This paper analyzes the implementation of a Knowledge Management System, which helps an organization to share information. Beginning with an overview of the theoretical concepts and types of Knowledge Management System, this paper goes on to describe related information technologies in detail. This paper then proceeds to evaluate the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy's (KIEP) Research Management System as a model, analyzing the purpose, system framework and operation. This study then concludes that in general existing information technologies are sufficient for an organization to build an efficient Knowledge Management System. However, the majority of individuals are currently not fully aware of the importance of sharing individual knowledge and information throughout an organization. Until this reluctance and ignorance is overcome the process of expanding the Knowledge Management System will be a slow and arduous endeavor.

Today, most companies are needed to become interested on e-Biz and information management system. Especially, Data classification format system was very important for application to effective and efficiency management decision support. They should include main entry which consists of department, employee's name, title, publication date. Now, each company is using eleven different methods on data classification format system. In this paper finding result was as follows, in other words, general management document case using the nine date classification methods and special report management document ca se using the twodata classification methods. The aim of this study is to investigate problems that the present data classification format system has and some concerns that should be taken into account in case of the modification of the data classification system and change into a new one. This study is based on the survey in that the company managergave to 35 companies throughout the nation. As a result, the survey indicates that the crucial concerns of the participating managers are ineffective management information source and the duplication of data classification systems. This paper is the transcendental study the introduction of data classification format systems to business companies in Korea. This paper provided the fundamental data for the effective business process reengineering in business activity for management information.

Applicability of control theories to the efficient operation of accounting system is studied in this paper. Since managerial accounting has been developed along the progrees of control theory, management control theories are essential to explain important attributes of diverse accounting system. Basic concept of control is studied in depth and control systems are classified on the base of their special characteristics. And then the applicability of those control methods to accounting systems are discussed based on behavioral as well as management science approach. In the management science approach, accounting control models of production management, inventory management and R&D are designed with its unique quantitative characteristics. It, however, is very difficult to implement quantified control standards on the behavioral management side. Since most of variables considered on behavioral approach are non-quantitative, only discussion of the theoratical definition has been a main issue on previous studies. In this paper, practicability of the behavioral approach to the accounting control system is studied analyzing state variables and behavior variables of the control system. Theoratical base of the discussion are provided from control theories developed in organization theory and Economics. Basic objective of accounting control practice is to control qualitative human behavior represented by quantified figures while quantitative methods are prevailing over general accounting practice. Therefore, this paper tried to develope and integrate accounting control systems applicable to the behavioral management area as well as management science control side.

Today, the management environments of intelligence firm are changing the way of production planning and logistics management, and are changing the process of supply chain management system. This paper shows the development of information system software for intelligence enterprises is used in supply chain management for robot engineering industry. Specifically, supply chain management system in this paper has been developed to analyze the impact of multi plant and multi distribution environment, showing the process analysis and system development of hierarchical assembly manufacturing industry. In this paper we consider a production planning and distribution management system of intelligence firm in the supply chain. We focus on a capacitated production resource and distribution volume allocation problem, develop a mixed integer programming model, and propose an efficient heuristic procedure using a genetic algorithm to solve it efficiently. This method makes it possible for the population to reach the feasible approximate solution easily. The proposed regeneration procedures, which evaluate each infeasible chromosome, makes the solution converge to the feasible approximate solution quickly.

It is still difficult to share and utilize the information generated at each phase of a steel box girder production process due to the spatial gap and different level of management information. The physical distance results in the inefficiency of the information transmission, the accidental omission and typos of the relative information, and so on. Various levels of management information make it difficult to embody a new management system. Eventually, these factors incur the loss of cost and schedule and interrupt development of a new management system. This paper analyzes a current process and presents graphical process flow by using IDEF0. Based this analysis, the research for new production process and work breakdown structure (WBS) is conducted. At the end of this paper, the conceptual design of this system is suggested. Through new management system, it is expected that the model proposed in this study will improve the management process in the steel box production, and the improved process will reduce the redundant cost and schedule information, transmission and deposit generated by manual paper.

In this paper, a PMS(Pavement Management System) application is presented to control the LCC(Life Cycle Cost) of road pavement. The aim of this paper is to provide the decision makers with the planning information regarding maintenance strategies for efficient road pavement management. The validity of PMS application presented in this paper is investigated through case studies for conducted for 22 national highway road sections in Korea.

This paper is concerned with characteristics of Internet retailing and manufacturer's product development strategy using Internet retailing. This paper talks about the university curriculum for the education of management information systems in Korea. This paper especially develops a new model of the university curriculum based on the questionnaire from the fifteen universities, students, professors and field managers in information system development areas. This paper finally compares a new model with the existing curriculum of the domestic four-year universities.

The purpose of this paper is to provide the comprehensive review of empirical investigations in strategy content in healthcare organizations. Given the absence of relevant reviews in assessing an external validity of strategy content research in the healthcare industry, the paper, by taking convergent view, discern two main streams of research in the school of content: (1) the strategy-structure-performance (SSP) contingent, and (2) competitive strategies which test the propositions that business strategy, industry structure (IO economics). Finally, the paper suggests some future direction for research in this area.

This paper discusses the strategic concepts applied to integrated delivery system(IDS). IDS is rooted in vertical integration(VI) and strategic alliance(SA), but only few knows about the theoretical backbone of the IDS. The paper explains how VI and SA applies to IDS, then provides cases of IDS rooted in strategic concepts; Kaiser Permanante Model, Mayo Clinic Model, and ACO(Accountable Care Organizations). Finally the paper provides the implication of IDS on Korean healthcare delivery system.
