine the business ecosystem of smart surgical medical systems to find ways to increase the efficiency of surgery as well as the resolution of medical accident problems, and to suggest the direction of development of the medical system in the future from a systematic business ecosystem perspective.

Amid the growing importance and urgency of smartening in the Korean maritime logistics industry, this study conducted a survey on the status of Korea's maritime trade technology. Korea is on par with developed countries internationally, but in order to lead the digitalization of the future era, additional developments should be explored by reviewing current conditions. In particular, it is necessary to draw policy implications for smart shipping in Korea, which is a three-sided sea. This study derived technical implications by comparing the number of patent applications and the applicant for domestic and foreign patents related to the major technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In addition, it was intended to investigate and present the status of Korea's maritime trade technology through the analysis of smart shipping-related emotions and the analysis of positive and negative scores of companies related to sentiment analysis.

본 연구에서는 확공비트에 대한 향후 연구개발 방향을 설정하기 위하여 전체 굴착비트에 대한 한국, 미국, 일본 및 유럽에서의 출원 공개/등록된 특허를 중심으로 특허 동향을 분석하였다. 굴착비트를 대상으로 1차적으로 굴착기능에 따라 확공구조와 고정구조로 분류하고, 2차적으로 굴착방식에 따라 슬라이딩 구조, 컨센트릭 구조 등 7가지로 분류하였다. 특허 검색 결과 총 33,614개가 검색되었으며 중복제거 및 필터링을 통하여 870건의 유효 분석대상 특허를 선별하였다. 특허건수와 출원인수의 상관관계를 이용한 포트폴리오 분석 결과 성장가능성이 가장 높다고 판단되는 슬라이딩구조를 핵심기술로 선정하였으며 이에 대한 특허장벽 분석을 통하여 핵심기술과 유사성이 높은 특허가 있을 경우 회피설계 및 타기술과 차별화된 기술 개발할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하였다.

본 연구는 기업의 지식재산 전유방법 중 특허와 영업비밀의 상호관계를 '기업혁신조사' 자료를 활용하여 실증분석하였다. 다수의 선행 이론연구에서는 특허와 영업비밀 활용을 상호대체적인 관계로 가정하여 논의되어 왔다. 그러나 특허와 영업비밀의 활용은 다양한 기업 및 혁신특성에 따라 상호보완적 및 상호대체적으로 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업 산업 혁신 특성 통제 후 기업의 특허와 영업비밀 선택에 대한 상호관계를 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014년 횡단면 자료를 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 2010년 이전에는 특허와 영업비밀이 상호보완적으로 활용되는 것으로 나타난 반면, 2014년 자료에서는 특허와 영업비밀이 상호독립적으로 활용되는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 분석결과가 2012년 이후 조사방식의 변화로 인해 나타났을 가능성을 배제할 수가 없어 추가적인 분석을 하였고, 설문조사 차이점의 영향을 완전히 배제할 수는 없지만, 최근 나타난 특허와 영업비밀 활용 선택의 상호독립적인 결과는 2010년 이후 늘어난 특허출원 건수 및 기업들이 다른 전유방법들 보다 특허활용에 보다 중점을 둔 것이 원인일 수 있음을 보였다.
