Electrical and Adhesion Properties of Photoimageable Silver Paste with Glass Addtion

  • Micro patterning of conductor line/space on LTCC green sheet in the LTCC module is an important process for miniaturization in 3D integrated circuits. This work presented the effect of inorganic binders on the microstructure, adhesion, electrical resistivity, shrinkage and line/space resolution, which is a part of study in photoimageable conductor paste. The photoimageable conductor paste contains silver powder, polymer binder, monomer, photo-initiator, UV absorber, and solvent. The inorganic binders were furnished with varied weight percentage of anorthite, diopside and MLS-62 glass frits from 0% to 7%. The Line/space sizes thus obtained was under 25 micron.

Performance Evaluation for the Application of Roof Green Box Unit System Combined with Engineering P.E.Waterproof and Root Penetration Sheet (엔지니어링 PE방수.방근시트가 결합된 박스 유닛형 옥상 녹화 시스템 적용을 위한 성능평가)

  • According to the increment of urban buildings, the demand of eco-environment space will be also increased. Therefore, the artificial ground green system on a roof will be supplied gradually. In this study, the concept of simplification, unification and prefabrication was widely applied to supply green system. Consequently, the box unit system with a continuous soil layer was developed, and adhesive property, wind resistance and insulation property of this system were evaluated for site application. As a results of adhesive property and wind resistance test, comparing with design wind pressure and wind velocity, this system was safe at the height of 100m building located in urban. In addition, results of temperature measurement for 120 days showed 17% higher insulation property at daytime and 45% higher insulation property at night than normal box unit system owing to continuous soil layer.

  • The CQUEAN (Camera for QUasars in EArly uNiverse) is an optical CCD camera optimized for the observation of high redshift QSOs to understand the nature of early universe. The focal reducer, which is composed of four spherical lens, is allowed to secure a wider field of view for CQUEAN, by reducing the focal length of the system by one third. We designed the lens configuration, the lens barrel, and the adapters to assemble to attach focal reducer to the CCD camera system. We performed tolerance analysis using ZEMAX. The manufacturing of the focal reducer system and its lab test of optical performance were already finished. It turned out that the performance can meet the original requirement, with the aberration and alignment error taken into account. We successfully attached the focal reducer and CQUEAN to the cassegrain focus of 2.1m telescope at McDonald Observatory, USA, and several tests of CQUEAN system were carried out. In this presentation, I will show the process of focal reducer fabrication and the result of performance test.

Establishment of Preservative Green Spaces and Potential Focus Areas by the Green Infrastructure Assessment of the City of Daejeon (녹지기반성 분석에 의한 보전녹지와 중점관리지역 설정에 관한 연구 - 대전광역시를 대상으로 -)

  • Due to the amendment of the Act for Urban Parks in 2005, local governments have to establish long-range plans for securing and managing urban parks and green areas. This study aims to propose a method of setting priorities for green areas of land to be preserved before the development stage through the introduction of the concept of Green Infrastructure Assessment, and provide basic data to establish the network of urban parks and green areas by applying the GIA method to the city of Daejeon. The concept of GIA and the process of analysis have been drawn as a result of literature research and case studies. The results of this study show that an introduction of the GIA concept to set park and open space planning promotes the connection of the city planning process as well as presents very a reasonable source to facilitate sustainable development. Also, other results present a priority ranking for protection of parks and green areas as well as a means to manage potential focus areas. This study, does have research limitations such as a limited study area, scale, and conflicts between domestic and foreign computing data. Further studies need to set the planning process and examine the index survey to apply this method to various situations and areas.

