Effect of Continuity Rate on Multistage Logistic Network Optimization under Disruption Risk

  • Modern companies have been facing devastating impacts from unexpected events such as demand uncertainties, natural disasters, and terrorist attacks due to the increasing global supply chain complexity. This paper proposes a multi stage logistic network model under disruption risk. To formulate the problem practically, we consider the effect of continuity rate, which is defined as a percentage of ability of the facility to provide backup allocation to customers in the abnormal situation and affect the investments and operational costs. Then we vary the fixed charge for opening facilities and the operational cost according to the continuity rate. The operational level of the company decreases below the normal condition when disruption occurs. The backup source after the disrup-tion is recovered not only as soon as possible, but also as much as possible. This is a concept of the business continuity plan to reduce the recovery time objective such a continuity rate will affect the investments and op-erational costs. Through numerical experiments, we have shown the proposed idea is capable of designing a resilient logistic network available for business continuity management/plan.

  • The most important task in acquiring the weapon system is to determine the required performance and to test & evaluate it. The importance of the weapon system by ROC (Required Operational Capability) is not considered, and system development and test evaluation are carried out. In addition, technical incidental performance is tested on the same basis as ROC in the test evaluation and determined according to the result. Development test and evaluation that evaluates technical ability is very important, but development agency is supervised and performed. In this paper, we propose a method to give weights considering the importance of ROC, a technical incidental performance determination and test procedure, and a improvement plan for the development and operational test & evaluation.

Bilevel-programming based failure-censored ramp-stress ALTSP for the log-logistic distribution with warranty cost

  • In this paper accelerated life testing is incorporated in quality control technique of acceptance sampling plan to induce early failures in high reliability products.Stress under accelerated condition can be applied in constant-stress, step-stress and progressive-stress or combination of such loadings. A ramp-stress results when stress is increased linearly (from zero) with time. In this paper optimum failure-censored ramp-stress accelerated life test sampling plan for log-logistic distribution has been formulated with cost considerations. The log-logistic distribution has been found appropriate for insulating materials. The optimal plans consist in finding optimum sample size, sample proportion allocated to each stress, and stress rate factor such that producer's and consumer's interests are safeguarded. Variance optimality criterion is used when expected cost per lot is not taken into consideration, and bilevel programming approach is used in cost optimization problems. The methods developed have been illustrated using some numerical examples, and sensitivity analyses carried out in the context of ramp-stress ALTSP based on variable SSP for proportion nonconforming.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 전문대학 정보보안과의 운영방안을 제안한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 정보보호 전문인력 양성의 필요성을 살펴보고, 둘째, 국내 전문대학 중 정보보안과를 운영하고 있는 7개 전문대학의 현황 및 교파과정을 분석하고, 셋째, 전문대학 정보보안과가 직면하고 있는 문제점을 극복하기 위한 운영방안에 대해 제안한다.

  • The use of the gas turbine for power supply is increasing recently. Accordingly, the operation and maintenance cost of the gas turbine is gradually increasing and the various efforts to cut the cost are needed. For an operation and maintenance cost saving of the gas turbine, reductions of the new purchasing charge and the reproduction repair cost of the hot gas parts are required through more effective operation and life management methods for the hot gas parts. The hot gas parts are the main parts of the gas turbine and they are replaced with the periodic. In this research, efficient operation and life management methods for the hot gas parts were presented with the cases. The methods were analyzed and verified based on real data and the cases for improving a lifetime were utilized in the field.

Design of ramp-stress accelerated life test plans for a parallel system with two independent components using masked data

  • In this paper, we have formulated optimum Accelerated Life Test (ALT) plan for a parallel system with two independent components using masked data with ramp-stress loading scheme and Type-I censoring. Consider a system of two independent and non-identical components connected in parallel. Such a system fails whenever all of its components has failed. The exact component that causes the system to fail is often unknown due to cost and time constraint. For each parallel system at test, we observe its system's failure time and a set of component that includes the component actually causing the system to fail. The stress-life relationship is modelled using inverse power law, and cumulative exposure model is assumed to model the effect of changing stress. The optimal plan consists in finding out the optimum stress rate using D-optimality criterion. The method developed has been explained using a numerical example and sensitivity analysis carried out.

