미불의 춘산서송도<春山瑞松圖> 분석 -'화중유시 (畵中有詩)' 의 특성을 중심으로- (An Analysis of 'Chunsansoesong' by Mi Fu - Underlining the Poem within the Painting -)

  • Mi Fu, who was associated with Wen Tong, invented the Mijoem Technique (Dotting Technique) in landscape painting with his son Mi Youren. His landscapes, which referred to Dong Yuan's landscape technique and was inspired by the scenery of Jiang Nan, illustrate the mood of a cloud-covered foggy landscape by liberally applying dots with ink. 'Chunsansoesong' which is considered done by Mi Fu, clearly shows the virtues of ink painting's spreading, absorbing and omission techniques. This simply rendered landscape - whose mountains and hills are wrapped in both clouds and fog - displays exquisiteness by using small dots. In 'Chunsansoesong', the characteristics of Song painting: a 'vital energy', a 'poem within the painting', a 'beauty of margin', a 'beauty of one brush stroke, and a 'display of inner meanings' are implicatively expressed This is because it's simple but connotatively delineative. There is the characteristic of a 'poem within the painting' when analyzing the both fragmented and combined 'Chunsansoesong'. The margins support an imaginative space as the height of the mountains get higher which result in deepening both the width and depth of the landscape space. Furthermore, the soft thickness of ink, clouds, pine trees, and pavilion evoke delineative feelings and a desire to write a poem Every thing in 'Chunsansoesong' is enveloped in both clouds and fog regardless of its distance and this delivers boundless feelings of Oriental mystery and urges a desire for 'writing a poem'. The pavilion that faces the cloud and fog-bound mountains especially flames the poetic urge further by inducing viewers' poetic imaginations. As we reviewed above, 'Chunsansoesong's cloud and fog-covered landscape is a good example that clearly showcases the characteristics of a 'Poem within the Painting'.

고대 한.중.일 원지의 비교연구 - 최근 발굴된 원지를 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study of Ancient Palace Ponds of Korea, China and Japan - Focus on the Recent Excavated Palace Pond -)

  • The place of South Weol Dynastys authorities exhumed in the region of KangChoWu, China lies adjacent to a stone ditch through which water streams crookedly, and a dark trough of stone pond in the north side. There is a sharply curved stone ditch and a crescent-shaped water entrance made by stones. The place was separated by using stone columns and stone walls. There is a beam of ditch, a crooked entrance, a flat bridge of slate, a stepping-stone, a sluice gate, and a crooked corridor. There are big and small artificial islands, and reinforcing stone drainage way in the palace pond recently exhumed at the building site for the pavilion of Hwang-Yong Temple in Kuhwang-Dong, Gyeongju city, Korea. There are four facilities assumed to be entrance and exits at four corners and an open space on which gravel was spread extensively. A narrow road and a middle road with indefinite curves at the south of Asukakyoseki exhumed by the first, second and third and two stone buckets which one is to fill with water and the other is to drain water off like fountain are there, and besides wave protecting dam and north pond and the part that water pass were excavated. Palace ponds that were extensively distributed at old residential cities are a general phenomenon of countries in eastern Asia. Anap pond of Silla and Gungnam pond of Baekje were in Kroea. We believe that Asutnkyoseki is on the extension. Although more investigations in the background of thought and the genealogical relation about the palace pond are required, it seems that an idea was surely received from China.

경관농업지 경관계획 기준 연구 (A Study on the guideline of Visual Landscape Planning for Landscape Agricultural Region)