The Influences of Apartment Complex Characteristics on Housing Price by Hierarchical Linear Model (위계적 모형을 이용한 주거단지특성이 주택가격에 미치는 영향)

  • The background of this study is to examine the structure of housing price of which characteristics are not equal but hierarchical in the apartment complexes. So, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influences of apartment complex characteristics on the housing price within the same regional boundary by HLM. The data used as dependent variables were the market prices of 938 units from 29 apartment complexes by stratified sampling. The 2nd level independent variables is the Housing complex characteristics which are composed of the housing complex & locational variables and the 1st level independent variables are the unit characteristics. The results are as follows. First, the first model shows that the 2nd level variables explains 68% of the housing prices. Second, the influential variables of the 1st level unit variable are 'dwelling exclusive area', 'floor of dwelling' and 'direction of dwelling'. Third, the influential variables of the housing complex variables in the 2nd level are 'lot area', 'the building-to-land ratio', 'the number of unit', 'the number of parking lots per unit', 'Green space area' and 'open space area per unit'. The last, the influential variables of the housing locational variables in the 2nd level are 'distance to subway and park' and the number of school and park within a radius of 1km.

Analysis of the Carbon Neutrality Effects of the Joseon Royal Tombs Historical Landscape Forests Based on i-Tree Eco (선릉과 정릉 역사경관림의 i-Tree Eco 기반 탄소중립 효과 분석)

  • As climate change issues intensify, the importance of green spaces, a Nature-based Solution (NbS), is being emphasized for urban climate change adaptation. This study analyzes the carbon neutrality effects of the historical landscape forests of Seolleung and Jeongneung, large green spaces in urban areas, using the i-Tree Eco simulation. By doing so, the study underscores the significance of maintenance and management from a climate change adaptation perspective. For the simulation analysis, an inventory was established based on field-measured tree monitoring data of 10,643 trees within the study area, linked with climate data from nearby weather observation stations. The analysis results showed that the trees within the study area annually reduced air pollutants by 5,400 kg, stored 1,260 tons of carbon, and sequestered 98.23 tons of carbon. Additionally, since the study area primarily consists of forest species, it was found that it can secure relatively higher biomass accumulation compared to trees applied to street trees and park green spaces. This emphasizes the need for maintenance and management of historical landscape forests as urban resources that can contribute to national carbon neutrality due to their high forest structure integrity, in addition to their heritage preservation value.

A Study on Effective Plans for Increasing Urban Parks through an Analysis of Areas with Park Shortages - Gangneung - (공원부족구역 분석을 통한 도시공원 확충방안 연구 - 강릉시를 대상으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose plans to increase the number of urban parks as a way to help absorb carbon in order to implement the low carbon green city goals of Gangneung. As a study method, park incentive areas and current park areas were set as parameters and the areas of lacking in park space were categorized according to each indicator. The degree of park shortage was classified by overlapping the park shortage areas. Once the areas needing parks were assessed according to priority, target sites were selected on sites where construction would be actually possible. First, results of analysis showed that Songjeong-Dong and Seongdeok-Dong to the east of the target site lacking park space due to old residences and high population density or industrial use areas, were the most severe in the degree of park shortage. It was also shown that areas with high population density and park shortages included the Ponam-Dong, Okcheon-Dong and Hongje-Dong areas. Accordingly, the east side of the target areas and Hongje-Dong were both considered as high-priority areas needing to increase park space and actual possible target sites were selected for the creation of new, small parks in industrial areas by creating parks in school yards, in facility relocation sites and legal reviews. In addition, analysis indicators of park shortages were re-evaluated according to the securing of the park and it was shown that the problems in park shortages were resolved with the proper positioning of parks. In addition, satisfaction in the area of park per person, $3m^2$ was at a higher than a certain level in all areas except Songjeong-Dong, demonstrating that the park areas were evenly distributed. Areas of park shortage were shown in part of Songjeong-Dong and Seongdeok-Dong. This could be resolved by using alternative park resources such as the adjacent Gyeongpo Provincial Park, the beach and Namdaecheon.

