Improved Single Feistel Circuit Supporter by A Chaotic Genetic Operator

  • This document outlines a new color image encryption technology development. After splitting the original image into 240-bit blocks and modifying the first block by an initialization vector, an improved Feistel circuit is applied, sponsored by a genetic crossover operator and then strong chaining between the encrypted block and the next clear block is attached to set up the confusion-diffusion and heighten the avalanche effect, which protects the system from any known attack. Simulations carried out on a large database of color images of different sizes and formats prove the robustness of such a system.

  • This paper describes a method and a system for automatic generation of flanged cylinderical deep drawing process outlines. A process outline is a sequence of operation leading from the blank to the required finished part. The input is the dimension of final product and the output is the effective process outline to manufacture the product. That system is programmed by PROLOG language and is composed of facts and rules of manufacturing knowledge hierarchically.

  • This paper highlights new IP network design and internetworking scenarios overlayed on the existing ATM technology network. It describes the proper network configurations to solve the IP/ATM internetworking probrems on the AISN(Advanced Information Superhighway Network). The paper outlines that IP network can be constructed on ATM backbone network. The paper looks at how new design technology is to enhance the AISN in Korea. The paper concludes that new IP network design is applied to AISN and there is enough possibility that AISN can be developed to efficient NGI(Next Generation Internet).

  • This paper outlines extraction potential of tidal stream resources from the simplified channel in which flow is driven by a head difference between inlet and outlet. Energy extraction alters the flow within a simple channel, and extraction of 10% energy flux in a natural channel would give rise to a flow speed reduction of about 5.7%.

  • This study outlines the analysis of toggle system and the vibration control performance when the toggle-rotational inertia damper system was applied to a structure. Numerical analysis shows that the relative displacement of the structure can be amplified by amplification mechanism of the toggle system and the capacity of the damper can be reduced without the loss of vibration control performance. It is also observed that vibration control effects is caused by the increase of equivalent mass due to the rotational inertia of damper.

We review tile prospective solution of rail fare system reflecting the customer need on the decision making and consider fare design structure.   • In order to improve the sound quality and reduce the noise of engines and vehicles efficiently, it is important to quantify the subjective noise characteristics objectively. The exhaust noises of the passenger vehicles have been measured for the subjective assessments. This paper outlines the objective data by which engine noise can be assessed and the salient features of subjective assessments before proposing an approach by which targets for internal vehicle noise may be set. The method to objectify the subjective assessments has been proposed considering three components - Loudness, Harmonic content, Impulsiveness - which have influence on the subjective assessments.

  • Track While Scan(DS) system which can track the multitargets in dense target environment is designed. There are three tasks to be performed: I) Target Detection and 'plot' formation, ii) Plot to track association and, iii) Track updatement. The conventional approach has been to tackle each of these tasks separately. This paper outlines a method for jointly optimizing all the three tasks and presents implementation aspects.
