We studied the synthesis of S $i_{1-x}$ Cx (x=0.016) epitaxial layer using ion implantation and solid phase epitaxy (SPE). The activation energy Ea was obtained for the loss of substitutional carbon using fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and high-resolution x-ray diffraction (HR-XRD). In FTIR analysis, the integrated peak intensity was used to quantify the loss of carbon atoms from substitutional to interstitial sites during annealing. The substitutional carbon contents in S $i_{0.984}$ $C_{0.016}$ were also measured using HR-XRD. By dynamic simulations of x-ray rocking curves, the fraction of substitutional carbon was obtained. The effects of annealing temperature and time were also studied by comparing vacuum furnace annealing with rapid thermal annealing (RTA))))))

본 논문에서는 태양광발전의 3상 인버터의 동작특성을 해석하기 위하여, d-q좌표변환을 통하여 상태방정식을 유도하고, 출력제어를 위한 PI제어기를 갖은 전류제어 알고리즘과 인버터 설계에 대한 Sinusoidal PWM방식의 이론적 알고리즘 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 배전계통의 상용소프트웨어인 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 태양광발전의 모델링을 수행하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션 결과와 이론적인 수치 해석과의 비교, 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 제시한 모델링의 유효성을 확인하였다.

액상 보일러 및 가열로 등에서 발생되어 연소기기 내부에 침적되는 슈트, 슬래그, 크랭커, 회분, 산화물의 on-line 세정을 위한 세정제의 제조에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 고상, 액상, 기상연료를 사용하는 보일러 및 가열로에 생성되는 슈트, 슬래그, 크랭커, 회분, 산화물을 제거하는 기술은 보일러 및 가열로의 가동 중단 후 작업자들에 의한 기계적인 처리를 통하여 슈트를 제거하는 기술을 대치할 수 있고 보일러의 중단이 없는 상태에서 침적물을 세정할 수 있는 세정제의 최적고성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 주 세정제로는 질산암모늄을 사용하였으며, 각종 전이금속에 의한 연향을 연구하였다.

We present a powerful error control decoder which can be used in all of the commercial DVD systems. The decoder exploits the error information from the modulation decoder in order to increase the error correcting capability. We can identify that the modulation decoder in DVD system can detect errors more than $60\%$ of total errors when burst errors are occurred. In results, fur a decoded block, error correcting capability of the proposed scheme is improved up to $25\%$ more than that of the original error control decoder. In addition, the more the burst error length is increased, the better the decoder performance. Also, a pipeline-balanced RSPC decoder with a low hardware complexity is designed to maximize the throughput. The maximum throughput of the RSPC decoder is 740Mbps@100MHz and the number of gate counts is 20.3K for RS (182, 172, 11) decoder and 30.7K for RS (208, 192, 17) decoder, respectively

In this study, several basic data for road design and GIS data were used for selecting the optimized road alignment database system. The cut and fill volumes were compared with existing manual road design method through the analysis and data application in this database system. We solved and estimated objective, economic, environmental and technical problems caused in road construction comparing existing manual method with the road alignment which was selected in GIS automatically. Also, we performed three dimensional simulation with the existing road design program and simulation of virtual reality through Virtual GIS. This study showed the method in selecting the optimized road alignment through the analysis and comparison of the selected road alignment. The goal of this study is comparison and analysis of definite cut and fill volume and environmental problem after the road construction through analyzing and comparing the social, economic, technical and environmental aspect in the road alignments with various statistic data.

This paper describes preliminary discussions on spatial distribution of NO density, which is mostly contained in simulated NOx exhaust, between a wire-cylinder geometry discharge gaps by using Laser Induced Fluorescence(LIF) Spectroscopy, Spatial distribution of NO density will be measured with varying NO concentrations from 166 to 644 [ppm] and diameters of central electrode from 6 to 10mm. Pulsed Nd:YAG laser. Optical Parametric Oscillator(OPO), and Frequency Doubler are used to excite NO molecules to their excited state.

In this study accelerated aging test equipment was developed to simulate domestic weather condition for accelerated aging test of polymer housed distribution surge arresters. Polymer arresters were aged for 3,000 hours by this test equipment and chemical and electrical characteristics analysis of surge arresters were conducted after aging test. In addition, performance assessment of outdoor installed arresters for 3 years was conducted to compare aging effect between accelerated aging test and natural aging. Through this experiment it is verified that the capability of the proposed aging test for simulating natural aging and the housing material and disconnector of domestic polymer arresters can be deteriorated by the long time field operation.

The objective of this study is to verify the hypothesis that cognitive process of railway drivers would be influenced by train speed. The hypothesis is tested by investigating railway drivers' cognitive processes at different speeds of a locomotion. The experiment shows that human performance of railway drivers decreases as the train speed becomes faster. In addition, simple signals outperformed complex signals at every train speed. Therefore, it is suggested to redesign complex signals simpler for improving drivers' human performance. It is also recommended that the Korean railway safety law should be revised to mention requirement of the signal design, especially for the fastest train including KTX. The implications of the experiments are discussed in detail.

A series of N-alkenyl pyrrolidine-2-thiones were synthesized by the reaction between pyrrolidine-2-thione and various aldehydes such as n-propanal, isopropanal, n-butanal, n-hexanal, n-octanal and phenylacetaldehyde in 32-86% yields using microwave irradiation technique. Only one structural E isomers were predominantly formed within 15 minutes in chlorobenezene?/p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate.
