식쌍성 DO Cas의 광도곡선과 시선속도곡선의 분석 (AN ANALYSIS OF THE LIGHT AND RADIAL VELOCITY CURVES OF DO CAS)

  • DO Cas는 최근 Shaw (1990)에 의해 근접촉쌍성으로 분류된 공전주기 0.68일의 식쌍성이다. 짧은 공전주기를 가짐에도 불구하고 Mannino (1958) 이후 분광관측에 의한 시선속도 곡선이 발표되지 않고 있다. 그런데 Hill (1991)은 Mannino의 시선속도곡선이 오류를 포함하고 있는 것으 로 보인다고 하였다. 이 연구에서 우리는 Asiago 천문대에 의뢰하여 Mannino가 분석한 분광관측 사진건판을 입수하여 PDS로 측정하여 IRAP로 재분석하였다. 이 시선속도곡선과 1998년에 관측한 BVR 광도곡선을 Wilson-Devinney 방법으로 동시에 분석하였다. 그 결과 DO Cas가 접촉 또는 주성이 로쉬엽을 채우고 있는 접촉에 매우 가까운 준분리형 쌍성임을 확인하였으며 또한 이 계의 절대량을 구하였다.

  • In this dissertation, a new process capability index $C_{psk}$ is introduced for non-normal process. The Pearson curve and the Johnson curve are selected for capability index calculation and data modeling the normal-based index $C_{psk}$ is used as the model for non-normal process. A significant result of this research find that the ranking of the seven indices, $C_p,\;C_{pk},\;C_{pm},\;C^{\ast}_{pm},\;C_{pmk},\;C_s,\;C_{psk}$ in terms of sensitivity to departure of the process median from the target value T=M from the most sensitive one up to the least sensitive are $C_{psk},\;C_{s},\;C_{pmk},\;C^{\ast}_{pm},\;C_{pm},\;C_{pk},\;C_p$. i.e, By the criteria adopted for evaluation of PCI's $C_{psk}$ is the most sensitive to the departure of the process median from target and $C_p$ is least

  • This study is test for STS304 specimen using bending and torsion state. Rounded specimen and notched specimen including fracture surface investigation was comparatively experimented, fatigue life according to degree of surface finishing was examined. Fatigue fracture probability of notched canilever specimens were predicted by P-S-N curve, median rank and Weibull distribution. And at the relation with the rotational speed and stress, the fatigue life of the test specimen was higher at high speed than low speed If summarize STS304 torsion result of fatigue test, is as following. Fatigue life prediction was available by Weibull statistics distribution, and 50% breakdown probability correlation equation was appeared as following.

The destruction cause of macaine components is almost accused by fatigue. This study is test for STS304 specimen using pure and cantilever bending state. $Y_{1-X}G_X$, $Y_{1-X}P_X$ 칼라필터를 통한 시감도 최적화 연구 (Research on Optimizing Luminosity Factor Through Color Filter $Y_{1-X}G_X$, $Y_{1-X}P_X$)

  • 목적: 시감도가 최적화된 투과필터의 칼라위치를 추정한다. 방법: 시감도 최적화를 위한 칼라를 Y(Yellow), G(green)과 P(Red)를 이용하여 CR-39에 담그기 법으로 $Y_{1-x}G_{x}$, $Y_{1-x}P_{x}$를 제작하였다. 투과광에서 최종 비시감도의 추정방법 모델은 파장에 따른 눈의 시감도와 렌즈의 투과율 세기의 곱($P_f$ ($P_f({\lambda}=T({\lambda}){\cdot}P({\lambda}).)$.)으로 나타낸다. 400~700 nm 영역에서 투과광의 평가는 비시감도 곡선의 면적, Peak, 폭, 최고높이 값으로 평가한다. 결과: $Y_{1-x}G_{x}$에서 x=0.04, x=0.08, x=0.10, x=0.12, x=0.14, x=0.5에서 ${\beta}=S_1/S_0{\cdot}100$ 값은 각각 76.1, 77.9, 80.7, 81.6, 80.2, 18.6을 갖는다. $Y_{1-x}P_{x}$에서 x=1.00, x=0.2, x=0.6, x=0.8에서 ${\beta}=S_1/S_0{\cdot}100$ 값은 각각 74.3, 74.0, 70.5, 33.0을 갖는다. 투과광의 면적과 최고높이를 평가한 결과는 $Y_{1-x}P_{x}$보다 $Y_{1-x}G_{x}$가 더 큰 값을 갖게 되어 비시감도 최적화에 접근하였다. 결론: 비시감도 최적화는 $Y_{1-x}G_{x}$에서 X=0.12~0.14의 값을 갖는다.

