  • In this paper, we propose a new computationally efficient joint iterative multi-input multi-output (MIMO) detection scheme using a soft interference cancellation and minimum mean squared-error (SIC-MMSE) method. The critical computational burden of the SIC-MMSE scheme lies in the multiple inverse operations of the complex matrices. We find a new way which requires only a single matrix inversion by utilizing the Taylor series expansion of the matrix, and thus the computational complexity can be reduced. The computational complexity reduction increases as the number of antennas is increased. The simulation results show that our method produces almost the same performances as the conventional SIC-MMSE with reduced computational complexity.

  • In the unification method of classical linear control and variable structure control, a problem that the error between the actual plant output and the nominal plant output exists consistently is solved by replacing the nominal plant with an adaptive observer. Since the exponentially convergent adaptive observer is used, the adaptive observer output converges to the actual plant output rapidly. So, the error does not exist after all and as a result the performance degradation of the control system is prevented.

  • On the optical system and the system itself of the noise of the noise from the outside always present. This noise is to function as reducing performance of the optical system. Therefore, the probability of error, thereby changing the system. In this paper, the error probability of the optical system due to changes in various values by introducing the characteristic variable the value of the optical system was calculated using the ${\kappa}$-square method. Was confirmed also in accordance with the calculation result is an error probability of the optical system changes, it was confirmed that when the value of the holding case for holding the standard about 400 Lux on the probability of the optical system. This case was found to be an optical system using a light source with a low output, so that means the smaller output is no problem to maintain the error probability value of the optical system is large. This means that more effective and less expensive to implement because it means that the optical system does not require the use of pre-amplifier for amplifying the signal at the receiving end of an optical system using a light source with a low output when the normal case.

  • Output factors for 6MeV electron were directly measured under the condition of an individual beam cutout and these factors were compared with the output factors by 1D method which is an easy means to predict the output factors of electron beam. Output factors by 1D method are defined as output factors of rectangular fields where one side is always equal to the side of the square reference field and the output of an arbitrary rectangular field X, Y is given by the product of the 1D output factors. The output of very large square fields is overestimated using 1D method for the 6MeV electron, but it results in agreement with measured data under the condition of an individual cutout within 1% error adopting a correction factor $CF=C\times$[(X-10)(Y-10)/$\mid$(X-10)(Y-10)$\mid^{1/2}]$.

  • There are trapping and stripping methods as the technique to remove the dither motion from RLG(Ring Laser Gyro) output. V/F converter output of angular sensor to measure the dither motion is used in stripping method. But bias and scale factor error is always included in V/F converter output and is a critical limiting factor for the wide application of stripping method to RLG. Therefore there have been many researches to solve this problem. The method to accurately estimate the bias and scale factor error of V/F converter using measurements of the angular sensor acquired at data sampling rate of INS is presented in this paper. To this end, stripping technique based on model of dither motion is newly applied.

  • As one of multi-class classification methods, ECOC (Error Correcting Output Coding) method is known to have low classification error rate. This paper aims at suggesting effective multi-class classification method (1) by comparing various encoding methods and decoding methods in ECOC method and (2) by comparing ECOC method and direct classification method. Both SVM (Support Vector Machine) and logistic regression model were used as binary classifiers in comparison.

  • A big data processing method to predict solar power generation using systems engineering approach is developed in this work. For developing analytical method, linear model (LM), support vector machine (SVN), and artificial neural network (ANN) technique are chosen. As evaluation indices, the cross-correlation and the mean square root of prediction error (RMSEP) are used. From multi-variable comparison test, it was found that ANN methodology provides the highest correlation and the lowest RMSEP.

  • In this paper, the Generalized Predictive Control(GPC) method based on Fuzzy Neural Networks(FNNs) is presented for the control of chaotic nonlinear systems without precise mathematical models. In our method, FNNs is used as the predictor whose parameters are tuned by the error between the actual output of nonlinear chaotic system and that of FNNs model. The parameters of GPC controller are adjusted via the gradient descent method where the difference between the actual output and the reference signal is used as a control error. Finally, computer simulation on the representative continuous-time chaotic system(Duffing system) is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our chaos control method.

  • The output characteristics of VSI by transistor depend upon bias signal with drive circuit. As the CTI is one of the VSI, takes case PWM output voltage. This Inverter operation is based upon position and negative of sinusoldal PWM signal by carrier triangular wave and compared sine one. Besides, the Inverter operation system required digital signal for microprocessor, sampling method of Inverter driver signals study for get rid of generated signal is error. In the paper, the method of 3 level PWM signal for CTI was studied. This method of signals depend upon caculated switching position of natural sampling with $10^{-6}$ modulation error for time flowchart programs.

  • In this paper we propose an FDI(fault detection and isolation) algorithm to detect and isolate single faults in linear systems. When a change in the system occurs the errors between the system output and the estimated output cross a threshold, and once a fault in the system is detected, the FCFM statistically isolates the fault by using the error between each neural network based fault model output and the system output.
