  • In this paper, we proposed static output feedback model predictive control for Wiener models. We adopted polytopic uncertainty description of Wiener Model Predictive Control (WMPC) algorithms for considering output nonlinearities. Robust stability conditions have been presented under which the closed loop stability of static output feedback MPC is guaranteed. The proposed control law is determined from the static output feedback WMPC based on the current estimated state with explicit satisfaction of input constraints.

  • In this paper, we present static output feedback model predictive tracking control for linear system with uncertainty. The proposed control law is based on integral action form to provide zero oset for constant command signals and the closed loop stability is guaranteed under linear matrix inequality conditions on the terminal weighting matrix using the decreasing monotonicity property of the performance index. Through simulation examples, we illustrate that the proposed schemes can be appropriate tracking controllers for uncertain system.

  • The disturbance attenuation problem for a class of discretetime switched linear systems with exponential uncertainties via switched state feedback and switched dynamic output feedback is investigated, respectively. By using Taylor series approximation and convex polytope technique, exponentially uncertain discrete-time switched linear system is transformed into an equivalent switched polytopic model with additive norm bounded uncertainty. For such equivalent switched model, one designs its switching strategy and associated state feedback controllers and dynamic output feedback controllers so that whole switched model is asymptotical stabilization with H-in nity disturbance attenuation base on switched Lyapunov function and LMI approach. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to illustrate our results.

  • In deterministic design of feedback controllers for uncertain dynamical systems, the bound on the uncertainty is an important clue to guarantee the asymptotic stability or uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system. In this paper, using only the measurable output we propose an adaptation law for the estimation of the bound of the uncertainty. And based on this adaptation law an adaptive control which renders the uncertain dynamical systems uniformly ultimately bounded is constructed.

  • This work is concerned with the estimation of output derivatives and their use for the design of robust controller for linear systems with systems uncertainties due to modeling errors and disturbance. It is assumed that a nominal transfer function model and Quantitative bounds for system uncertainties are known. The developed control schemes are shown to achieve regulation of the system output and ensures boundedness of the system states without imposing any structural conditions on system uncertainties and disturbances. Output derivative estimation is first conducted trough restructuring of the plant in a specific parameterization. They are utilized for constructing robust nonlinear high-gain feedback controller of a SMC(Sliding Mode Controller) Type. The performances of the developed controller are evaluated and shown to be effective and useful through simulation study.

  • This paper empirically investigated whether the strategic performance of dependence and commitment on output sector uncertainty based on the data from manufacturing firms in Korea. U.S. Also, the proposed model was proven by the structural equation model with the data gathered from 105 manufacturing firms in Korea, 103 in U.S. The success of the members of channel having limited resources and capabilities depends on how they cope with environment. Especially, it is insispensable for manufacturing firms and distributing firms to build up win win systems when environmental uncertainty is high in the output sector. The findings were as follows. Hypothesis 1 was accepted in all the nations. Hypothesis 2 was accepted in the United States yet not in Korea. Hypothesis 3, 4 was accepted in Korea yet not in the United States. Hypothesis 5 was accepted in every nation as well. In the future, the dependence, commitment and strategic performance of manufacturing and distribution firms should be investigated from a mutual perspective, and additional data should be obtained by selecting more subjects. As for environmental uncertainty, the uncertainty of distribution environments as well as output sector uncertainty should equally be investigated by making a comparative analysis.

  • This paper presents a procedure of implementing a robust controller for a paper-making plant in DCSs. A paper-making process generally has triple problems to automatically tune its output qualities : Long transport delays which are not able to be simply linearized. The transfer matrix of the process is not square. And every plant model has some uncertainty in low and middle frequency region. To tackle these problems, a multi-input / multi-output (MIMO) plant model having some uncertainty was derived by considering some physical and mechanical principles of the process. Then a MIMO robust \ulcornercontroller is designed and implemented in a real DCS as function block type. Som...

  • This paper describes the methods for calibration and evaluation of the relative expanded uncertainty of a multi-axis force/moment sensor. In order to use the sensor in the industry, it should be calibrated and its relative expanded uncertainty should be also evaluated. At present, the confidence of the sensor is shown with only interference error. However, it is not accurate, because the calibrated multi-axis force/moment sensor has an interference error as well as a reproducibility error of the sensor, etc. In this paper, the methods fur calibration and for evaluation of the relative expanded uncertainty of a multi-axis force/moment sensor are newly proposed. Also, a six-axis force/moment sensor is calibrated with the proposed calibration method and the relative expanded uncertainty is evaluated using the proposed uncertainty evaluation method and the calibration results. It is thought that the methods fur calibration and evaluation of the uncertainty can be usually used for calibration and evaluation of the uncertainty of the multi-axis force/moment sensor.

  • We consider a single-input-single-output nonlinear system which is represented in a normal form. The model contains the uncertainty. A high-gain observer is used to estimate the states variables to reject a modeling uncertainty We design the globally bounded output feedback controller using sliding mode control to stabilize the closed-loop system. The globally bounded output feedback controller reduce the peaking in the states variables. The proposed method give a more design freedom in the design of the globally bounded controller than that of the previous work.

  • In this paper, we consider the robust non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ output feedback controller design method for uncertain descriptor systems with feedback and observer gain variations. The existence condition of observer-based robust and non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ output feedback controller and the controller design method are Presented on the basis of linear matrix inequality approach. The proposed robust non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ output feedback controller guarantees asymptotic stability, non-fragility, $H_{\infty}$ norm bound within a prescribed level in spite of disturbance, parameter uncertainty, and feedback/observer gain variations.
