  • Purpose: This is to find out the correlation between a families burden on a cerebrovascular accident patient and the demand for nursing home. Method: The data was established by using structured questionnaires for 102 nursing families of cerebrovascular accident patient at three university hospitals. Result: 1) The total burden was showed to be at 3.21, which was some what higher than average. Total average of demand for nursing home was at 3.30, which was higher than average. 2) This showed static correlations between the economic, social, physical dependent and psychological burden, and demand for nursing home. The result represents that the higher burden showed a significantly positive correlation to the higher demand for nursing home. Conclusion: If a systemic support of nursing home is prepared the differentiated nursing home matched perfectly on each burden, the burden on a family of the patient can be decreased effectively.

  • With low carbon and green growth as the policy indicator, Korea has been concentrating on a variety of researches and technical development as well as recommending the LED lighting facility as part of Green Energy policy to cope with the environment and energy crisis. While the interest on LED has been increasing, the development of LED is still in its early stage and researches on diverse aspects of LED are not sufficiently implemented. Thus, this paper aimed to get the data that would help the expansion of LED lighting by comparing and analyzing the awareness and knowledge level of the public and experts on LED lighting.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes of time series, the use by farm type and the causes of farm household debt. First, the mid and long term changes in farm household debt over the past 50 years have increased. Since 2010, the share of non-agricultural debt has exceeded the share of agricultural debt. Second, as a result of the analysis of the farm household debt use by farm type - full time&part time, farming type, land size, age, family members - there was a difference between the agricultural and the non-agricultural debt according to the type of farm household in a significant level of 1%. Finally, as a result of the cause analysis of the farm household debt, the related non-agricultural expenditure variables and the dummy variable of the manager's age, family member and land size has a common influence on the farm household debt increase.

  • In 2016, as part of a larger effort to discover indigenous prokaryotic species in Korea, we isolated the family Deinococcaceae and Planctomycetaceae as unrecorded bacterial species. From the high 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity (>98.5%) and formation of a robust phylogenetic clade with known species, it was determined that each strain was a distinct bacterial species. There are no official reports that these two species have been described in Korea; therefore, the bacterial strains of Deinococcus and Blastopirellula are described for the first time in Korea. Gram reaction, colony and cell morphology, basic biochemical characteristics, and isolation sources are also described in the species description section.

  • A pollen analytical study was carried out on the accumulated humus samples collected from 27 sites under the different plant communities of Mt. Seolag. These pollen spectra were then compared with the actual vegetation. The aboreal pollen(AP) and non-abnoreal pollen(NAP) were 1 Family 25 Genus and 5 Family 5 Genus, respectively. Among the aboreal pollen identified, the pollen of Pinus, Quercus, Betula and Acer were appeared in abundance and the coniferous pollen of Pinus was occupied at least 20%-65% through all the sites studied. The pollens of Abies, Betula, accer, Quercus, Carpinus, Corylus, Fraxinus, Styrax, Prunus and Ericaceae were in accordance with the present vegetation but the other pollens were inconsistent with the actual vegetaton. It suggests that it was caused by the difference between Wehseolag and Namseolag of subalpine zone in Mt. Seolag was 200 m by pollen spectra. Quercus was distributed at the lower part of Namseolag and the subalpine boreal elements were increased with increasing altitudes. The pollen spectra of each site was put together into 5 groups of pollen assemblage by cluster analysis and the community coefficient (CC) was over 60% between all sites studied.

As part of this aim we will look into the role of mothers reflected within these articles. Content analysis was used to accomplish the specific objectives of this study. All these articles emphasized the prudent role of mothers and pointed to the fact that holistic knowledge was needed to perform the role of a mother effectively. In other words, mothers had to know about child disease, hygiene, breast milk, nutrition, food, snacks, sleep, exercise and security. Interestingly, the most important matter emphasized in these articles was hygiene. In 1920s, the role of mothers in generally family life was held in high regards in Korean society. • In the microcaddisfly family Hydroptilidae, only 12 species belonging to four genera are known currently from the Korean Peninsula. Yet, worldwide this family is one of the biggest of the Trichoptera families. Collection from 2015 to 2017 by aerial sweeping and light-trapping in the southeastern part of Korean Peninsula (Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do) included species not recorded previously from the Korean Peninsula. We provide re-descriptions of the six species(Hydroptila dampfi Ulmer, 1929, H. introspinata Zhou and Sun, 2009, Orthotrichia costalis(Curtis, 1834), O. tragetti Mosely, 1930, Oxyethira miea $Ol{\acute{a}}h$ and Ito, 2013, and Stactobia nishimotoi Botosaneanu and Nozaki, 1996) to improve comprehension of Korean hydroptilids.
