This paper describes the standardization of remote monitoring and controlling system for nursery electrical facilities. The proposed system have three operating modes of motoring, controlling, and fault-notifying. In fault-notifying mode, the local unit is designed to send messages on failure of the electrical facilities to the central computer, mobile phone, and pager. Also, the local unit is consisted of 24-input and 8-output port needed for monitoring and controlling the facilities. With the use of this standardized system, we could expect the effective management in every phase of nursery facilities.

Owing to the rapid development of economy and the higher living standard of people, electricity demands have growth and the peak load has been increased rapidly. To cope with this impacts and to reduce the cost of service,utilities are conserned about power load management program. This paper shows a scheme of power load control and the basic structure of direct load control system. And also radio control method using the public pager which is one of the best economical and serviceable method in techniques will be introduced briefly.

In tills paper, we design it decoder for the FLEX high speed paging protocol. The decoder that we design consists of a synchronizer, a de-interleaver, a error corrector and a packet builder In the FLEX protocol, a word is coded using HCH algorithm. In this design, we do not use a look-up table in order to decrease a chip area of the BCH decoder. The simulation result shows that the decoder is correctly designed

In this pager, the authors have implemented a blood flow simulator and a LDF(laser Doppler flowmeter) probe using self-mixing effect of the laser diode. The purpose of the blood flow simulator is to simulate microvascular blood flow in tissue. It consists of melinex film (thickness = $123\;{\mu}m$) which has similar optical characteristics to epidermis and porous polyethylene filter (Vyon, porosity 35%, mean pore size $50\;{\mu}m$, thickness=1 mm) which has similar optical characteristics to dermis. The blood flowmeter probe consists of laser diode(5 mW, 780 nm wavelength), CD lens(focal length 12 mm). current-to-voltage converter, highpass filter, and premplifier. It doesn't need optical fiber, therefore, implementation of the probe is simpler than conventional probe using optical fiber.

There are no products, systems to manage health and detect security for infant, the old and the weak in Korea. Recently, the concerns of parents are increasing more about all of children(baby, infant, etc) because rate of birth is decreasing gradually. Also, the average span of human life is on an increasing trend according to well-being and evolution of medical treatment. Therefore, this treatise analyzed problems in managing and following-up infant, the old and the weak at present. By using TRIZ to solve problems, we devised new conceptional ideas, detail designs to manage health, detect security, cope with correspondences for them and developed the prototype and tested it. Excellent performances are proved through various field test.

As the maximum power operating point(MPOP) of Photovoltaic(PV) power generation systems changes with changing atmospheric conditions such as solar radiation and temperature, an important consideration. In the design of efficient PV system is to track the MPOP correctly. Many maximum power point tracking(MPPT) techniques have been considered in the past, however, techniques using microprocessors with appropriate MPPT algorithms are favored because of their flexibility and compatibility with different PV arrays. Although the efficiency of these MPPT algorithms is usually high, it drops noticeably in case of rapidly changing atmospheric conditions. This pager proposed a new MPPT algorithm based on perturb & observe(P&O) algorithm with experiment. The results shows that the new P&O algorithm has successfully tracked the MPOP, even in case of rapidly changing atmospheric conditions, and has higher efficiency than ordinary algorithms.

본 연구는 중량 20그램의 무선조종 초소형 날갯짓 비행체를 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 본 날갯짓 비행체는 3채널 방식의 무선조종을 사용하였고, 리튬 폴리머 배터리로 두 개의 DC 페이저 모터를 구동하여 35cm 크기의 날개로 날 수 있도록 하였다. 플래핑 운동만 적용된 날갯짓 비행체의 성능은 비행시험으로 입증되었다. 비행시험 결과는 비행체의 추진에 필요한 충분한 추력이 발생하도록 개발되었다는 것을 나타낸다.

다양한 가상공간에 산재하는 많은 분산자원들을 보다 효과적으로 활용하기 위하여 여러 프로토콜들이 개발되어 왔다. 이 연구는 분산 정보자원 검색과 갱신을 위한 SRU, SRU Record Update 프로토콜의 개발 배경, 기능, 구성 요소 등을 살펴봄으로 새로운 표준 프로토콜에 대한 이해를 넓히기 위함이다. 또한 다른 프로토콜과의 비교 및 실제 구현 사례 등을 통하여 자관의 정보자원을 외부에 효과적으로 제공하고, 외부 정보자원을 적절히 활용하려는 도서관 및 정보서비스 기관들에게 상호운용성 보장을 위한 실제적인 방안을 제시하기 위함이다.

With a remarkable expansion of communication industry, a pager or a cellular phone becomes a necessary communication device in modern society. However, a paging signal by a buzzer is often acted as an unpleasant noise in some places, thus necessitating a paging signal by a vibration motor. In this paper, a simpler type of a vibration motor, a coreless permanent magnet(PM) DC motor, is considered to substitute for the conventional vibration motors. Using an analytical method, electromagnetic field and operating torque were calculated for the given inner and outer PM type motors, and the results were confirmed by FEM analysis. As design parameters, number of PM poles, PM radial thickness, coil arc angle and number of winding stacks were chosen for sensitivity analysis. It shows that coil arc angle is the most important design parameter to increase the motor performance, without giving an adverse effect on motor weight, size and manufacturing cost. Based on the analysis of the outer PM type motor, an outer square PM type motor is proposed as the final design. Compared to the outer PM type, outer square type provides more flexibility to attach to the small size cellular phones. With the optimum design of square outer PM DC motor, it can successfully substitute the conventional types with less expensive manufacturing cost. better performance and smaller necessary space.

본 논문에서는 UML에 기반한 객체지향적 모형화에 의하여 인터넷에 기반한 원격 시험 시스템의 체계적인 분석 및 설계를 제시한다. 본 시스템은 기본적으로 교수가 문제를 출제하는 문제 출제부와 학생이 문제 에 응시하는 문제 풀이부로 구성된다. 객체지향에 기반하여 설계하고 설계과정에서 UML을 사용하여 설계 내용을 표현함으로써 객체지향적 설계의 장점인 체계적인 설계와 재사용성, 특정 프로그래밍 언어에의 의존성 등을 확보함으로써 개발과 테스팅, 수정, 보완에 있어서 효율성과 비용 절감을 얻을 수 있다. 또한 본 논문에서의 원격 시험 시스템은 원격 교육 시스템에 적용시킬 수 있으며, 기존의 오프라인 시험의 대치 또는 인터넷에 기반한 설문조사를 시행하는 시스템으로의 전환도 가능하여 다양한 분야에 적용이 가능하다.
