A Study on Closet Body Part in Korea - Focusing on Hanssem, Hyundai Livart and ENEX - (국내 붙박이장 몸통에 관한 연구 - 한샘, 현대리바트, 에넥스를 중심으로 -)

  • In terms of space application and storage space arrangement, the demand and utilization for practical closet have been increasing. The changing concept of living spaces depending on family composition and consumer taste is very important in terms of organizing, using, and assigning spaces for storage with the use of a closet. In this study, the closet was analyzed and inspected focusing on products manufactured by Hanssem, Hyundai Livart, and ENEX. These are popular furniture makers in Korea that develop closets for the furniture industry.

  • We introduce a novel approach for generating constant scallop height tool paths. We derive a Riemannian metric tensor from curvature tensors of a part surface and a tool surface. Then, we construct geodesic parallels from the newly constructed metric. Those geodesic parallels constitute an asymptotically-correct family of constant scallop height tool paths.

  • During the Chosun dynasty there were royal proprieties of tea ritual mainly for the purpose of serving envoys from neighboring countries and offering of a new product to the Deity. There were Buddhist proprieties of tea ritual representing religious ideals of each sect of Buddhism. And Confucian tea rituals were performed in accordance with the book entitled Kare (a family code of decorum) written by Chuja. Besides these there, were Taoist proprieties of the ritual.

  • 다품종 소량생산 체제는 혼란의 비경제로 인하여 생산관리의 효율을 향상시키는데 어려움이 많고 제품 표준화에 의한 대량생산에 비하여 효율과 경제성이 떨어진다. 이러한 비효율성을 극복하기 위한 방안 중 하나가 셀 생산방식이며, 이의 적용을 위해서는 부품군 (part family)과 기계셀(machine cell)을 구성하는 제조셀 형성이 이루어져야 한다. 제조셀 형성을 위한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 가운데 최근에는 신경망을 이용한 제조셀 형성 기법이 소개되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 연구된 신경망 기법 중 가장 제조셀 형성에 적합하다는 ART1 신경망 기법을 GLVQ 신경망 기법과 비교하여 제조셀 형성의 효율성을 분석하였다.

For this purpose, first of all, study precedent concerning the household work and the private and public nature is reviewed. Second, the origin on the privacy of household work and it's relationship of the public part are investigated. Third, it is implicated that through the politicization of household work, it is enable to establish new insight of household work in the family policy.

  • In this paper, we construct explicitly an infinite family of primes P with h±P ≡ 0 (mod qdeg P), where h±P are the plus and minus parts of the divisor class number of the P-th cyclotomic function field over 𝔽q(T). By using this result and Dirichlet's theorem, we give a condition of A, M ∈ 𝔽q[T] such that there are infinitely many primes P satisfying with h±P ≡ 0 (mod pe) and P ≡ A (mod M).

Functional Analysis of a Gene Encoding Endoglucanase that Belongs to Glycosyl Hydrolase Family 12 from the Brown-Rot Basidiomycete Fomitopsis palustris

  • The brown-rot basidiomycete Fomitopsis palustris is known to degrade crystalline cellulose (Avicel) and produce three major cellulases, exoglucanases, endoglucanases, and ${\beta}$-glucosidases. A gene encoding endoglucanase, designated as cel12, was cloned from total RNA prepared from F. palustris grown at the expense of Avicel. The gene encoding Cel12 has an open reading frame of 732 bp, encoding a putative protein of 244 amino acid residues with a putative signal peptide residing at the first 18 amino acid residues of the N-terminus of the protein. Sequence analysis of Cel12 identified three consensus regions, which are highly conserved among fungal cellulases belonging to GH family 12. However, a cellulose-binding domain was not found in Cel12, like other GH family 12 fungal cellulases. Northern blot analysis showed a dramatic increase of cel12 mRNA levels in F. palustris cells cultivated on Avicel from the early to late stages of growth and the maintenance of a high level of expression in the late stage, suggesting that Cel12 takes a significant part in endoglucanase activity throughout the growth of F. palustris. Adventitious expression of cel12 in the yeast Pichia pastoris successfully produced the recombinant protein that exhibited endoglucanase activity with carboxymethyl cellulose, but not with crystalline cellulose, suggesting that the enzyme is not a processive endoglucanase unlike two other endoglucanases previously identified in F. palustris.

An Ecological Study of Food and Nutrition in Elementary School Children in Korea (우리 나라 일부 초등학생의 식생태에 관한 연구)

  • The current socioeconomic climate has meant more children spend more time alone at home even for dining. This study was performed to characterize modem Korean childrens´food ecology based on mealtime atmosphere. A total of 705 elementary school students, 347 girls and 358 boys took part in the study. They were chosen evenly from the Seoul metropolitan areas, provincial cities, or rural areas, and were asked to fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaire was categorized to determine various factors related to food ecology, life styles, and health related symptoms. The average age of the study subjects was 11.5 years. The average height, weight, body mass index, and Rohrer index were 143.2cm, 37.6kg, 18.2 and 127.2 respectively. A significant number of children(39.2%) answered their bed time was between 11 and 12 pm. Only 28.3% answered that the whole family has breakfast together, and 47.7% have dinner together. A considerable number of children, 17.8% for breakfast and 6.9% for dinner, answered they eat alone. Most of the children answered they like to have dinner with the whole family. Half of the children answered they do not feel hungry before having breakfast. Proportions of children for their favorite meal time were 66.8%, and 25.4% and 7.8% for dinner, school lunch, and breakfast respectively. The largest proportions of children, 53.3% and 68.7%, have breakfast and dinner at home. Most of the children(75.2%) never purchase their dinner. Forty two% of the children answered they like school lunch, however, 60% of children answered they leave portions of lunch uneaten occasionally or always. Only 38.0% and 46.2% of the children have nutritionally adequate diet for breakfast and dinner. Children having more meals with the whole family possessed a more positive attitude towards breakfast compared to the children who eat with the whole family less frequently. In conclusion, Korea children are exposed to different health threatening food ecology problems related to changing environments, and consistent concern and support from community nutritionists are required.
