An order level inventory model is developed for deteriorating items. The demand during prescribed scheduling period is constant and deterministic in which the demand follows power pattern. Deterioration is assumed to be a constant fraction of the on hand inventory. The expression for the optimal order level is developed and an example is given to illustrate the model.

This paper deals with the problem of determining the retailer's optimal price and order size under the condition of order-size-dependent delay in payments. It is assumed that the length of delay is a function of the retailer's total amount of purchase. The constant price elasticity demand function is adopted which is a decreasing function of retail price. Investigation of the properties of an optimal solution allows us to develop an algorithm whose validity is illustrated through an example problem.

A joint economic ordering problem between supplier and customer has been formulated where a supplier has to pay the freight cost which follows the principle of economy of scale. An algorithm is given to determine order size and price simultaneously which give gains to both parties. A scenario is presented within which both parties come to a mutual agreement on the revised order size and price by utilizing quantity discount schedule.

Steel making using EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) consists of three major processes: molten steel making, slab casting and hot rolling. Orders from customers, which includes their requirements such as composition, order quantity with allowable range, width, thichness, and unit weight of coils etc, are grouped as charges for EAF to enhance the productivity of the furnace. This paper develops an efficient grouping algorithm for charges in the EAF by exploiting the order characteristics: the allowable ranges of furnace capacity, order quantity, and unit weight of coils. Numerical test shows that the proposed heuristic works very efficiently and the results are quite satisfactory.

This paper focuses on Order Feasibility Decision System Based on SNS System. We suggest BOP (Bill of Process) in which aggregated information is used When the load p1anning problem is solved while more detailed information is used when the scheduling problem is solved.

In this paper, the queueing system in series is studied. The system is a tandem queueing system which has three stations. In system, one service station has a general distributions and two service stations have exponential distribution. Each station has a single server. The customer arrives with Poisson process and is serviced sequentially. It is assumed that the order of stations does not affect the quality of services. Using the light traffic approximations, the optimal order of the system which has the three stations is decided.

This study presents an application of stochastic model for limit order book (LOB) dynamics to Korean Stock Index Futures (KOSPI 200 Futures). Since KOSPI 200 futures market is widely known as one of the most liquid markets in the world, direct application of an existing model is hardly possible. Therefore, we modified an existing model to successfully model and predict the dynamics of extremely liquid KOSPI 200 futures market.

The probabilistic order level inventory model is developed when a supplier allows some credit period T for settling the accounts for purchase quantity. The credit period T is known constant. Mathematical models are derived for both the cases i) T'.leq. T and ii) T'>T. Expressions are derived for average expected total cost of the system, the optimum cycle time and for obtaining optimum order level S = S$_{0}$ in each case. The exmaples are given to illustrate the model.

This research was conducted in order to suggestion management program of Happy house center which facility of detached housings, multi family housing, and semi-detached housing management. This study's purpose is to systematically help create a district customized co-management housing management system among detached housing area by reflecting resident opinion and simultaneously provide basic research. The area of research is Sanjoen district in Ulsan city that compact old detached houses. The research study's results are follows: First, the overall survey results showed that most respondents demanded program of happy house center for housing energy deduction method and support of house insulation cost and heating fuel cost. Second, happy house center try to order of priority or housing maintenance and seek of cost deduction plan. Third, happy house center propose the Maeulmandeulgi(Machizkuri) program or housing management plan for residents' talent contribution.

In order to improve participation and quick decision-making in an emergency, the Voluntary Participation Program was recommended in this study for effective management of Civil Defense. The problems in the Law and Administration group and Forced Education by Mobilization system were analyzed through actual conditions of Civil Defense management and participation. In order to improve these problems, cases such as "Extension of Participation Methods", "Cooperation Activities with Civil Groups", "Usage of Community Information" were studied. Based on the investigation results, domestic applicability was recommended.