풍화잔류토의 생성모델의 제안 (A Proposal of a Model for the Generation of Weathered Residual Soils)

  • 본 연구에서는 풍화잔류토의 생성을 특성화시키는 새로운 분열모델을 제안하였으며, GRS모델이라고 명명하였다. GRS 모델은 풍화가 많이 진행될수록 흙 입자의 크기가 작아지고 흙 속의 간극이 많아진다는 사실에 착안하였으며, 프랙탈 이론으로부터 도출된 $P_F$(분열가능성)로써 풍화잔류토의 생성과정을 표현할 수 있다. 암석이 분열됨으로써 흙 입자들이 생성되며 암석의 분열은 단계별로 진행되지만 각 단계별 분열가능성은 일정하지 않다는 것이 GRS모델의 기본개념이다. GRS모델의 적용성을 검증한 결과, 입자들의 잔류량이 많은 입경에서 $P_{Fi}$(분열단계별 분열가능성)가 작게 산출되었고, 입도분포가 양호할수록 크게 산출되었다. 일반적인 흙에서 나타나는 S자형상의 입도분포곡선은 $P_{Fi}$가 높은 오목형상에서 나타났으며, $P_{Fi}$의 변화형상이 볼록하면서 높은 값을 가질경우에는 빈입도의 입도분포특성을 나타내었다. 전반적으로 $P_{Fi}$가 작은 경우에는 $P_{Fi}$의 변화형상에 관계없이 큰 입자의 잔류량이 많은 오목한 형상의 입도분포곡선을 나타내었다. $P_{Fi}$의 평균값은 균등계수$(C_u)$와 분열프랙탈차원$(D_r)$에 비례하여 증가하였으나, 곡률계수$(C_C)$와는 무관하였다.

  • The fatigue characteristic of a material or a structure is derived from fatigue tests of standard specimens. However test results of standard specimens are very different from those of real structures or components. Therefore, to calculate more accurate fatigue life, the geometrical effect and surface condition must be considered by comparing test results of standard specimens with those of real structures or components. Thus the object of this paper is to evaluate the fatigue characteristic of a real waterwork pipe by conducting fatigue tests with standard specimens and non-standard(plate-shaped) specimens of base metal and weld metal. Also, to evaluate fatigue characteristic based on life distribution, statistical fatigue characteristic was analyzed by the normal distribution and related data of P-S-N curve.

  • Traditional CVP (Cost-Volume-Profit) analysis employs linear cost and revenue functions within some specified time period and range of operations. Therefore CVP analysis is assumption of constant labor productivity. The use of linear cost functions implicity assumes, among other things, that firm's labor force is either a homogenous group or a collection homogenous subgroups in a constant mix, and that total production changes in a linear fashion through appropriate increase or decrease of seemingly interchangeable labor unit. But productivity rates in many firms are known to change with additional manufacturing experience in employee skill. Learning curve is intended to subsume the effects of all these resources of productivity. This learning phenomenon is quantifiable in the form of a learning curve, or manufacturing progress function. The purpose d this study is to show how alternative assumptions regarding a firm's labor force may be utilize by integrating conventional CVP analysis with learning curve theory, Explicit consideration of the effect of learning should substantially enrich CVP analysis and improve its use as a tool for planning and control of industry.

Assessment of Pollution Levels in the Jangsungcheon Watershed Using Load Duration Curves and Analysis of the Causes

  • In this study, a load duration curve was applied to the Jangseongcheon, one of the tributaries of the Yeongsan River, to assess whether the target water quality was achieved. In addition, pollution of the water body was investigated to develop and suggest the optimal management time with respect to polluted flow sections and monthly conditions. The average flow rates of sections JS1 and JS2 were $0.25m^3/s$ and $1.08m^3/s$, respectively. The BOD and T-P for water-quality standards at JS1 were rated at II, whereas the COD and TOC were rated at III, thus indicating a fair level of water quality. By contrast, the BOD at JS2 was rated at III, the T-P at IV, and the TOC at V, indicating poor water quality in this section. The load duration curve was plotted using the actual flow data measured in eight-day intervals for eight years from 2011 to 2018 at locations JS1 and JS2 in the Jangsungcheon Basin. In an assessment using the load duration curve on whether the target water quality was met at location JS1, all of the water quality parameters (BOD, COD, TOC, T-N, T-P, and SS) satisfied the target water quality. By contrast, at location JS2, parameters COD, TOC, T-N, and T-P exceeded target values by more than 50%, indicating the target water quality was not met. The discharge loads of locations JS1 and JS2 were analyzed to identify the reasons the target water quality was exceeded. Results revealed that the land system contributed considerably. Furthermore, the discharge load of JS2 accounted for more than 80% of the load on the entire basin, excluding that of JS1. Therefore, the best method for restraining the inflow of pollutants into the stream near location JS2 must be applied to manage the water quality of the Jangsungcheon.