  • This study provides a physical indicator of landscape that can be guidelines so as to evaluate landscape agricultural region for visual landscape planning, finds out the guideline for visual landscape planning lastly through examining importance of indicators and the preference of each indicator of landscape. The physical landscape indicators were derived from document study and questionnaire survey to evaluate visual landscape on landscape agricultural region. In addition, field study was conducted to examine and inspect the physical landscape indicator, managers' interview and photograph was took for evaluating the landscape simulation. Moreover, the important elements for visual landscape planning of landscape agricultural region, the importance of physical landscape indicator and the preferences of each indicator were derived by conducting questionnaire to experts and general publics. The physical landscape indicator guideline was established from the following procedures. In case of the land, flat area had higher preference than steep region. So, planning an agricultural area at a flat region with open space will be better than establishing an agricultural area on a steep region. In case of the kind of landscape crops, For the background of landscape agricultural region, the seashore type had the highest preference and mountain type and non-background type was followed in order. According to the study, facilities built with natural elements such as straw-roofed pavilion received high preference. Therefore, look-out shed and straw-roofed pavilion should be introduced in the landscape agriculture planning to select materials and colors to keep harmony with the nature. The result of this study could be used as a best choice for improving visual landscape of landscape agricultural region on selecting suitable land, facilities and so on. Moreover, the results of manager interview could be used as a useful tool in the management and formation of visual landscape. The landscape point evaluating visual landscape of landscape agricultural region could be used as a reference for establishing relative guideline for the direct payment program for rural landscape conservation and landscape agreement. In addition, it could be a useful reference to improve the general landscape and revitalize the rural area.

국내 미래주택관을 통해서 본 미래 주거기능 경향 연구 - 수도권 미래주택관 5곳을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Future Dwelling Functions through Domestic Future House Pavilions - Focused on 5 cases of Future House Pavilion in the Metropolitan Area -)

  • With the emergence of the smart era, interest in future society and new dwelling spaces is growing. This research analyzes the planning items applied to future house pavilions in Korea to examine which functions will be more emphasized and considered importantly in the dwelling spaces. This research paper aims to identify those dwelling functions that will occupy greater importance from the users' point of view. As for the research methodology, it comprised a literature review and an analysis of case studies. The results of this research were as follows; 1) It was arranged that the dwelling functions were safety, amenity, convenience, independence, economics, society, relaxation, aesthetic appearance. 2) For future dwelling environments, environment-friendly technology for conservation of energy was important in addition to intellectual cutting edge technologies, 3) Safety was most basic among all dwelling functions, 4) Planning items related to amenity and economics were found to be most common, indicating that they were important functions in future dwelling environments, 5) With regard to convenience, planning items related to increasing efficiency of household chores through the application of ubiquitous technology were found to be most common, 6) There was no indication of planning items related to independence and society, 7) Cutting edge technology and emotional technology appear to be integrated in planning items related to relaxation and aesthetic appearance, and 8) Each future dwelling pavilion suggested that over 80% of the planning items were related to amenity, convenience, and economics. We expect that the results from our research will be useful in creating a life-centered design of future dwelling spaces that account for dwelling functions.

갑곶돈 일대 문화재 지역의 경관특징에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Landscape Characteristics of Cultural Heritage Area at the Gapgot Fortification in Ganghwa island)

  • 본 연구는 해안에 분포한 갑곶돈 일대 문화재 지역의 경관 특성을 살펴보기 위한 연구로 고문헌, 고지도, 근대의 사진자료를 분석하고 항공사진 촬영을 통해 현재 갑곶돈 일대의 경관을 살펴본 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 갑곶돈은 강화도를 진입하는 지리적 위치로 인해 강화도의 상징적 또는 실제적 관문요소로써의 역사적 가치를 지니고 있으며, 일대의 역사문화자원 또한 통과교통으로서의 장치 및 군사시설 등이 분포하였다. 둘째, 문헌 및 도상자료에 나타나는 갑곶돈 일대는 고려시대부터 군사시설 및 마을이 형성되어왔으며, 조선시대 강화외성의 축성 이후 갑곶돈의 진해루를 중심으로 마을이 확장되는 양상을 보이고 있었다. 셋째, 현재 갑곶돈 일대는 강화대교 진입에 따라 연속되는 해안경관이 조망되나 강화대교 인근의 경관저해요소는 개선사항으로 제시되었다.

