The current healthcare information systems field to meet the growing demand for healthcare for a variety of building systems and operation, and subsequent information on the budget continues to increase, but the current system, although the association link between the various systems made does not, with organizations with information about each of the standardization and real-time network status data do not consist of various materials, such as insufficient to provide real-time issues have been raised. This paper proposes a Integrated information system on Healthcare based on JXTA to solve problems mentioned above. Until now, in a network environment for data storage and management is the most widely used server-intensive structure, while an increase in users and traffic difficulties in data management and communications services to handle the growing number of servers increase faster than information associated with the cost savings, P2P model in terms of efficient data management has emerged as a new solution. Therefore this paper designs a platform for Integrated information system on Healthcare based on JXTA as a method to integrate health information data and services, and then proves that the new information system on healthcare based on JXTA is the suitable model.

To improve the productivity of the earthwork, a fleet management system for construction equipment was suggested in previous studies. But there were some gaps between theory and practice. To overcome this problem, some opinions are gathered form experts and field engineers and four improvements have been proposed and reflected in the system. First, the previous system consists of one hardware module, so it is hard to install it at a control office and construction equipment at the same time. The server module for the office and the mobile module for construction equipment are separately developed. Second, the transportation algorithm that is used in the previous system can generate shortest paths for the earthwork distribution, but embankment areas are not gathered. This situation leads to a decrease in compaction productivity. A modified algorithm for earthwork distribution is suggested. Third, the automated coordinate transformation is performed to show the position of construction equipment on the 3D terrain in real-time. Fourth, construction equipment groups should be formed in the initial stage of earthwork and the number of equipment of each groups should be changed by operation status and site environment. But this functions did not work properly in the previous system. This problem is corrected in the proposed system. The improvements can make the proposed system much more realistic one and can leads to an increase in the productivity of earthwork operations.

In recent years, lots of damages appear frequently due to cyber terrorism and natural disasters such as typhoon 'Chaba', earthquake at Kyeongju. The damages lead to people's anxiety and public institutions connected directly with them also can't be free from the threat situation. In addition, public institutions must prepare business continuity issues with the highest priority in the event of disasters because they are closest with people's safety. However, preceding researches suggest needs of disaster mitigation activities management system or central office oriented top-down BCP establishing system. In this study, We grasp the current status of public institutions's business continuity plan(BCP) against disaster and we propose an efficient bottom-up method for structuring the BCP of public institutions.
This paper analyzes the under-researched field of the characteristics of th Chosun private railway, such as laws, systems, human resources, and subsidies associated with this railway, in an effort to increase our understanding of these characteristics. It was found that the private railway shared strong identity resemblance with a national project, as it served to assist the roles of the main national railway. General patterns of change of the company indicate that the private railway received increased subsidies consequent to the amendment of a related law and that it was strongly influenced by Japan's railway policies. The private railway system during the Chosun period more subsidies than those administered by Japan, and they tended to depend on fund raising for external capital. A tendency of many board members to be from the Chosun bureau was also noted. Profits in the private railway system were relatively low compared to those of the national railway such that the deficits were supplemented by the subsidies redeived. Based on corroborating examples, the private railway system can be said to have been an organization that had strong connections with national projects. It was especially related to regional industries according to an examination of the distribution of lines, which shows that most assisted the main railway or coincided with regions undergoing industrial development. Typically, northern areas were for resource development while southern areas were for agricultural production and/or passenger transportation. The company carried dual traits as it operated as a subsidiary enterprise for peripheral profit while also playing a role in transportation.

Recently, the marine leisure are being emphasized with improving the quality of life style by increased income and spare time. Also, there is a increasement of people's interest in marine leisure activities. But resources and facilities do not grow in proportion to the quantitative growth of the current marine leisure industry. Besides, a leisure ship operator tends to choose a simple or familiar route of the local area rather than a new leisure routes which are not explored due to lack of accessible areas information. This paper proposes a routes recommendation system in order to solve above problems based on marine resource database. The databases have been constructed through investigation and analysis of navigational information such as environmental conditions including weather conditions and sea status, field of marine leisure activities, tourist attractions and natural landscape, and marine leisure prohibited areas. Therefore we have developed and implemented the route recommendation system that provides various information necessary to route operation of leisure boats.
In the case of satellite navigation positioning, the shielding of satellite signals is determined by the environment of the region at which a user is located, and the navigation performance is determined accordingly. The accuracy of user position determination varies depending on the dilution of precision (DOP) which is a measuring index for the geometric characteristics of visible satellites; and if the minimum visible satellites are not secured, position determination is impossible. Currently, the GLObal NAvigation Satellite system (GLONASS) of Russia is used to supplement the navigation performance of the Global Positioning System (GPS) in regions where GPS cannot be used. In addition, the European Satellite Navigation System (Galileo) of the European Union, the Chinese Satellite Navigation System (BeiDou) of China, the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) of Japan, and the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) of India are aimed to achieve the full operational capability (FOC) operation of the navigation system. Thus, the number of satellites available for navigation would rapidly increase, particularly in the Asian region; and when integrated navigation is performed, the improvement of navigation performance is expected to be much larger than that in other regions. To secure a stable and prompt position solution, GPS-GLONASS integrated navigation is generally performed at present. However, as available satellite navigation systems have been diversified, finding the minimum satellite constellation combination to obtain the best navigation performance has recently become an issue. For this purpose, it is necessary to examine and predict the navigation performance that could be obtained by the addition of the third satellite navigation system in addition to GPS-GLONASS. In this study, the current status of the integrated navigation performance for various satellite constellation combinations was analyzed based on 2014, and the navigation performance in 2020 was predicted based on the FOC plan of the satellite navigation system for each country. For this prediction, the orbital elements and nominal almanac data of satellite navigation systems that can be observed in the Korean Peninsula were organized, and the minimum elevation angle expecting signal shielding was established based on Matlab and the performance was predicted in terms of DOP. In the case of integrated navigation, a time offset determination algorithm needs to be considered in order to estimate the clock error between navigation systems, and it was analyzed using two kinds of methods: a satellite navigation message based estimation method and a receiver based method where a user directly performs estimation. This simulation is expected to be used as an index for the establishment of the minimum satellite constellation for obtaining the best navigation performance.