  • Operation a subway company requires high amount of early construction, operation and maintenance costs. Seoul Metro, one of the public subway companies in Seoul, Korea, has undergone operational deficit from its establishment, and the main reason is that the early construction and operation cost exceed the total revenue. Therefore, detailed researches on current operation system and possible alternatives are conducted to settle down finance trouble of the company. In particular, problems on operation and ticketing systems are analyzed, and based on that, necessity and detailed plan of railroad pass for one day are introduced and analyzed.

국가별 재생에너지 계획입지제도 절차별 우선순위 및 평가요소 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of the Priority and Evaluation Factors of the Renewable Energy Plan Site by Country)

  • This study compared and analyzed major policies and operational processes of countries that introduced the Renewable Energy Plan Site, through literature analysis of published governmet data, and previous research results. The procedures of the Renewable Energy Plan Site were classified into planned location designations, selection of power generation business operators, designation of the business' district and development and evaluating the factors derived for each procedure. Four contries were selected to be compared and analyzed, namely: Denmark, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan. This was based on the criteria used to introduce and operate the Renewable Energy Plan Site, activate renewable energy supply and check the applicability of Korea's policies. It was analyzed that the priority of the planned location for the procedure was different for each country depending on the conditions there.

  • 공급사슬관리(Supply Chain Management)는 기업의 규모가 커지고 관리하는 제품의 수가 다양해지면서 그 중요성이 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 제조 기업의 공급사슬관리 최적화를 위해서는 다양한 변수를 고려하여 생산계획과 분배계획을 효율적으로 수립하여야 하며 각 개별의 단계를 통합적 관접에서 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문은 첫째, 고객의 수요가 다기간이며 확정된 수요정보가 생산자 단계의 생산능력 범위 내에서 변동함에 있어서 공급사슬관리의 최적화된 운영방안에 대해서 제시하였다. 둘째, 공급사슬관리에 있어서 생산계획과 분배계획 수립에 있어 재고비용과 수요불충분비용을 고려하여 최적화된 수요대응방안을 도출하도록 하였다. 본 논문은 기존의 그 유용성이 입증된 유전자 알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm)을 응용 적용하였으며 확정된 수요정보의 기간 및 변동성에 대응하기 위해 두 가지 방안으로 나누어 공급사슬관리의 최적화된 운영방안에 대해 제시하는데 그 의의가 있다.

  • 지구온난화의 영향으로 2035년 이후 북극해가 대부분 개방될 것으로 예측된다. 그리고 북극해 개방 시에는 북유럽까지 항해 거리·비용 감소, 북극권 자원 해상운송, 아시아의 허브항으로서 간접이익 창출 등 많은 국가이익이 기대되고 있다. 이에 따라 미지의 영역이던 북극해에서 국가이익을 확보하고, 국민의 자유로운 활동을 보장하기 위해 정부도 구체적인 정책을 수립하여 추진 중이다. 해군도 북극해 관련 국가정책을 군사적으로 뒷받침하려면, 지금부터 역할과 계획을 구체화해야만 한다. 북극해에서 지원 임무를 수행하기 위해 해군력은 고유 작전특성(기동성, 융통성, 지속성, 현시성, 투사성)을 발휘하여야 하며, 이를 준비하는 과정에서 긍정적·부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있는 내·외부 작전환경(OE)을 먼저 분석할 필요가 있었다. 이는 해군 내부의 강점(S)과 약점(W), 외부의 기회(O)와 위협(T)으로 구분되는데, 각 환경요인들을 연계(S-O, S-T, W-O, W-T)하여, 작전특성을 구현할 수 있는 발전방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 해군은 경험해보지 못한 추운 원해에서 임무를 수행하기 위해 다음의 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다. 첫째, 정부 정책과 발맞추어 해군의 단계적인 추진계획(로드맵)을 작성하고, 둘째, 국내·외 교육훈련 프로그램과 해외 연합훈련에 적극적으로 참여함으로써 전문인력을 양성해야 한다. 셋째, 국내의 우수한 특수선박 조선기술과 4차 산업혁명 신기술을 적용하여 극지 작전용 무장·장비·물자를 확보하는 한편, 광활한 북극해 상 전력공백을 해소하기 위해 연합작전 역량과 군사신뢰도를 증진하면서, 북극권 내 기항지를 마련할 필요가 있다. 끝으로, 북극권 진출 후 군사적·비전통적 위협(전염병, 재난, 인명구조 등)에 대응하며, 다양한 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 사전 준비를 해나가야 할 것이다.