선전과 소통 : 루치아노 발데사리의 브레다 전시관 계획에 관한 고찰 1951-1963 (A study on the Historical Significance of Luciano Baldessari's Pavilion Architecture for Breda)

  • Main theme of this paper is the evaluation of the historical significance of Luciano Baldessari's exhibition works mainly during the Fifties. In order to understand the formal and logical basis of those project, his relationship with the historical Avant-gardes and the consequences expressed in his pavilion projects for the Breda Industrial Company are analyzed. The first part focuses on the influence of Italian Futurism, German Expressionism and Italian Rationalism on the formation and experience of Baldessari during the interwar years. The encounter with these movements determine the interest but also the principles along which Baldessari represents his idea of object, space and place. Specially his professional activities during Fascism would determine his attitude toward political power and the necessity of autonomy in artistic sphere. In the second part, different themes that Baldessari affronted in each project of Breda Pavilions is analyzed. Another important issue regard the historiography of the contemporary architecture. Often, many important works that lies in the threshold of the disciplines such as painting and sculpture and media art were excluded in the history of architecture just because they do not deal with the architectural object. Recently, many elements such as theatrical project and temporary objects are considered as part of urban reality and architecture with acknowledgment of their capacity to create event and situations. Along this thought, not just the reconfiguration on the territory of architecture in present but also the criterion to evaluate the past history of architecture is changing drastically. This study on the pavilions of Baldessari intends to contribute indirectly on the current issue of dominion of architecture, but also to evaluate objectively recent architecture. Consequently, architectural protagonists such as Baldessari and their ephemeral projects would be evaluated compressively in their multiplicity of significance.

농촌마을 재생을 위한 정자쉼터 공간구조분석과 이용 후 평가 - 경산권, 김천권 정자쉼터를 대상으로 - (Spatial Structure Analysis and Post Occupancy Evaluation of Jungja(Pavilion) Shelter for Rural Village Regeneration - On the Jungja Shelter in Gimcheom city and Kyeongsan city -)

  • This study is to analyze the spatial structure and POE of Jungja(pavilion) shelter for rural village regeneration. 14 Jungja shelter space at rural villages in Gyungbuk province, were investigated. An interview questionnaire was conducted for total 139 residents as POE. The use behavior and satisfaction for Jungja shelter space, were investigated. The statistical analysis were mean of satisfactions, reliability, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results and discussions can be objective data for rural village regeneration. In satisfaction level, 'Continuous use intention'(3.99), 'Well-suited approach'(3.87), and 'Helpful in resident living'(3.84) were shown to be high points of agreement in 5 point Likert type scale. But, the mean points were low as 2.01 in 'Surrounding landscape', 'Creation of green areas'(3.22), and 'Traffic safety'(3.22), respectively. Within use satisfaction, 5 factors were categorized, 'Use', 'Safety', 'Facility', 'Management' and 'Users'. By the result of multiple regression analysis, variables of 'Continuous use', 'Convenient location', and 'Image improvement', were shown to be main affecting variables to overall satisfaction. Furthermore, in spatial structure analysis, 4 types were categorized with the aspect of landform, roads, and location in village. The levels of satisfaction were shown to be high in village type of semi-open, road type of circular, and location type of center/back. Conclusively, these findings could be utilized as basic data and useful tool of space-structural satisfaction analytic method, and for each stage of planning/design and remodeling for rural village regeneration.

광한루 편액시에 나타난 경관요소 분석 (Analysis of the Landscape Elements in the Poems on the Tablets of Kwanghanru)

  • 광한루 편액에 기록된 누정제영시는 작가의 경관관과 주변 경관에 대한 지각의 내용을 담고 있다. 본 연구는 편액시를 조선시대 문인들의 등루시, 1930년대의 백일장시/청탁시로 구분하여 시에 등장하는 경관구성요소들을 구성요소의 특성, 감각기관, 시간축 및 공간축 등 4가지 측면의 분석 틀을 기준으로 분석하였다. 경관요소를 분석하면 상징적 요소보다 물리적 요소의 빈도가 매우 높았으며, 물리적 요소 중에서는 자연적 요소의 출현빈도가 인공적 요소보다 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 개개의 시에 출현하는 경관요소는 조선시대 문인들의 등루시보다 백일장시/청탁시가 상대적으로 많았다. 시에 나타난 경관요소를 지각감각 측면에서 분석하면 시각적 요소가 거의 대부분을 차지하며, 청각, 후각적 요소도 일부 나타난다. 시간축으로 분석하면 계절적 측면에서는 가을의 표현이 많았으며, 시간대는 저녁과 밤 시간대 표현이 많았다. 공간축에서는 근경요소가 원경, 중경 요소보다 높았다.

