This work proposes a dual-channel 6b 1GS/s ADC for ultra wide-band communication system applications. The proposed ADC based on a 6b interpolated flash architecture employs wide-band open-loop track-and-hold amplifiers, comparators with a wide-range differential difference pre-amplifier, latches with reduced kickback noise, on-chip CMOS references, and digital bubble-code correction circuits to optimize power, chip area, and accuracy at 1GS/s. The ADC implemented in a 0.18um 1P6M CMOS technology shows a signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio of 30dB and a spurious-free dynamic range of 39dB at 1GS/s. The measured differential and integral non-linearities of the prototype ADC are within 1.0LSB and 1.3LSB, respectively. The dual-channel ADC has an active area of $4.0mm^2$ and consumes 594mW at 1GS/s and 1.8V.

This paper describes the design of low power 12bit Digital-to-Analog Converter(D/A Converter) using Pseudo-Segmentation method which shows the conversion rate of 80MHz and the power supply of 1.8V with 0.18um CMOS n-well 1-poly 6-metal process for advanced wireless communication system. Pseudo-segmentation method used in binary decoder consists of simple parallel buffer is employed for low power because of simpler configuration than that of thermometer decoder. Also, using deglitch circuit and swing reduced drivel reduces a switching noise. The measurement results of the proposed low power 12bit 80MHz CMOS D/A Converter shows SFDR is 66.01dBc at sampling frequency 80MHz, input frequency 1MHz and ENOB is 10.67bit. Integral nonlinearity(INL) / Differential nonlinearity(DNL) have been measured ${\pm}1.6LSB/{\pm}1.2LSB$. Glich energy is measured $49pV{\cdot}s$. Power dissipation is 46.8mW at 80MHz(Maximum sampling frequency) at a 1.8V power supply.

FHMA(frequency hopping multiple access) communication system has good performance for the LPI and AJ(low probability of intercept and anti-jamming) application. However, high PAPR(peak to average power ratio) happens in the base-station or the repeater system because of a large number of users. In general, predistorter is used to complete the HPA(high power amplifier) nonlinear characteristics. This paper analyzes BER performance when magnitude of IBO(input back oft) and the number of user are considered as the system parameters. In case of the SSPA(solid state power amplifier), the predistorter does not always work as a complete nonlinear compensator. We find that there is a minimum value of IBO for the predistorter to compensate for the nonlinear SSP A, which is changed as the number of user. If IBO is lower than 6 ㏈ at the user number of 16 and p=1, the system with predistorter is poorer than the one without predistorter. Only when the IBO is over 6 ㏈, predistorter does work as a nonlinear compensator. We call it as cross-over IBO value. TWTA improves the more compensation performance than SSPA because characteristic AM/AM of TWTA has more nonlinear than SSPA. At the BER=10$\^$-3/, there are SNR power gains of about 2.5 ㏈ and 3 ㏈ due to the predistorter when the numbers of users are 16 and 32, respectively.

In this paper, a fully printed NFC tag operating at 13.56 MHz was designed and fabricated using silver nano-paste and carbon ink. The proposed NFC tag has a printed coil with an inductance of $2.74{\mu}H$ on a PI film for application to an NFC tag IC with an internal capacitance of 50 pF. Screen printing technology used in this paper has advantages such as large area printing for mass production, low cost and eco-friendly process compared to conventional PCB manufacturing process. The proposed structure consists of a circular coil implemented as a single layer using silver nano-paste and carbon ink, a jumper pattern for chip mounting between the outer edge and the center of the coil, and an insulation pattern between the coil and the jumper pattern. In order to verify the performance of the proposed NFC tag, we performed the measurements of the printing line width, thickness, line resistance, adhesion and environmental reliability, and confirmed the suitability of the NFC tag based on the full-printed manufacturing method.

In this study, we propose a method to detect red tide Cochlodinium Polykrikoide using by machine learning and geostationary marine satellite images. To learn the machine learning model, GOCI Level 2 data were used, and the red tide location data of the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute was used. The machine learning model used logistic regression model, decision tree model, and random forest model. As a result of the performance evaluation, compared to the traditional GOCI image-based red tide detection algorithm without machine learning (Son et al., 2012) (75%), it was confirmed that the accuracy was improved by about 13~22%p (88~98%). In addition, as a result of comparing and analyzing the detection performance between machine learning models, the random forest model (98%) showed the highest detection accuracy. It is believed that this machine learning-based red tide detection algorithm can be used to detect red tide early in the future and track and monitor its movement and spread.

During isometric elbow flexion, forearm length should be an important factor to determine not only joint torque but also maximum endurance time (MET), when the forearm is perpendicular to the direction of the force. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of forearm length as an additional factor on empirical models of MET such as an exponential model and a power model during isometric elbow flexion. Thirty volunteers participated in our experiment to measure factor variables such as circumferences and lengths of their upper and lower arms. Their METs were measured according to the percent of maximum voluntary contraction intensity (%MVC). For the multiple linear regression model of ln(MET) using these measurements, significant variables could be observed in %MVC and forearm lengths (P<0.05). The empirical models were assessed by these models using forearm length as the additional factor. Mean absolute deviations (MAD) between the measured METs amd the two empirical models were about 19.4 [s], but MAD using models applied forearm lengths were reduced to about 16.2 [s]. The correlation coefficients and intraclass correlation coefficients were about 0.87, but those applied forearm lengths were increased to about 0.91. These results demonstrated that forearm length was a significant additional factor to the empirical model.

