In order to present the enhancement direction for the military administrative facilities, that can satisfy the user demands and achieve cost-effectiveness the goal of public projects, this research analyzes the features of functional spaces using Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP). Basically, the scope is selected to four facilities commander office, private office, public office, and meeting room, because they have an effect on military administrative facilities. Since the space is established by a combination of their own functions, this research begins with an analysis of functional spaces of military administrative facilities, which is verified through literature review and interview with expert. Thereafter, an AHP survey is conducted to military personnel to analyze the priority of functional spaces and to re-classify the functional spaces of each Military administrative facilities. Resultingly, the difference of functional spaces preference according to ranks and facility type are identified. Even though the same military facilities, it means that user satisfaction is different. Therefore, user satisfaction should be considered for each facility at the construction plan. It can minimize overlapped and unused spaces, which can help ensure cost-effectiveness. Consequently, this research suggested the methodology and the process that can take user satisfaction and can support the enhancement of military facilities standards.

Recently the countries breeding bears such as China and Vietnam are promoting a policy that gives relief to wild animals through agreement with AAF and WSPA. Currently our country has lacking breeding space for the increased number of bred bears due to the prohibition of bear import and export from joining the CITES in 1992. There needs to be a place that treats, protects accepts breed bears in the terms of animal welfare. The bear park was hoped to be designed as a means to give relief to bears and promote harmony with the local society, and is made of parking area, waiting area, visitors center, treatment research management facilities, restaurants, food warehouse, food store, bear museum, sanitation facilities, gondola, plaza, rehabilitation area for wild animals, outdoor exhibition center, direct indirect experience area of wild animals, resting facilities and areas, photo zones, bear playground, bear experiencing facilities, fences, information facilities, tree protection facilities and more. The design can be used as a reference in examining alternative measures following the future change in breeding policy as a bear park example which reflected the ecology of a bear in the term of animal welfare.

This plan was submitted as part of an invited competition for the provincial park planning of Yeonin Mountain, which was held by the Gyeonggi Innovation Corporation in November, 2006. The proposed site is located at Seungan-ri, Gapyung-eup, Gapyung-gun, Gyunggi-do and covers about $150,010m^2$. The main goal of this project is to "Suggest a New Park Paradigm" by shedding old ways of thinking about parks through an integrated development concept. Planning was approached as follows: First, providing an unique theme to the support facilities area of Yeonin Mountain Piovincial Park. To achieve this theme, the Seungan support facilities area was designated to be home to a Seven Colored Theme Garden, currently named the Native Wild-flower Garden, while the Baekdun facilities area is to be centered on a Self-loaming Forest Camp, which will give the chance of a hands-on wildlife experience. With these themes, which create recreational goals that will encourage not only tourism but education as well, the foundation was laid for a multi-purpose park paradigm. Second, Developing a Core Facility Zone. To accomplish the development of a core facility zone, park buildings will be arranged in accordance with an integrated building lay-out for easy access and use, and the facilities specified by design for the Seven Colored Theme Garden are provided for the newly prepared site. This will allow focus on the user's viewpoint instead of the view of the planner or of ease of maintenance.

The roles and needs for the greentourism facilities require the associated functions and systems which can be determined from considering the existing successful facilities. Some of successful examples for the greentourism facilities in Japan have been investigated, and their functions and systems carefully examined. This paper is intended to provide a meaningful step for introducing and applying the functions and systems for the greentourism facilities in Japan to Korea. The facilities should support the greentourism that leads to the active cultural exchange between urban and rural areas. The required specific facilities are discussed in this paper. For newly developed facilities, restaurants, specialty stores, and hotels may be effective facilities for the greentourism. The design for the entire greentourism facilities should consider, for the development of the area, the several kinds of required functions of the greentourism, such as the travel guide center, the marketing center, the information center, the business center, the human resources center, and the environment conservation center.