평안감사향연도(平安監司饗宴圖)의 채색 재료 특성 연구 -연광정연회도(練光亭宴會圖)를 중심으로- (A Study of the Characteristics of Painting Materials Used in Welcome Feast for the Pyeongan Governor: Focusing on Banquet at Yeongwangjeong Pavilion)

  • 본 연구에서는 조선 후기 기록화인 《평안감사향연도》 총 3점 중 <연광정연회도>를 분석하여 채색 재료를 규명했다. 포인트 위주의 분석으로 인해 발생 가능한 문제를 최소화하고자 우선 파장별 이미지를 촬영했다. 엑스선을 통해 먹, 금, 유·무기 안료를 분류했고, 적외선으로 먹과 구리계 안료를 파악했다. 초분광으로는 흑색, 청색, 녹색 재료 중에서 안료와 유기 염료를 구별해냈다. 색상별 선정 지점을 분석하여 백색(연백), 흑색(먹/쪽), 적색(연단+진사), 분홍색(염료), 자주색(염료), 갈색(산화철), 황색(석황/염료), 녹색(석록/석록+염료/쪽)과 청색(석청/연백+쪽/쪽), 자색(쪽+연지), 금색(금박) 등의 재료를 규명했다. 향후 파장별 라이브러리가 확보되면 더 효율적인 분석이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

중국 영남지방 여음산방 원림의 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Yuyin ShanFang in China Lǐngnán Region)

  • 본 연구는 중국 영남지방의 4대 명원 가운데 하나인 여음산방에 대해 현지조사와 시문 분석 등을 수행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 여음산방의 조영자는 우빈(?彬 1824~1897)이며, 원림 면적은 $1,598m^2$이다. 우빈은 원림의 이름을 '여음(餘蔭)'이라고 하였는데 그 뜻은 조상의 음덕을 의미하였다. 둘째, 조영자가 쓴 시문을 분석해 보면, 미래 이상세계를 표현한 시문, 가문에 대한 오복사상을 표현한 시문, 그리고 풍류사상에 대한 시문으로 분류할 수 있었다. 셋째, 여음산방의 건축물의 배치와 공간구성의 특징을 분석해 본 결과, 부지 한가운데 사당건물(善言?公)을 중심으로 남쪽에 펼쳐진 공간은 주로 거주하는 공간이며, 북쪽에 펼쳐진 공간은 주로 제사와 관련된 공간이었다. 넷째, 여음산방의 공간구성요소를 분석해 본 결과이다. 정자부분은 원림에 지정(池亭)인 한취정(閒趣亭), 후화원(後花園)에 유상곡수연을 표현한 계상정(?賞亭), 독특한 반정(半亭) 형태인 내훈정(來熹亭) 등을 조영한 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 여음산방에는 형태가 매우 다양한 연못을 5개소 조성하였으며 기학적인 경계선을 가지는 것은 특징이다. 여섯째, 여음산방의 석가산은 괘방청산(掛榜靑山)이라고 하였는데, 과거시험에 합격한 사람의 이름을 적어서 붙이는(괘방) 곳이 곧, 이 석가산(청산)이라는 의미를 갖고 있다. 일곱째, 여음산방의 화창은 나무로 만든 문격창(紋格?)과 격단창(隔斷?) 등이 특징이며, 색채유리창(色彩?璃?)은 쑤저우 원림과 또 다른 차이점을 보이고 있다. 여덟째, 동문 양식은 쑤저우 고전원림의 동문 양식에 비해 다양하지 않은 편이지만, 동문 전면(前面)에 적혀있는 시문 장식물의 다양한 형태와 화려한 색채가 특징이다. 아홉째, 여음산방 원림에 설치된 건물장식용 조각예술품들이 표현된 주제를 분류해 보면 길상, 문자, 도교 팔선, 동식물, 설화와 기타 등으로 분류할 수 있다. 마지막으로 여음산방에 식재된 수목들은 주로 아열대식물이고 이중에 상징적 의미를 가진 수목도 있으며, 날씨가 좋기 때문에 과일나무를 많이 심었다.