The researchers entirely focused on meta-heuristic method for generalized assignment problem(GAP) that is known as NP-hard problem because of the optimal solution within polynomial time algorithm is unknown yet. On the other hand, this paper proposes a heuristic greedy algorithm with rules for finding solutions. Firstly, this paper reduces the weight matrix of original data to wij ≤ bi/l in order to n jobs(items) pack m machines(bins) with l = n/m. The maximum profit of each job was assigned to the machine for the reduced data. Secondly, the allocation was adjusted so that the sum of the weights assigned to each machine did not exceed the machine capacity. Finally, the k-opt swap optimization was performed to maximize the profit. The proposed algorithm is applied to 50 benchmarking data, and the best known solution for about 1/3 data is to solve the problem. The remaining 2/3 data showed comparable results to metaheuristic techniques. Therefore, the proposed algorithm shows the possibility that rules for finding solutions in polynomial time exist for GAP. Experiments demonstrate that it can be a P-problem from an NP-hard.
Due to COVID-19, paid virtual live-stream concerts have emerged as an alternative format and a new revenue model for in-person live concerts. Despite the increasing scholarly and practical interest in how participants experience paid virtual live-stream concerts, few studies examined participants' consumption and participation experiences. Thus, this study aims to provide insights into consumers' virtual live-stream concert experience by employing social representations theory (SRT). We explore the features of paid virtual live-stream concerts based on the C-P-N-D (Content-Platform-Network-Device) framework and the consumers' cognitive and affective perception. To this end, an SRT-based core-periphery analysis was conducted based on 239 responses to the open-ended survey questions. The results show that network-and device-level features of virtual live concerts and participants' overall perception are presented as core elements of paid virtual live-stream concerts, whereas content- and platform-level features are peripheral elements. This finding provides an in-depth understanding of the emergence of paid virtual live-stream concerts as an alternative concert format, thereby providing an invaluable understanding of a virtual live concert experience and theoretical and practical insights.
As the society is being industrialized, the fast-paced economic development that has caused substantial increase in cerebrovascular and coronary artery diseases and the industrial development and increased use of means of transportation have resulted in the rapid rise of incidents in external injuries as well. So the pubic has become acutely aware of the need for fast and effective emergency care delivery system. The goal of emergency care delivery system is to meet the emergency care needs of patients. The emergency care delivery system is seeking to efficiently satisfy the care needs of people. Therefore the purpose of this study is designed to develop an effective programs for emergency care delivery system in Korea. The following specific objectives were investigated. This emergency care delivery system must have the necessary man power, for transfering the patients, communication net work, and emergency care facilities. 1) Man power Emergency care requires n0t only specialized traning in the emergency treatment but also knowledge and experience i11 other related area, so emergency care personnel traning program should be designed in order to adapt to the specific need of emergency patients. It will be necessary to ensure professional personnel who aquires the sufficient traning and experience for emergency care and to look for legal basis. We have to develop re-educational programs for emergency nurse specialist. They should be received speciality of emergency nursing care so that they will work actively and positively in emergency part. Emergency medical doctor and nurse specialist should be given an education which is related in emergency and critical care. Emergency care personnel will continue to provide both acute and continuing care as partner with other medical team. 2) Transfering the patients. Successful management of pre-hospital care requires adequate traning for the emergency medical technician. Traning program should be required to participate in a actual first aids activites in order to have apportunities to acquire practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge. The system of emergency medical technician should be remarkablly successful with first responder firefighters. Establishing this system must add necessary ambulances operating at any given time. It will be necessary to standardize the ambulance size and equipment. Ambulance should be arranged with each and every fire station. 3) Communication net work. The head office of emergency commumication network should be arranged with the head office of fire station in community. It is proposed that Hot-line system for emergency care should be introduce. High controlled ambulance and thirtial emergency center should simultaneously equip critical-line in order to communication with each other. Ordinary ambulance and secondary emergency facility should also simultaneously equip emergency-line in order to communication with each other. 4) Emergency care facilities. Primary emergency care facilities should be covered with the ambulatory emergency patients-minor illness and injuires. Secondary emergency care facilities should be covered with the emergency admission patients. Third emergency care center should be covered with the critical patients who need special treatments and operation. Secondary and third emergency care facilities should employ emergency medical doctor and emergency nurse specialist to treat in-patients with severe and acute illness and multiple injuires. It should be fashioned for a system of emergency facilities that meets emergency patients needs. Provide incentives for increased number of emergency care facilities with traning in personal/clinical emergency care. 5) Finance It is recommended to put the finance of a emergency care on a firm basis. The emergency care delivery system should be managed by the government or accreditted organizations. In order to facilitate this relevant program the fund is needed for more efficient and effective emergency researchs, service, programs, and policy. 6) Gaining understanding and co-operation of pubic It is also important to undertake pubic education to improve understanding of first aids and C. P. R of individuals, communities and business. It is proposed that teachers and health officers be certified in C. P. R. The C. P. R education can be powerful influence save lives. Lastly appropriate emergency care information must be provided to the pubic for assisting them in choosing emergency care.
