  • This paper classifies driving technologies for AMOLEDs by the driving TFT conditions in pixels. A saturation region operation type driving TFT circuit provides good stability of OLED because of constant current drive. However, complicated compensation circuits are necessary to avoid effect of the TFT characteristics deviation. On the other hand, a linear region operation type driving TFT circuit provides better uniformity of the display image and lower power consumption. However, the stability of OLED is critical because of constant voltage drive.

  • A new method of driving the PDP(Plasma Display Panel) was proposed and its characteristics were investigated. Applying high frequency non-discharge pulses to an auxiliary anode resulted an increased region of stable operation, decreased delay time and increased light intensity. It is suggested that PDP with DPM (Double Pulse Memory) drive technique improves the delay time, luminance, region of stable operation and luminous efficacy compared to PDP with PPM(Planar Pulse Memory) drive technique developed by NHK Lab. in Japan.

  • This paper proposed the method of removing baseline drift by eliminating local maxima such as P, R, T-wave signal region and local minima Q, S-wave signal region. We applied morphology-pair operations improved from morphology operation to the ECG signal. To eliminate overshoot in the result of morphology-pair operation, we apply median value operation to the result of morphology-pair operation. We use MIT/BIH database to estimate the proposed algorithm. Experiment result show that proposed algorithm removing baseline drift effectively without orignal ECG signal distortion.

  • This paper propose a extracting method of the region for image using segmentation and edge information. First propose algorithm extract information using canny edge detector and the image was divided by watershed segmentation. And it extract the mage with edge information by merging region. Finally we compare the proposed method with levelset method. In the result proposed method not only extract the image with accurate region but also reduce operation time.

  • This paper describes the method of detecting the region of vehicle number plate in colored car image with number plate. Vehicle number plate region generally shows formula colors in accordance with type of car. According to this, we use the method to combine a color ingredient H of HSI color model and a color ingredient Q of YIQ color model. However, the defect which a total operation time takes much exists if it uses such method. Therefore, in this paper, the concurrent accomplishes a candidate area extraction operation as draw a color H and Q ingredient among steps of extracting a region of vehicle number Plate. After the above step, as a next step in combination with color H and Q we can accomplish an region extraction fast by comparing to candidate regions extracted from each steps not to do a comparison operation to all of image pixel information. We also show implementation results Processed at each steps and compare with extraction time according to image resolutions.

  • Utilizing a structure of operations known as Dissection-Motion-Operations (DMO), a set of mathematics propositions or area-formulas in school mathematics will be introduced through shape-to-shape transforms. The underlying theme for DMO is problem-solving through visual reasoning and proving manipulatively or electronically vs. rote learning and memorization. Visual reasoning is the focus here where two operations that constitute DMO are utilized. One operation is known as Dissection (or Decomposition) operation that operates on a given region in 2D or 3D and dissects it into a number of subregions. The second operation is known as Motion (or Composition) operation applied on the resultant sub-regions to form a distinct area (or volume)-equivalent region. In 2D for example, DMO can transform a given polygon into a variety of new and distinct polygons each of which is area-equivalent to the original polygon (cf [Rahim, M. H. & Sawada, D. (1986). Revitalizing school geometry through Dissection-Motion Operations. Sch. Sci. Math. 86(3), 235-246] and [Rahim, M. H. & Sawada, D. (1990). • A numerical study on the transient vapor flow and heat transfer is performed to investigate the ideal switching operation of heat source in a high temperature heat pipe. The cylindrical 2-dimensional compressible laminar vapor flow is assumed for the vapor space and the conjugate heat transfer for the heat pipe wall, wick and vapor space is calculated. The different boundary conditions such as constant heat flux, convective or radiative boundary at the outer wall are used respectively to compare the influence of boundary conditions on the transient operation. The transient temperature profile and the internal flow of the entire pipe for the switching operation are described as a result. The results show that the transient time is not significantly affected by the boundary conditions at the outer wall in present study. During the transition, two independent flows are observed temporarily on the right side and left side of the heat pipe. It is also found that the trend of temperature variation in the vapor region is different from the variation in the wick and wall region.

  • The region trunk line railroad route undergoes an influence on a large scale in train operation systematic reorganization. This keynote of the train operation not being to the consumer and not to be is because being to the supplier. The trunk line route user of region supply change of the supplier sensitively, accepts but, the demand unit will be able to change the supply massive demanders does not become and like that to accept this back is not the railroad the mean of transportation which grudge is different a mean of transportation mainly makes use. This hits to neither the gist of GLORY promotions of the railroad public corporation which pursues the railroad use which is ordinary even in the basis of governmental policy of stock of coal small green growth and not to be is arranged. For the railroad use activation of the region trunk line route consequently and to excavate the demand hindrance element and a demand lure element the inside and the outside defines and to observe the fluctuation of use importing in existing train operation systematic fluctuation, with the user tries analyzes the instance of the overseas railroad enterprise about the process which reflects the opinion of the area and improvement under preparing boil.

  • Many building detection methods mainly rely on line segments extracted from aerial or satellite imagery. Building detection methods based on line segments, however, are difficult to succeed in high resolution satellite imagery such as IKONOS imagery, for most buildings in IKONOS imagery have small size of roofs with low contrast between roof and background. In this paper, we propose an efficient method to extract line segments and group them at the same time. First, edge preserving filtering is applied to the imagery to remove the noise. Second, we segment the imagery by watershed method, which collects the pixels with similar intensities to obtain homogeneous region. The boundaries of homogeneous region are not completely coincident with roof boundaries due to low contrast in the vicinity of the roof boundaries. Finally, to resolve this problem, we set up snake model with segmented region boundaries as initial snake's positions. We used a greedy algorithm to fit a snake to roof boundary. Experimental results show our method can obtain more .correct roof boundary with small size and low contrast from IKONOS imagery.