Background: We have previously found that intra-peritoneal lidocaine instillation before pneumoperitoneum attenuates pneumoperitoneum-induced hypertension. Whether this procedure alters patient's hemodynamic status during operation should be determined for clinical application. This study elucidated the possible mechanism of the attenuation of the pneumoperitoneum-induced hypertension by intra-peritoneal lidocaine before pneumoperitoneum. Methods: Thirty-four patients underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) were randomly allocated into two groups. After induction of general anesthesia, 200 mL of 0.2% lidocaine (lidocaine group, n=17), or normal saline (control group, n=17) were sub-diaphragmatically instilled 10 minutes before pneumoperitoneum. The changes in systolic blood pressure, heart rate, central venous pressure, stroke volume, cardiac output, and systemic vascular resistance were compared between the groups. The number of analgesics used during post-operative 24 h was compared. Results: Systolic blood pressure was elevated during pneumoperitoneum in both groups (p<0.01), but the degree of elevation was significantly reduced in the lidocaine group than in the control (p<0.01). However, stroke volume and cardiac output were decreased and systemic vascular resistance was increased after induction of pneumoperitoneum (p<0.05) without statistical difference between two groups. The number of analgesics used was significantly reduced in the lidocaine group (p<0.01). Conclusion: These data suggest that intra-peritoneal lidocaine before pneumoperitoneum does not alter patient's hemodynamics, and attenuation of pneumoperitoneum-induced hypertension may be the consequence of reduced intra-abdominal pain rather than the decrease of cardiac output during pneumoperitoneum. Therefore, intra-peritoneal lidocaine instillation before pneumoperitoneum is a useful method to manage an intraoperative pneumoperitoneum-induced hypertension and to control postoperative pain without severe detrimental hemodynamic effects.

This research was performed to evaluate incineration facilities with different scale and type using performance index. Incineration facilities of 28 units, which occupying about 15% of 184 units in nationwide, were selected for questionnaire survey. The facilities were classified in scale with large(${\geq}100t/d$), middle(50~<100 t/d), small(<50 t/d) ones, and in type with stoker, pyrolysis, fluidized bed. Performance index was composed of technological, economical, and environmental items, which have 6, 10, and 30 kinds of questions, respectively. As a result of scale evaluation, large scale facility has higher score than small one in all technological, economical, and environmental items. In overall evaluation of the facilities with different type, stoker incinerator has higher score of 65.3 than 59.0 of fludized bed and 58.3 of pyrolysis. It was shown that there was significant difference in economical evaluation field, in all technological, economical, and environmental items.

The purpose of this study was to suggest the improvement of the Mountainous Landscape Impact Review(MLIR) system for the conservation and eco-friendly use of mountain scenery. In order to understand the status of the MLIR system, a comparative analysis was conducted of the MLIR official guidelines and the 100 MLIR reports submitted to the Korea Forest Service from 2011 to 2013. In addition, an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) was conducted to take into account stakeholder opinions and to determine the first priorities to be improved upon in operation and functions of the MLIR system. The results of the IPA in evaluating the MLIR system showed that the components in the MLIR system that should be primarily improved are mountainous landscape resource inventory, objective and quantitative selection of viewpoints, and a checklist for examining the damage expected in mountainous lands. To Revitalize the Mountainous Landscape Impact Review system, the professional knowledge and experience of the stakeholders should be enhanced by education and training in the MLIR system over the short-term, while the effective functioning of the MLIR system should be reinforced by differentiation and connectivity of the MLIR system with similar institutions, and by emphasizing the uniqueness and properties of mountainous landscapes over the long-term.
Purpose: Well vascularized pectoralis major myocutaneous flap (PMMF) had been a commonly used versatile flap in reconstructive oromaxillofacial surgery since the 1970s. However, after the advent of microvascular surgery in the 1980s, the PMMF was used less frequently. But, to date, PMMF has been useful and has some advantages such as covering wide defects, covering vital structures, back-up procedure in cases of free flap failure, and reconstruction for radiotherapy patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the role, indication, complications, functional, and aesthetic results of this flap in the era of free flap with a literature and chart review. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted of 16 oral cancer patients undergoing reconstructive surgery with PMMF for reconstruction of defects from 2001 to 2012 at Kyungpook National University Hospital. The male to female ratio was 10:6, with a mean age of 63 years (16~79 years). Basic demographic data, previous treatment history, indications, dimension of the flap, site of reconstruction, postoperative complications, and patients' final status were systemically analyzed from chart review. Results: The pathology of the disease included squamous cell carcinoma in the majority of cases (n=14). The remaining cases were fibrosarcoma and mucoepidermoid carcinoma. Of the 16 PMMF reconstructions, 13 flaps were applied as primary reconstructive procedures, whereas three flaps were; salvage; procedures (vascularized free flap failure). Twelve patients had complications such as wound dehiscence, infection, hematoma, fistula, flap bulkiness, and partial flap necrosis. The higher complication rates showed an association with utilization of the flap in preoperative radiotherapy cases. However, all patients were discharged without failure. Conclusion: In reconstructive oromaxillofacial surgery, the PMMF is still a useful flap for huge defects. In addition, the PMMF can be used as a salvage procedure after vascularized free flap failure and reconstruction for patients with a history of preoperative radiotherapy.
