Mathematically, the Electromagnetic phenomena can be represented by the Maxwell's equations, but it is very difficult to solve these equations, especially, having complex structural boundaries. By the way, the development of a computer system made us easy to solve these kind of partial differential equations. The Finite Element Method, one of the numerical methods, is very this. This paper shows the power of F.E.M. by examining, with an example of a hollow cylinder in a uniform magnetic field which is analytically solvable, the errors and the tendency of magnetic flux lines.

Let ($G,\;{\upsilon}$) be a bounded smooth domain and reflection vector field on $\partial$G, which points uniformly into G. Under the condition that locally for some coordinate system, ${\mid}{\upsilon^i}{\mid}\;i\;=\;1,{\cdot},{\cdot}$,d - 1, where is constant depending on the Lipschitz constant of G, we have tightness for reflected diffusion with jump on G with reflection $\upsilon$ depending only on c. From this, we obtain some properties of L-harmonic function where L is a sum of Laplacian and integro one.

This paper deals with the numerical estimation of the bubble behavior and the partial discharge (PD) initiation voltage on the basis of electric field calculation with the coaxial coil layer-to-cylindrical electrode system for the simulation of high temperature superconducting coils. The theoretical results of bubble behavior and the PD initiation voltages show fairly good agreement with the experimental results.

In beamforming method, source positions are predicted by MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) power method and composite sound fields can then be decomposed into each partial field by beamforming, detenninistically without restriction of the distance between reference microphones and sources. However, reference microphone array shape is important in both MUSIC and beamforming method. Thus the present paper describes the effect of the reference microphone array shape.

Isogeometric solution of Poisson equation is provided. NURBS (NonUniform B-spline Surface) is introduced to express both geometry of structure and unknown field of governing equation. The terms of stiffness matrix and load vector are consistently derived with very accurate geometric definition. The validity of the isogeometric formulation is demonstrated by using two numerical examples such as square plate and L-shape plate. From numerical results, the present solutions have a good agreement with analytical and finite element (FE) solutions with the use of a few cells in isogeometric analysis.

Ibragimov(1975) showed the central limit theorem and the invariance principle for $\rho$-mixing random variables satisfying $\sigma^2(n) = nh(n) \longrightarrow \infty$ and $E$\mid$\zeta_0$\mid$^{2+\delta} < \infty$ for some $\delta > 0$ where $\sigma^2(n)$ denotes the variance of the partial sum $S_n$ and h(n) is a slowly varying function.

Using sucker agents for tobacco can lead some advantages including saving labor, increasing yield and reducing the spread of diseases. At present, the sucker control agents used in China mainly depended on importing. The agents includes two groups, systemics (Maleic hydrazide: MH, etc) and partial systemics (Butralin, Flumetralin, Pendimethalin, etc). Now, Pendimethalin(a.i. 33%, wp) was used extensively all over the tobacco field in China. Sucker control agents will also be used for tobacco production in China. Because of the high price of the imported agents, China has studied on the domestic production of tobacco sucker control agents and has made some progresses.

This article addresses the influence of partial slip condition in the hydromagnetic flow of Burgers fluid in a rotating frame of reference.The flows are induced by oscillation of a boundary. Two problems for oscillatory flows are considered. Exact solutions to the resulting boundary value problems are constructed. Analysis has been carried out in the presence of magnetic field. Physical interpretation is made through the plots for various embedded parameters.

Comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and comparative molecular similarity indices analysis (CoMSIA) were performed on 60 PPAR-g agonists. Partial Least Squars (PLS) analysis produced good predicted models with $q^2$ value of 0.62 (SDEP=0.33, F value=93.22, $r^2$=0.92) and 0.56 (SDEP=0.47 F value=27.65, $r^2$=0.86), respectivly. The key spatial properties were detected by careful analysis of the isocontour maps.

We study the real-analytic continuation of local real-analytic solutions to the Cauchy problems of quasi-linear partial differential equations of first order for a scalar function. By making use of the first integrals of the characteristic vector field and the implicit function theorem we determine the maximal domain of the analytic extension of a local solution as a single-valued function. We present some examples including the scalar conservation laws that admit global first integrals so that our method is applicable.
