  • The waterproofing material can be roughly divided into a coating material and a sheet waterproofing material. In the case of coating waterproofing materials, sheet waterproofing materials, which are easy to use in terms of workability and quality control, have been recently used because of their incomplete use of coating thickness, long curing time and poor blending due to in situ blending. However, in the case of the sheet waterproofing material, since the sheet overlapping portion is inevitably generated, various defects (breakage due to the behavior) are frequently observed. Therefore, it is imperative to establish fundamental measures to minimize this.

  • 프로그램의 정적 검증을 위한 명세는 1차 술어 논리(First Order Logic)가 주로 사용된다. 하지만 1차 술어 논리가 모든 정보를 표현할 수가 없기에 이를 보완하기위해 양상논리(Modal Logic)를 사용할 수가 있다. 정적 프로그램 검증을 위해 양상 논리를 이용하여 확장된 BML(Bytecode Modeling Language)은 BIRS로 변환 되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 확장된 BML을 중간 표현 언어인 BIRS(Bytecode Intermediate Representation Specification)로 표현하기 위하여 BIRS 문법을 확장한다.

  • In CDMA based mobile communication network, signaling messages are routed through Signaling Transfer Point(STP) which is responsible for MTP layer 3 switching. As WCDMA based UMTS network is considered as next generation technology allowing global roaming services, all nodes in networks have their own identity number called Global Title(GT). Therefore, it is essential to introduce Signaling Gateway(SG) responsible for SCCP layer switching to solve the problem each node has all GT tables including even all overseas nodes. In this paper, we propose the signaling network architecture in UMTS networks using SG and we show that we can reduce CAPEX and OPEX in each node. To show the validity of the proposed method some simulations are given in which the results can be expected by intuitive observation.

  • The selective isolation of specific proteins from complex protein mixtures by nanoparticles is reported. Glutathionemodified superparamagnetic nanoparticles were used to purify specific proteins fused with glutathione S-transferase via enzyme-substrate interactions. They demonstrated greatly improved selectivity and efficiency over micron sized capturing beads. The ultra-specific enrichment of target proteins was confirmed by both SDS-PAGE and LC/MS/MS experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 폭주 회피형 ERICA+ 알고리즘에서 ER 피드백 계산에 이용되는 부하지수, 가용용량, 활성 가상회선 수 등에 영향을 미치는 측정간격을 기존의 Cell 단위나 Time 단위가 아닌, 목적 큐 길이를 기준으로 현재 스위치의 큐 길이의 변화에 따라 파라미터를 측정함으로써, 큐 지연은 물론이고 ACR과 Fair Share의 진동을 줄일 수 있고, 일시적인 트래픽 폭주에 동적으로 반응할 수 없거나 빈번한 측정으로 인한 시스템의 복잡도와 고속화 문제를 해결한 안정적인 알고리즘을 제안하고 시뮬레이션 수행을 통하여 기존의 방법과 비교 분석한다.

  • We report the use of a widely tunable detuned dual-mode laser diode (DML) as a compact and portable continuous-wave THz emitter. The wavelength difference between the two lasing modes of this DML can be tuned from 2.4 nm to 9.3 nm by using integrated microheaters. The power difference between these modes is less than 1 dB, and the side-mode suppression ratio is greater than 30 dB over the entire tuning range.

홍대용 혼상의(渾象儀)의 복원 연구: 구조와 작동 메커니즘을 중심으로

  • 홍대용(洪大容, 1731~1783)이 저술한 "담헌서(湛軒書)" 외집 권6의 <주해수용(籌解需用)>에는 수격식 천문시계인 혼상의(渾象儀)에 대한 기록이 나온다. 우리는 홍대용 혼상의에 대한 구조와 작동 메커니즘에 대한 연구를 통해 복원 모델의 개념설계를 진행하였다. 혼상의는 세 개의 환(環)과 2개의 층(層)으로 되어 있다. 외층에 해당하는 환 구조는 자신이 제작한 혼천의인 통천의(統天儀) 구조와 유사하다. 내층에 해당되는 혼상구에는 별자리와 은하수를 그려넣고, 태양과 달의 모습을 구슬 형태로 매달아 천상의 운행 모습을 구현하였다. 통천의는 추동력으로 운행되며, 혼상의는 물에 의한 수격방식으로 운행된다. 홍대용의 수격방식은 조선에서 전통적으로 사용한 동력체계로 중국의 대표적 천문시계인 수운의상대의 동력체계를 간소화시켰다. 혼상의에 대한 기록은 조선시대 수격식 동력체계를 다룬 거의 유일한 문헌기록으로 수격식 작동 메커니즘 연구에 중요한 단서를 제공해 주고 있다.

  • In this paper, we present new methods for rapid high-resolution range sensing using green-blue stripe pattern. We use green and blue for designing high-frequency stripe projection pattern. For accurate and reliable range recovery, we identify the stripe patterns by our color-stripe segmentation and unwrapping method. The experimental result for a naked human face shows the effectiveness of our method.

  • In this paper, The Next Generation High Speed Railway inverter system using Hybrid Random Pulse Width Modulation (Hybrid RPWM) is proposed to reduce electromagnetic noise. To verify the validity of study, simulation results of the Next Generation High Speed Railway Inverter system using the proposed method was compared with the system using conventional method. A simulation program is developed using Matlab/Simulink. The results show that the voltage and current harmonics of the Next Generation High Speed Railway Inverter system using Hybrid RPWM significantly decrease and spread into wide band area.
