  • In this study, the improvement plan for the appropriate archives opening system in this country was proposed, by searching for the optimal operating method of opening system of archival institutions through the foreign instances related to the integrated type operation and the separate type operation. The opening system in the archival institutions shall be operated in consideration of the characteristics of the preserved archives and the various values and contexts rather than riding on the administrative logics.   • With the opening of a KTX on April 1st, 2004, Gwangmyung Station was opened. It is a station for KTX only. As it is not located at the center of a city, it doesn't have as good access mode system as Seoul, Deajun Station. In addition, because it is constructed within a limited development district, the development of catchment areas is not enough. At the beginning of the opening, demand falls short of their expectation so Importance of Access Mode System is issued. For the revitalization of Gwangmyung Station, Korea National Railroad focuses on the construction of Access Mode System such as the beginning of shuttle bus service between Kwan-ak and Gwangmyung station on June, 2005, opening of shuttle electric train between Yongsan and Gwangmyung station December, 2006, and the completion of parking tower in Gwangmyung station. After opening to Access Mode System, demand has been increasing. As market is changing, the railway line capacity between Seoul and Siheung reaches a limit, this research tries to review the way to setup sufficient Access Mode System.

  • A design system of dies for hot extrusion of structural shapes such as Z' s, L' s, T' s, U' s and H' s from aluminum alloys was developed in this study. The developed design system of dies is based of established die design rule system. The design rules for die design are obtained from the handbooks, plasticity theories and relevant references. The environment of the system is AutoCAD and AutoLISP, the graphic programming language was used for the configuration of the system. This system includes five major modules such as section shape design module, die opening number module. die opening layout module, die correction module and die bearing design module that are used to determine design variables. This system would be used to design of dies for hot extrusion from aluminum alloys and widely used in manufacturing course..

  • This paper object is application of electronic Customers Relationship Management(e-CRM) for buyer This paper focuses on the possibility of the adaption of Escrow system in Local L/C opening and payment. The purposes of this study are to obtain efficiency and stability of Local L/C and to provide opportunity to accept trust of the transaction parties. The results of the study show that Escrow system is recommended when Local L/C opened, because Escrow system has the following merits: (1) Open system of internet can be used to Local L/C process. (2) Transaction process of Escrow system is very simple. (3) One stop transaction can be applied to all the process of local L/C.

Dental hygienists' perspective and coping measures towards medical market opening (의료시장 개방에 대한 치과위생사의 인식과 대응방안)

  • Objectives : This research seeks to present the data needed for the development of coping strategy, following medical market opening by identifying dental hygienists' perspective and coping measures towards the opening. Methods : One hundred eighty-eight dental hygienists were targeted to identify their level of perception towards medical market opening, attitude towards medical market opening, question of whether they agree or not with the opening and reasons, and coping measures and benefits of the medical market opening. t-test, chi-square test and cross-tabulation analysis were used for the analysis Results : First, team leaders are more aware of the medical market opening and hold greater sense of crisis towards opening compared to the rank and file. Second, the reasons cited for agreeing with the medical market opening included improvement of medical services' quality and diversification of services. As for the reasons for disagreeing, they cited the increase medical expenses paid by public. Third, limitation of the hospital management technique was cited the most when it comes to the scope of Korean hospitals' management crisis, followed by the limitations of the diagnosis procedure, limitations of the medical services, limitations of the medical techniques and increase in the number of large hospitals, in the order cited. Fourth, team leaders perceive greater need to seek coping measures from the aspect of realizing medical insurance fee from the policy development, service and system level aspects when it comes to the coping measures depending on their ranks. Conclusions : Therefore, Dental Hygienist has a comparatively low awareness of medical market opening, coping measures need to be explored to cope with the medical market opening by ensuring the dissemination of accurate knowledge through the education on the fees for dental hygienist and seminars in relation to the medical market opening.

Study on the Analysis of Differential Pressure of the Access Door for a Smoke Control Zone and the Effectiveness of the Measurement Criteria of its Opening Force (제연구역 출입문의 차압 및 개방력 측정기준의 실효성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the problem in measuring the differential pressure between the fire area and the neighboring smoke control zone as well as the opening force of a fire door and to present the actual values measured by an objective method. NFSC 501A specifies that the force necessary to open an access door when operating a smoke control system shall be less than 110 N. When the smoke control system does not operate in the space where it is installed, the door opening force can be measured by the test method in KS F 2805. However, when the smoke control system operates, additional opening force is required to overcome the force generated by the differential pressure between the fire area and smoke control room. Therefore, it can be seen that the method proposed by the standard has insufficient reliability. The analog measuring device and digital measuring device showed that the opening forces, $F_a$ and $F_d$, of the fully closed door before the smoke control system were 27.8 N and 27.4 N, respectively. When the door remained open by $5^{\circ}$, the opening forces, $F_a$ and $F_d$, were 33 N and 33.6 N, respectively. When the smoke control system operated and the door was fully closed, the door opening forces, $F_a$ and $F_d$, were 77.6 N and 76.0 N, respectively. Therefore, since the door opening forces are different from the criteria presented by KS F 2805, it is required to review the criteria appropriately.

  • The leak-before-break behavior and the crack opening displacement were investigated of statically indeterminate piping system and statically determinate piping system after a crack penetration. The reduction in the ultimate strength caused by a crack was relatively small in the statically indeterminate piping system. The leak-before-break in the statically indeterminate piping system had a larger safety margin than that in the statically determinate piping system. The crack opening displacement after crack penetration in a pipe with a nonpenetrating crack was evaluated by using a plastic rotation angle.

  • This study analyzed the performance of smoke exhaustion installed to secure the life safety from the smoke each opening modes, as performing the simulation on the Jeju regions generating to strong windy using CONTAM. We assessed the effectiveness of the system under conditions of high external winds as well as an ambient wind conditions. It also assessed the relative effectiveness of opening all vents versus opening only those vents which served rooms in which the fire was located. This study revealed external winds exerted a substantial impact on the performance of the smoke ventilation system. It was found that opening the ventilation system in the room containing the fire resulted in a greater performance than opening vents in both fire in all rooms. The reduced performance of the smoke ventilation system upon the opening of all vents is thought to be due to the intrusion of outside air, and the establishment of unfavorable air circulation, caused by the negative pressure generated in the building.

  • Swing check valve is opened when the flow direction is forward, when the flow is reversed, the valve is automatically closed by back pressure. In this study, the internal flow field analysis of the valve was conducted by Fluent. The working fluid used in the study, using liquefied methane $-165^{\circ}C$ (CH4) and velocity field, pressure field, pressure drop coefficient were simulated by varying separately the opening divergence into four intervals from 0 to 100%. The approximate research result are as follow : When the opening divergence is smaller, it appears high pressure on the upstream side, this value is relaxed when the opening divergence is large. Flow rate coefficient of the valve shows a larger value as the degree of opening becomes larger, confirming that the check valve used in the study is in the effective flow rate counting range.

  • In this paper we propose a new visual servoing method for door opening with mobile manipulator. We use an eye-to-hand system that stereo camera is mounted on mobile platform, and adopt the position-based method. The previous methods for door opening mostly used eye-in-hand system with mono camera and required predefined knowledge such as radius and position about door grip, which was mainly caused by using mono cam era. This is also a severe constraint for pursuing general-purpose algorithm for door opening.