본 연구는 국내 현대조경을 대표하는 공원들을 대상으로 실제 이용자들이 느끼는 만족도, 선호도, 이미지 등을 분석하여 개별 공원의 기능적, 경관적인 차이점과 공통점을 실증적으로 규명하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 공원시설 유형으로는 관리상태, 공원활동시설, 편의시설, 동선 및 밀도, 조경 및 휴게시설 등으로 구분되었다. 공원이용행태 만족도에 대해서는 대화, 휴식, 한가로움 등에 대해서는 긍정적으로 평가하였고 학습, 체험, 경험 등에 대해서는 부정적으로 평가하였으며, 공원 이용행태의 유형으로는 공원활동, 정서 및 체험, 자연활동 등으로 구분되었다. 공원의 이미지 분석 결과 조사대상 공원은 주로 안정적이고 편안하며 자연적인 느낌의 공간으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었으며, 자연/조화성 요인, 개방감 요인, 독특성 요인 등의 요인으로 요약되었다. 선호도 조사 결과 전반적으로 양호한 선호를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 시설만족도, 이용행태, 경관이미지, 선호도 등을 기준으로 공원을 유형화한 결과 다목적공원(일산호수공원, 여의도공원, 하늘공원, 양재천, 올림픽공원), 자연적 요소를 가진 종합공원(선유도공원, 평화의 공원), 개방된 도시공간(서울광장, 청계천), 상대적 개선필요 공원(파리공원, 서울숲), 생태공원(길동자연생태공원) 등의 5개의 유형으로 구분되었으며, 각 유형별 특징에 대한 분석이 진행되었다. 본 연구결과는 수도권에 위치한 공원을 대상으로 한 계절 동안 설문조사의 결과로 일반적인 도시공원의 유형화를 위한 기초연구라고 할 수 있다. 향후 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 보다 다양한 도시공원에 대한 일반적이고 폭넓은 연구가 필요하겠다.

This study aimed to provide basic data for the national park management by analysing visitors' behavior and satisfaction determinants by importance-performance analysis and estimated regression analysis through post-occupancy evaluation questionnaire method to the Gyeongju National Park visitors. It was found that facilities and use management according to place and use group, the diversity of visit program, high quality of guidance and hospitality of staffs and conservation of historic and landscape resources for Gyeongju National Park were necessary as the results of behavior analysis, importance-performance analysis. The historic landscape resources, hospitality of staffs, visit road and safety facilities, commercial facilities were important determinants of users' satisfaction as the results of regression analysis. It suggested the characteristics of Gyeongju National Park and these factors were the most important factors for the improved management.

This study focused on 15 parks to investigate the actual developmental conditions for preservation type parks and artificial type parks in the 9 residential land development sites managed by the Korea Land Corporation in Daegu and Gyeongsangbukdo area from 1994 to 2002. Emphasis is placed upon the types of land use, park arrangements, park facilities, types of planted trees and landscaping expense, with a view to discovering ways of improving the efficiency of future park development.

The purpose of this study is to compare the satisfaction of the urban parks and to classify and assess the environmentally-friendly behaviors in the urban parks. For this purpose, the park user's behaviors and satisfactions were surveyed in 10 parks in Seoul and its suburb area. Parks are divided into 2 types, the walking-distance parks and the metropolitan parks, by time to reach, visit frequency and visit purpose. The park users are generally satisfied with the facilities, but not satisfied with some specific items, such as cultural facilities, accommodations for the handicapped, safety facilities and sports facilities. The environmentally-friendly behaviors are positively assessed in general, but the behavior of the natural experience was negatively assessed. The environmentally-friendly behaviors in the urban parks are classified into 2 factors; the experience factor and the activity factor. The parks are categorized into 3 types by these factors. For type I parks, the experience factor is dominant, but the activity factor is relatively low. For type II parks, the both factors are low and the parks are necessary to improve. And type III parks are positively assessed in the aspect of the environmentally-friendly behaviors, even though some park are necessary to complement.

This study aims at identifying factors and variables which have significant effects on users satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities in Apsan city natural park and therby establishing indicies of planning and / or development of urban forest. To test the causal models of this research, The data were gathered by self-administered questionnaires from 1,147 households in Taegu city which were selected by the multi-stage probabiling sampling method. The analysis of the data primarily consist of two phases : The first analysis dealt with exploratory factor analysis which identified major factors involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities in Apasn city natural park and the second analysis tested the fit of causal models of this research to the data using LISREL methodology. The factor analysis identified that three significant factors are involved in satisfaction with recreational activities and five significant factors are inherent in satisfaction with recreational facilities. The second phase analysis tested the fit of the causal models for satisfaction with recreational activities and facilities to the data and identified statistically significant causal linkage among overall satisfaction with the park, other indogenous factors and exogenous variables. These significant relationships represent important factors and variables that should be considered in planning and/of development of the city natural park. On the basis of there significant causal relationships implications for planning and/or development of the city natural park were suggested.

Power facilities of urban rail transit substation is deterioration, and endurance limitation is coming, so urban rail transit facilities should take any necessary measure for maintenance and repair. In this paper proposes online monitoring system using the wireless communications for the urban rail transit. This system is constructed various departments; such as sensor, measurement, data communication, host computer, and power departments. It is designed to collect and save AI (Analog Input) information of the power facilities, and to analyze and display them. As a result, it is possible to prevent from any unexpected power cuts and monitor my abnormalities in real time, and to collect accumulated data for creating a better management system.
