  • 본 논문에서는 유전알고리즘을 기반으로 하여 설계된 광 디스크 드라이브의 광학헤드 구동기용 퍼지 PI/PD 제어기를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 제어기는 광디스크 드라이브의 광학헤드용 구동기의 포커싱 서보계, 트랙킹 서보계를 제어할 수 있는 퍼지 제어기이며 유전알고리즘을 통해 최적의 퍼지 규칙을 도출한다. 그리고 이를 토대로 모의실험을 수행한다.

An Observational Multi-Center Study Protocol for Distribution of Pattern Identification and Clinical Index in Parkinson's Disease (파킨슨병 변증 유형 및 지표 분포에 대한 전향적 다기관 관찰연구 프로토콜)

  • Objectives: This study investigated the pattern identification (PI) and clinical index of Parkinson's disease (PD) for personalized diagnosis and treatment. Methods: This prospective observational multi-center study recruited 100 patients diagnosed with PD from two Korean medicine hospitals. To cluster new subtypes of PD, items on a PI questionnaire (heat and cold, deficiency and excess, visceral PI) were evaluated along with pulse and tongue analysis. Gait analysis was performed and blood and feces molecular signature changes were assessed to explore biomarkers for new subtypes. In addition, unified PD rating scale II and III scores and the European quality of life 5-dimension questionnaire were assessed. Results: The clinical index obtained in this study analyzed the frequency statistics and hierarchical clustering analysis to classify new subtypes based on PI. Moreover, the biomarkers and current status of herbal medicine treatment were analyzed using the new subtypes. The results provide comprehensive data to investigate new subtypes and subtype-based biomarkers for the personalized diagnosis and treatment of PD patients. Ethical approval was obtained from the medical ethics committees of the two Korean medicine hospitals. All amendments to the research protocol were submitted and approved. Conclusions: An objective and standardized diagnostic tool is needed for the personalized treatment of PD by traditional Korean medicine. Therefore, we developed a clinical index as the basis for the PI clinical evaluation of PD. (The Speed Control of Induction Motor using PD Controller and Neural Networks) (PD 제어기와 신경회로망을 이용한 유도전동기의 속도제어)

  • This paper presents the implementation of the speed control system for 3 phase induction motor using PD controller and neural networks. The PD controller is used to control the motor and to train neural networks at the first time. And neural networks are widely used as controllers because of a nonlinear mapping capability, we used feedforward neural networks(FNN) in order to simply design the speed control system of the 3 phase induction motor. Neural networks are tuned online using the speed reference, actual speed measured from an encoder and control input current to motor. PD controller and neural networks are applied to the speed control system for 3 phase induction motor, are compared with PI controller through computer simulation and experiment respectively. The results are illustrated that the output of the PD controller is decreased and feedforward neural networks act main controller, and the proposed hybrid controllers show better performance than the PI controller in abrupt load variation and the precise control is possible because the steady state error can be minimized by training neural networks.

Optimum Tuning of PID-PD Controller considering Robust Stability and Sensor Noise Insensitivity (센서 잡음 저감도 및 안정-강인성을 고려한 PID-PD 제어기의 최적 동조)

  • In this paper, we propose tuning method of PID-PD controller to satisfy design specifications in frequency domain as well as time domain. The proposed tuning method of PID-PD controller that consist of the convex set of PID and PI-PD controller controls the closed-loop response to locate between the step responses, and Bode magnitudes of closed-loop transfer functions controlled by PID and PI-PD controller. The controller is designed by the optimum tuning method to minimize the proposed specific cost function subject to sensor noise insensitivity and robust stability. Its effectiveness is examined by the case study and analysis.

  • This paper describes a development of self tuning scheme for PI and PO type fuzzy controllers. The output scaling factor(SF) is adjusted on-line by fuzzy rules according to the current trend of the controlled process. The rule-base for tuning the output SF is defined on error and change of error for the controlled variable using the most natural and unbiased membership functions. Simulation results demonstrate the better control performance can be achieved in comparison with Ziegler-Nichols(Z-N) PID controllers.

  • PD-L1 is expressed in a variety of antigen-presenting cells and provides T cell tolerance via ligation with its receptor PD-1 and B7-1 on T cells. Stimulation with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) can increase the level of PD-L1 expression in B cells and macrophages, which suggests that this molecule plays a role in the immunosuppression observed in severe sepsis. The aim of this study was to identify which of the downstream pathways of TLR4 are involved in the up-regulation of PD-L1 by LPS in macrophages. Flow cytometry was used to examine the expression of PD-L1 in RAW 264.7 macrophages stimulated with LPS. The following chemical inhibitors were used to evaluate the role of each pathway: LY294002 for PI3K/Akt, SB202190 for p38 MAPK, and U0126 for MEK. LPS induced the expression of PD-L1 in a time- and dose-dependent manner. Transfection of siRNA for TLR4 suppressed the induction of PD-L1. Pretreatment with LY294002 and SB202190 decreased the level of PD-L1 expression but U0126 did not. Overall, the PI3K/Akt and p38 MAPK pathways are involved in the up-regulation of PD-L1 expression in RAW 264.7 macrophages stimulated with LPS.

Comparative study of proportional-integral, proportional-resonant, and predictive deadbeat controllers in a PV PCS (태양광 전력변환장치의 PI, PR 및 PD 제어기 비교 연구)

  • In industry, there are several different controllers which can be implemented for power conditioning systems (PCS) such as proportional-resonant (PR), predictive deadbeat (PD), or proportional-integral (PI) controller. But there are not any comparison studies about these controllers. To investigate the differences between the three types of the controllers, this paper presents a comparative study of PR, PI, and PD controllers in a photovoltaic (PV) PCS. These controllers are designed mathematically and simulated for the comparative analysis. The PI controller is designed in the rotating reference (dq) frame. The PR and PD controllers are implemented in the natural (abc) reference frame. The PCS is composed of a DC-DC boost converter and a full bridge inverter. The filter of the PCS is an LCL filter including a passive damping resistor. The parameters of PCS are 3 kW, 25 kHz switching frequency and 220 V-60 Hz grid voltage. The comparison results between these controllers for the grid-connected PCS are clearly shown. The simulation results demonstrate the detailed characteristics of each controller for the PV PCS in order to choose the controller for individual target properly.

  • In this paper, a new PID fuzzy controller (FC) is presented. The linguistic control rules of PID FC is separated into two parts : one is $e-{\Delta}e$ part, and the other is ${\Delta}^2e-{\Delta}e$ part. And then two FCs employing these rule base indivisually are synthesized. The control input to the process is decided by taking weighted mean of the outputs of two FCs. The proposed PID FC improve the transient response of the system and gives better performance than the conventional PI FC.

  • This paper describes a method of approximate reasoning for fuzzy control of servo system, based on decomposition of -level fuzzy sets. It is propose that logic circuits for fuzzy PI+PD are a body from fuzzy inference to defuzzificaion in cases where the output variable u directly is generated PWM. The effectiveness for robust and faster response of the fuzzy control scheme is verified for a variable parameter by comparison with a PID control and fuzzy control. A position control of DC servo system with a fuzzy logic controller successfully demonstrated.
