In this work we study the effects of different factors of dislocation loop on its obstacle strength when interacting with an edge dislocation. At first, the interaction model for dislocation and dislocation loop is established and the full and partial absorption mechanism is obtained. Then, the effect of temperature, size and burgers vector of dislocation loop are investigated. The relation between the obstacle strength and irradiation dose has been established, which bridges the irradiation source and microscale properties. Except that, the obstacle strength of C, Cr, Ni, Mn, Mo and P decorated dislocation loop is studied. Results show that the obstacle strength for dislocation loop decorated by alloy element decreases in the sequence of Cr, Ni, Mn, C, P and Mo, which could be used to help parameterize and validate crystal plasticity finite element model and therein integrated constitutive laws to enable accounting for irradiation-induced chemical segregation effects.

Due to environmental issues, the development of low energy consumption products has become one of the main topics in the home appliance industry. The energy consumption of a refrigerator depends on the efficiency of its compressor as well as on the refrigerator cycle design, such as the capacity modulation. In this study, a dual capacity, i.e., two-step capacity modulation (TCM), reciprocating compressor is developed. In a TCM compressor, capacity modulation is achieved by changing the dead volume in the cylinder. Instead of a concentric sleeve, an eccentric sleeve, a key, and a spring are used to change the dead volume for the clockwise and counterclockwise rotation of a motor. When the compressor changes its operating mode from full capacity to partial capacity or in opposite direction, the key may collide with the eccentric sleeve. The structural reliability and mode change reliability were confirmed by analysis and experiment.

Cleantioides rotundata (Kussakin, 1982) is reported for the first time in South Korea. Specimens of C. rotundata were collected with a small hand net from the intertidal zone of Opo-ri, Yeongdeok-gun in South Korea. This species makes tubes using seagrass debris at our sampling location and distinguished by the following characteristics: pleotelson long, length almost 1.6 times as long as width; dorsum of distal one third with deeply bilobed depression on plane. In this paper, we provide descriptions of diagnostic characteristics and illustrations of morphology of C. rotundata. Additionally, a key to the Korean species of the genus Cleantioides is provided and the partial sequences of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (CO1) are provided as molecular characteristics.

A sufficient condition for the robust D-stability of dynamic interval systems is proposed in this paper. This D-stability condition is based on a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function obtained from the feasibility of a set of matrix inequalities defined at a series of partial-vertex-based interval matrices other than the total vertex matrices as previous results. This condition is also extended to the robust D-stabilization problem of dynamic interval systems, which supplies an effective synthesis procedure for any LMI D-region. The proposed conditions can be simplified to a set of LMIs, which can be solved by efficient interior point methods in polynomial time.

An 8-year-old neutralized male Dachshund was presented with severe vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss for two weeks. The patient had to feed in a standing position due to problem of vomiting immediately after meal. Serum chemistry and CBC results were all within reference limits. CT imaging revealed a mass distributed widely in the caudal part of the esophagus including the sphincter and the gastric cardia. Complete surgical removal was difficult because of adhesion to the caudal vena cava. A partial surgical excision and gastropexy with MIC-key feeding tube were performed under the owner's permission. Histologically, the mass was interpreted as leiomyoma. This patient is doing well at present time, six years after the tube installation in 2015.

본 연구는 한국복지패널조사의 11차년도(2016) 자료를 사용하여 장애인 가구원의 가족관계만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 영향력과 관련성을 살펴보고 또, 요인들 간의 경로를 파악하고자 경로분석을 통해 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, 장애인 가구원의 취업여부는 자산수준, 우울감, 가족관계만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그리고 자산수준은 우울감과 가족관계만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 우울감 또한 가족관계만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 다음으로 취업여부와 우울감 사이에서 자산수준의 완전 매개효과가 나타났으며, 자산수준과 가족관계만족도 사이에서 우울감의 부분 매개효과가, 그리고 취업여부와 가족관계만족도 간의 관계에서 자산수준과 우울감의 다중 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 본 연구는 장애인의 저하된 가족관계만족도를 향상시기 위해서 Sherraden 교수의 자산효과이론을 재조명하였으며, 무엇보다도 본 연구는 성인 장애인 가구원을 대상으로 하는 차별화된 저축 프로그램 등 자산형성 프로그램를 설계하는 데 기초자료를 제시하였다는 데에 의의가 있다.

We prove the multiplicity of ordered positive radial solutions for a semilinear elliptic problem defined on an exterior domain. The key argument is to prove the existence of the third solution in presence of two known solutions. For this, we obtain some partial results related to three solutions theorem for certain singular boundary value problems. Proof are mainly based on the upper and lower solutions method and degree theory.

In [1], Maffei proved a certain relationship between quiver varieties of type A and the geometry of partial flag varieties over the nilpotent cone. This relation was conjectured by Naka-jima, and Nakajima proved his conjecture for a simple case. In the Maffei's proof, the key step was a reduction of the general case of the conjecture to the simple case treated by Nakajima through a certain isomorphism. In this paper, we study properties of this isomorphism.

In Spray Forming, specific enthalpy is a key parameter in the deposition process as it influences the thermal condition of the impinging droplets as well as that of the deposit surface. An empirical model for the distribution of specific enthalpy in the spray cone was developed as an easy to handle alternative to numerical models with which the descriptive partial differential equations are solved numerically. The model results were compared with the experimental data to validate its applicability.

본 논문에서는 기존의 암호화 방법보다 다양한 키를 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, 키 생성 알고리즘을 통해 각각 생성된 대칭키를 서버에 저장하지 않는 기존의 시스템보다 보안성이 높은 암호화 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 후 성능 평가를 위해 다양한 크기의 비디오 데이터 파일을 이용하여 실험을 수행하여 제안한 시스템이 기존 시스템에 비해 비디오 데이터 파일 재생 시 암호화 복호화 시간을 포함한 지연시간을 줄어 든 것을 검증하였다.
