ZVT 스위칭 기법을 적용한 PFC-인버터 (A Study on the PFC-Inverter with the ZVT-Switching Method)

  • 최근 들어 인버터 에어컨과 같은 유도전동기 구동 분야에서 인버터에 역달제어회로를 부가한 PFC 인버터에 대한 논의가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 PFC 인버터의 효율을 개선하기 위하여 ZVT 스위칭 기법을 적용하는 방법에 대하여 논하고, 이ㅡㄹㄹ 동작 모드에 따른 해석과 함께 최적의 회로를 설계하였으며, 제안된 회로를 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 그 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • Recently, a fuel cell with low voltage and high current of electronic output characteristics is remarkable for new generation system. It needs both a dc-dc boost converter and do-ac inverter to be used in domestic power. Therefore, this paper presents do-dc boost converter with ZVS for fuel cell generation system This topology has several advantages, which are ZVS characteristics of all of main and auxiliary switches, reduction of reactor component size because of high frequency switching, and low rated voltage stress of the switches. In this paper, theoretical analysis, operation principle, and design procedures are presented. And simulation results from Pspice are presented to validate the theoretical analysis.

전계방전형 외부전극 형광램프의 모델과 구동특성 (A Study on the Impedance Model and Driving Performance for the Electrical Discharge Type External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp)

  • A impedance model simulating the electrical characteristics of the External Electrode fluorescent lamp operated at high frequency is proposed. The model is constructed from a two parameter equation which is derived based on a set of two measurements. This is a readily constructed and computer simulator oriented model which is suitable for a preliminary design of electronic ballasts. Simulated and experimental results are used to verify the analytical discussions, and moreover, an electronic ballast design example using the proposed model is presented to further demonstrate its application.

  • An active-C biquadratic filter structure is proposed which consists of only seven OTAs and two grounded capacitors. The proposed circuit can simultaneously realize lowpass, bandpass and highpass transfer functions without changing circuit topology. This technique provides many advantages which include low passive and active sensitivities and, moreover, its Q-factor is electronically tunable and separately from the tuning of the natural angular frequency ${\omega}_o$. PSPICE simulation results are obtained that confirm the theoretical analysis.

  • In this article, the realization of a precision full-wave rectifier circuit for analog signal processing, which operates throughout in the current domain, is presented. The circuit makes use of a MOS class B/AB configuration, and provides a wide dynamic range and wide-band capability. The rectifier has a simple circuit configuration and is suitable for implementing in CMOS integrated circuit form as versatile building block. The characteristic of the circuit exhibits a low distortion en the output signal at low level input signal. PSPICE simulation results demonstrating the characteristic of the proposed circuit are included.

  • In this paper, we proposed the alternated forward multi-resonant converter. It can reduce the voltage stress due to the operation of two multi resonant switches and also provides a high frequency applications. The proposed circuit is verified through the PSpice simulation and the 50W experimental set with 2MHz maximum frequency. The measured voltage stress is up to 170V of 2.9 times the input voltage and the efficiency is about 81.66% at low line.

  • In order to obtain various waveforms of current pulse applied at the flashlamp, we have fabricated a Pulsed Nd:YAG laser by PFN with multiple-mesh formed LC network. we have obtained various waveforms of current pulse by adjusting the values of L and C, compared these waveforms of current pulse with laser beam, and then analyzed the laser output energy. We have got relations for $E_{TH}$ and $E_L$ at each mesh which supplies energy with flashlamp and found that output of Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser for 2-mesh, 5-mesh coincided with computer's simulation, PSPICE.

  • Three phase full bridge rectifier has been used to obtain dc voltage from three phase ac voltage source. The rectifier system has drawbacks that power factor is low and power flow is unidirectional. Therefore, when dc voltage increases due to regeneration of power the dynamic resister for dissipation of regeneration power must be installed. But three phase PWM converter can be controlled to operate with unity power factor and bidirectional power flow. Therefore when the PWM converter is used as do supply system, the dissipating resistor is not necessary. On this thesis, in order to design a controller having good performance, the hee phase PWM converter is completely modeled by using circuit DQ-transformation and thus a general and simple instructive equivalent circuit is obtained; the inductor set becomes a second order gyrator-coupled system and three phase inverter becomes a transformer as well. Under given phase angle(${\alpha}$) and modulation index(MI) of the three phase inverter, the dc and ac characteristics are obtained by analysis of the transformed equivalent circuit The validity of the equivalent circuit is confirmed through PSPICE simulation. And based on the dc and ac characteristics a controller with unity power factor is proposed.

New CMOS Fully-Differential Transconductor and Application to a Fully-Differential Gm-C Filter

  • A new CMOS voltage-controlled fully-differential transconductor is presented. The basic structure of the proposed transconductor is based on a four-MOS transistor cell operating in the triode or saturation region. It achieves a high linearity range of ${\pm}\;1\;V$ at a 1.5 V supply voltage. The proposed transconductor is used to realize a new fully-differential Gm-C low-pass filter with a minimum number of transconductors and grounded capacitors. PSpice simulation results for the transconductor circuit and its filter application indicating the linearity range and verifying the analytical results using $0.35\;{\mu}m$ technology are also given.

저항성 단락과 개방 결함을 갖는 메모리에 대한 동작분석과 효율적인 테스트 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A study on behavioral analysis and efficient test algorithm for memory with resistive short and open defects)

  • To increase the functionality of the memories, previous studies have deifned faults models and proposed functional testing algorithms with low complexity. Although conventional testing depended strongly on functional (voltage) testing method, it couldn't detect short and open defects caused by gate oxide short and spot defect which can afect memory reliability. Therefore, IDDQ (quiescent power supply current) testing is required to detect defects and thus can obtain high reliability. In this paper, we consider resistive shorts on gate-source, gate-drain, and drain-source as well as opens in mOS FET and observe behavior of the memory by analyzing voltage at storge nodes of the memory and IDDQ resulting from PSPICE simulation. Finally, using this behavioral analysis, we propose a linear testing algorithm of complexity O(N) which can be applicable to both functional testing and IDDQ testing simultaneously to obtain high functionality and reliability.
