  • On the emergence of ISDN which has been introduced in the year 1980, various services are supported. This paper presents implementation of ISDN user/network protocol analyzer based on PC-extension card. Firmware and software are loaded on the PC-extension card using PC 05. The performance analysis on D-channel signalling on this system is surveyed. The monitoring results satisfiy with ISDN BRI or PRI interfaces.

  • The existing fixed telematics facilities for car were restricting of efficiency, utilization, communication, possibility, so it become disconnected with reality in the domestic and foreign market within thy near future, like as the case of 'car-phone'. It is too difficult to make a various business model on the restrict basis. To solve these problems, We suggested Tablet PC system as a new mobile telematics platform. The telematics platform based on the Tablet PC realize the perfect office, because it shows an excellent portability, high power and extension, various input equipment, and environment of communication in the car. To realize this concreteness, it needs a proper marketing strategy for a new business model. For this purpose, We analyzed the structure of industry, selected a proper target market, and established the strategy of marketing. Additionally, We proposed new business models ; particularly Portal site, Car-Home network, Car Software Tuning, and T-Vaccine(Intelligent Car Inspection System). These are made possible by the only Tablet PC platform.

  • A intercepting program of Black List Filtering System is widely used for blocking the harmful information in the internet. Hut The Black List Filtering System give rise to reduce the performance of Client PC. In this thesis the author proposes the good way to solve a problem of the Black List Filtering System. Keep to the point that is puting the black List into The Black List Serve on Client/server Environment and building Black List into Client PC in use of revisiting pattern of web-user. The best effect that tried to Solve the problem in the experiment concerning the thesis is presented not only to maintain the performance of Client PC, but also to improve the speed of performance of Client PC.

  • Recently, the requirements of large-dynamic management systems are increasing in multi-PC convergence environment because such system are out. In this research, it has been studied that the regression algorithm was applied instantly for abnormal state and the priority threshold process module was implemented. The system was optimized and become efficiently through the software design and implementation for multi-PC management. As a result, it has been possible for least person and system to manage a lot of requirements.

  • In this paper, an automatic welding system is developed. In the developed system, an automatic welding system is remotely controlled by a portable panel PC. Additional, the DB system such as the operating condition and control data of automatic welding carriage is developed by ATMega128. Therefore, the developed system can overcome the restriction of operating condition, and reduce the weight of welding system and the risk of safety. The effectiveness of the developed system has been verified by the simulation and experimental results respectively.

  • In this research, an Electronic White Board Control System is developed that stores and prints the data written on the white board. This control system is constructed using an embedded single board PC, whose function is the acquisition(from CCD image sensor system), processing and storing of the data on the screen. The properties of this system are as follows: 1. The system is able to move the screen on the right and left. 2. The system is able to output the data written on the screen to a connected printer. 3. The system is controlled by an external remote PC connected to the system by serial line as well as by the keys on the control panel.   • The greenhouse control system is designed by personal computer. This system should observe and control the growth conditions for crops in both plastic film and glass greenhouses. In this contribution puts emphasis on graphical user interface for greenhouse control system by personal computer under the aim of creating safer, more effective and more economical services. This system is developed for the requirements of the intelligent greenhouse control system and gives a lot of convenience for farmer who is not familiar with pc technique. The GUI and control system are programmed by Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

  • In this study, PC-based FEA system (Micro-STANS) running on the 16 bit microcomputer is developed. This system has powerful pre & post processing function using computer graphics, and is interfaced to AutoCAD system which is most popular PC-CAD system, making it possible to accomplish the concept of real integration between design and analysis. This system which has truss , beam plate & shell elements in the element library, can perform linear static analysis.

  • PCs and its peripherals uses more power in standby mode even if they are not actually being used. In particular, PCs and its peripherals used in school and office, plugged in at all times during working hours, but not used much time, even if turned off consume a portion of the power. In this paper, we developed Networked Smart Plug for Power Management of PC & Peripherals which is consist of EMS, Smart Plug, PC Agent and Smart Phone App. for power saving of PC and a variety of peripheral devices in office or home, and evaluated the performance of the system.

  • A preconditioned Navier-Stokes code was parallelized by the domain decomposition technique, and the accuracy of the parallelized code was verified through a comparison with the result of a sequential code and experimental data. Parallel performance of the code was examined on a Myrinet based PC-cluster and a Fast-Ethernet system. Speed-up ratio was examined as a major performance parameter depending on the number of processor and the network communication topology. In this test, Myrinet system shows a superior parallel performance to the Fast-Ethernet system as was expected. A test for the dependency on problem size also shows that network communication speed in a crucial factor for parallel performance, and the Myrinet based PC-cluster is a plausible candidate for high performance parallel computing system.