High-resolution optical and near-infrared spectroscopic study of 2MASS J06593158-0405277

  • We present the results of high-resolution (R ≥ 30,000) optical and near-infrared spectroscopic monitoring observations of a FU Orionis-type object, 2MASS J06593158-0405277. We have monitored 2MASS J06593158-0405277 with the Bohyunsan Optical Echelle Spectrograph (BOES) and the Immersion GRating INfrared Spectrograph (IGRINS) since December 2014. Various features produced by wind, disk, and outflow/jet were detected. The wind features varied over time and disappeared about a year after the outburst occurred. The double-peaked line profiles were detected in the optical and near-infrared, and the line widths decrease with increasing wavelength. The disk features in the optical spectra are fit well with G2-type or G5-type stellar spectra convolved with a disk rotational profile of about 45 km s-1, which corresponds to a disk radius of about 71 Rfor a central mass of 0.75 M. Disk features in near-infrared spectra are fit well with a K1-type stellar spectrum convolved with a disk rotational profile of about 35 km s-1, which corresponds to a disk radius of about 117 R for a central mass of 0.75 M. We also detected [S II] and H2 emission lines, which are rarely found in FUors but are usually found in the earlier stage of young stellar objects. Therefore, we suggest that 2MASS J06593158-0405277 is in the relatively earlier part of Class II stage.

Design of Unam-Ji Waterfront Park (운암지 수변공원 설계)

  • This paper presents a design of urban waterfront park using agricultural reservoir in urban fringe area to meet increasing leisure demand for urban resident and to improve resident's quality of life through preventing the reservoir from urban use after reclamation. The site, Unam-Ji, is located on northern part of Taegu metropolitan area, having 17,791 square meters. We had designed this park from 1997 to 1998. After analyzed such factor as accessibility, current land uses, topography, hydrology, vegetation and landscape, climate, and soil, we constructed basic design scheme and principes such as conservation of natural resources, meeting user's recreation demands, providing opportunities for experiencing natural process, integrating naturalness and amenity of the site, and comfortable place with natural dynamism. Based on these principles, we have designed Unam-Ji waterfront park having intrinsic characteristics of the site, maintaining water quality and ecological restoration and improving water-based recreation opportunities. After evaluation of such criteria of design alternative as land use and circulation, spatial organization, convenience for use of and maintenance, conservation of natural environment, and degree of achieving planning and design goals, and maintaining landscape, we have visualized and formalized waterfront park in design process, which is consisted of four squares-- green square for multiple uses, water-based recreation square, pedestrian roads and decks near waterfront, performance square and fords near waterfront. In conclusion, this waterfront park design contributes to improve quality of urban development through preserving agricultural as an important component of urban water system and provide important planning and design implications in urban open space planning.

A Study on Use Satisfaction and Image Evaluation of User through Post Occupancy Evaluation in Urban Park - On the 2·28 Memorial Park in Daegu - (도심공원 이용 후 평가를 통한 이용 만족도와 이미지 평가 - 대구 2·28기념중앙공원을 대상으로 -)

  • This paper deals with Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) of 2.28 Memorial Park in Daegu. The park is located in center of the city. The results and discussions could be used as basic data for urban park planning and design, in CBD. A questionnaire was conducted for 15 days from May 11, to May 26, 2016, and a sample group consisting of 230 on site users. The behavior, satisfaction, and preference of space image, were surveyed. The behavior analysis, satisfaction, and image evaluation questionnaire were derived using previous studies, and reliability, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS. As a result, the items were very reliable, causal factors were extracted, and the variables that affect satisfaction and image preference were able to be identified. In the 2.28 Memorial Park, user satisfaction and image evaluation value were very high in most items. As a result of the assessment, the green-water landscape factors and cleanness factors, which have the greatest influence on satisfaction and preference, should be continuously maintained. Due to the characteristics of the city center parks, the users of the parks also felt environmental problems in the urban areas, so the users assessed noise levels, plant species, and air quality at a low level. Therefore, to solve this, plans such as noise abatement and extension of green space should be ongoing.
