All of the nuclear power plants in Korea we operating with analog instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment which are increasingly faced with frequent troubles, obsolescence and high maintenance expenses. Electrical and computer technology has improved rapidly in recent years and has been applied to other industries. So it is strongly recommended we adopt modern digital and computer technology to improve plant safety and availability. The advanced I&C system, namely, Integrated Intelligent Instrumentation and Control System (I$^3$CS) will be developed for beyond the next generation nuclear power plant. I$^3$CS consists of three major parts, the advanced compact workstation, distributed digital control and protection system including Automatic Start-up/shutdown Intelligent Control System (ASICS) and the computer-based alarm processing and operator support system, namely, Diagnosis, Response, and operator Aid Management System (DREAMS).

The most work-space invest much time and labor for optimal arrangement. The work-plates of the work-space should be arranged, processed and assembled under the restricted work space. The optimal arrangement under the terms of a restriction arrange the maximum work-plates in appointed work-space. It's the central aim. The work-plates arrangement scheduling of the most work-space are achieved through the experience of the planner. Like this, if the work-plates arrangement is worked by hand, there spend much time for the training planner. And the burden of the personnel expenses occur for using the master worker, also there are dangerous factors to be able to bring the bottleneck circumstance for the process planning, because the quick work planning does not accomplish. With such problems, the biggest problem is inferior the value of the plan. For solved the such problem of hand-operating, some work-spaces developed and used the work-plate arrangement scheduling system for the special quality of themselves. This paper make research into a plan to develop the work-plate arrangement scheduling system efficiently.

This study suggests an approach for determining fleet size for LTL (less -than-truckload) transportation with dynamic demand for on-time supply of the parts between the assembly line in an automobile company and its part suppliers in Korea. The vehicles operated by the transportation trucking companies in Korea in general can be classified into three types depending on the ways how their expenses occur; company -owned truck, mandated truck which is owned by outsider who entrusts the company with its operation, and rented truck (outsourcing) . With the forecasted monthly production data a year, a heuristic algorithm is developed to determine the number of company-owned trucks, mandated trucks, and rented trucks in order to minimize the expected annual operating cost, which is based on the solution technologies used in the aggregate production planning and vehicle routing problem. Finally the algorithm is tested for the problem how the trucking company transports parts for the automobile company.

Internet attack incidents have steadily increased along with the increase in Internet users. To protect systems and networks from these attacks, advanced security systems have been developed. Now that these security systems are operating, their successful management is more important than the purchase and establishment of new information security systems. The acquisition of good systems is ineffective and financially wasteful unless they are managed properly. Adequate management policy has recently become the focus of users. In other words, for companies and educational institutions with their domains, capital expenses are enormous to bear, and good security staffs are difficult to find, for which reasons outsourcing vendors or Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) that manage and operate the information security systems of certain domains become very appealing. Today, customers expect ISPs to perform MSSP services that used to be carried out by the security companies. This document presents the role and necessity of ISPs as MSSPs.

The terms of track is a train-only line for a train service, in premises of station of a station, that the unit over the track for turnout the track from one track to another track, which it changes the course from the main track that is used for operating a train to the side track, is called a turnout The stick strength of tongue rail is adjusting uniform pressure on the both sides, the adhesion strength between a basic rail and tongue rail has to maintain over 100kg of power value to open over 1mm the ends. This study suggested developing a measuring instrument that can measure a basic rail and the stick strength of a movable rail in according with a switch, such as a switch point, and a performance test. This study ties to be helped that it improves measuring usability for the maintainers through improving quality in a stick measuring instrument, that it solves a technique in the site difficulties through improving a measuring instrument, with reducing the obstacles and expenses.

Urban has been operating Korail and the local autonomous entity in Korea. Over 70 LRTs will be constructed in the future, but it is hard to manage them due to structural deficit from construction debt, so Public finance plays a very important role in order to overcome a deficit. The drum-buffer-rope(DBR) system is a finite scheduling mechanism that balances the flow of the production system. DBR controls the flow of materials through the plant in order to produce products in accordance with market demand, with a minimum of manufacturing lead time, inventory, and operating expenses. This paper integrates the best of MRP push system and JIT pull system with DBR system, efficiently adapts these logics to capacity constraint resources, and contributes to the evolution of synchronous manufacturing. The purpose of this paper is, thus, threefold. The first objective is to identify the frame of theory of constraints(TOC) and the logic of DBR scheduling. The second objective is to formulate the DBR constraint scheduling problems(DBRCSP) in a job shop environments. Finally, the paper is to suggest the solution procedure of DBRCSP for embedding TOC into MRP/JIT along with an numerical expression. In addition, illustrative numerical example is given.

For investment calculation of capital assets, it is desirable to grasp the limiting factors of its calculation. The limiting factors can be listed as follows; $\circled1$ difficulty in estimating the service life of capital assets. $\circled2$ difficulty in estimating the receipts, and operating and maintenance expenses of the project. $\circled3$ difficulty in determining common Minimum Attractive Rate of Return. $\circled4$ difficulty in estimating the salvage value of the assets. $\circled5$ some limiting factors on present worth calculation of the projects. $\circled6$ Some limiting factors on payout period method of the economic calculation.

This paper studies the risks associated with local finance in Korea by identifying the financial status of each local government, including the financial burdens of PPP projects, and examined governmental future burdens related to PPP projects. We reviewed all fiscal burdens associated with projects, such as, for BTL (Build-Transfer-Lease) types of projects, facility lease and operating expenses, and, for the BTO (Build-Transfer-Operate) types of projects, construction subsidies that are paid at the construction stage, MRG (Minimum Revenue Guarantee) payments and the government's share of payment. Furthermore, we compared the annual expenditures of local governments on PPP projects against their annual budgets and checked if the 2% ceiling rule could be applied.