Introduction: Diffusion is process by which an innovation is communicated through certain channel overtime among the members of a social system(Rogers 1983). Bass(1969) suggested the Bass model describing diffusion process. The Bass model assumes potential adopters of innovation are influenced by mass-media and word-of-mouth from communication with previous adopters. Various expansions of the Bass model have been conducted. Some of them proposed a third factor affecting diffusion. Others proposed multinational diffusion model and it stressed interactive effect on diffusion among several countries. We add a spatial factor in the Bass model as a third communication factor. Because of situation where we can not control the interaction between markets, we need to consider that diffusion within certain market can be influenced by diffusion in contiguous market. The process that certain type of retail extends is a result that particular market can be described by the retail life cycle. Diffusion of retail has pattern following three phases of spatial diffusion: adoption of innovation happens in near the diffusion center first, spreads to the vicinity of the diffusing center and then adoption of innovation is completed in peripheral areas in saturation stage. So we expect spatial effect to be important to describe diffusion of domestic discount store. We define a spatial diffusion model using multinational diffusion model and apply it to the diffusion of discount store. Modeling: In this paper, we define a spatial diffusion model and apply it to the diffusion of discount store. To define a spatial diffusion model, we expand learning model(Kumar and Krishnan 2002) and separate diffusion process in diffusion center(market A) from diffusion process in the vicinity of the diffusing center(market B). The proposed spatial diffusion model is shown in equation (1a) and (1b). Equation (1a) is the diffusion process in diffusion center and equation (1b) is one in the vicinity of the diffusing center. $$\array{{S_{i,t}=(p_i+q_i{\frac{Y_{i,t-1}}{m_i}})(m_i-Y_{i,t-1})\;i{\in}\{1,{\cdots},I\}\;(1a)}\\{S_{j,t}=(p_j+q_j{\frac{Y_{j,t-1}}{m_i}}+{\sum\limits_{i=1}^I}{\gamma}_{ij}{\frac{Y_{i,t-1}}{m_i}})(m_j-Y_{j,t-1})\;i{\in}\{1,{\cdots},I\},\;j{\in}\{I+1,{\cdots},I+J\}\;(1b)}}$$ We rise two research questions. (1) The proposed spatial diffusion model is more effective than the Bass model to describe the diffusion of discount stores. (2) The more similar retail environment of diffusing center with that of the vicinity of the contiguous market is, the larger spatial effect of diffusing center on diffusion of the vicinity of the contiguous market is. To examine above two questions, we adopt the Bass model to estimate diffusion of discount store first. Next spatial diffusion model where spatial factor is added to the Bass model is used to estimate it. Finally by comparing Bass model with spatial diffusion model, we try to find out which model describes diffusion of discount store better. In addition, we investigate the relationship between similarity of retail environment(conceptual distance) and spatial factor impact with correlation analysis. Result and Implication: We suggest spatial diffusion model to describe diffusion of discount stores. To examine the proposed spatial diffusion model, 347 domestic discount stores are used and we divide nation into 5 districts, Seoul-Gyeongin(SG), Busan-Gyeongnam(BG), Daegu-Gyeongbuk(DG), Gwan- gju-Jeonla(GJ), Daejeon-Chungcheong(DC), and the result is shown
. In a result of the Bass model(I), the estimates of innovation coefficient(p) and imitation coefficient(q) are 0.017 and 0.323 respectively. While the estimate of market potential is 384. A result of the Bass model(II) for each district shows the estimates of innovation coefficient(p) in SG is 0.019 and the lowest among 5 areas. This is because SG is the diffusion center. The estimates of imitation coefficient(q) in BG is 0.353 and the highest. The imitation coefficient in the vicinity of the diffusing center such as BG is higher than that in the diffusing center because much information flows through various paths more as diffusion is progressing. A result of the Bass model(II) shows the estimates of innovation coefficient(p) in SG is 0.019 and the lowest among 5 areas. In a result of spatial diffusion model(IV), we can notice the changes between coefficients of the bass model and those of the spatial diffusion model. Except for GJ, the estimates of innovation and imitation coefficients in Model IV are lower than those in Model II. The changes of innovation and imitation coefficients are reflected to spatial coefficient(${\gamma}$). From spatial coefficient(${\gamma}$) we can infer that when the diffusion in the vicinity of the diffusing center occurs, the diffusion is influenced by one in the diffusing center. The difference between the Bass model(II) and the spatial diffusion model(IV) is statistically significant with the ${\chi}^2$-distributed likelihood ratio statistic is 16.598(p=0.0023). Which implies that the spatial diffusion model is more effective than the Bass model to describe diffusion of discount stores. So the research question (1) is supported. In addition, we found that there are statistically significant relationship between similarity of retail environment and spatial effect by using correlation analysis. So the research question (2) is also supported.
