일 실업 고등학교 학생들의 건강개념과 건강행위에 대한 조사 연구 (A Study on Health Concepts and Health Behavior in Vocational High School Studnts)

  • Health has occupied a position of importance in the human history, whether it be in the East or in the West, and it is a subject in which people have been constantly interested. The concept of health has changed continuously as the society has developed, industrialized and become more structured. The perception of health concept can be an esential factor which is to determine the health behaviors. This study is a descriptive inquiry done to identity high school students' perception of health and what they do as health behaviors. The subject consisted of 503 voctional high school seniors, 129 boys and 374 girls, from a school located in An-san Si, kyong-gi Do. The instruments used for this study were open-ended questionnaires and data were collected by having the students fill out the questionnaires which took 10 minutes, in their first class, April 6, 1995. The collected materials were classified and recorded on the cards according to each question using the terms which students had written. After putting statements which had common meanings together, the representative categories were labelled. The results obtained are as follows. 1. Categorizing and labelling of health concepts What high school students descripted as health concepts were classified as the absence of illness, physical comfort, strong physical strength and physique, not having a deformity, resisting power, self control mental-rest(or psychological comfort), wholesome ideas, self-control, harmony in body and in mind, maintenace of daily life, pleasant life, good friends, peaceful family life and realizing objectives. 2. Categorizing and labelling of health behaviors These were classified as preventive life, good dietary habits and regimen, maintenance of clean body, exercises, preventing obesity, rest, environmental balance or control of environment, limit one's tastes, making use of leisure, peaceful mind, sound thought and regular living habits. The result indicates that the health concepts were positive and included not only absence of illness but also harmony in body and in mind and pleasant life; health behaviors which had high frequency were good dietary habits and regimen, exercises and sound thought. It is hoped that these findings well serve as practical references for teachers when they counsel with, and provide the students with guidance programs which include health care.

곡면상에 설치된 열린 공동을 지나는 천음속/초음속 유동에 관한 연구 (I) - 정상 유동의 특성 - (Investigation of Transonic and Supersonic Flows over an Open Cavity Mounted on Curved Wall (I) - Steady Flow Characteristics -)

  • 공동유동은 종래 많은 연구가 수행되었으나 대부분의 연구는 공동 상류의 압력구배가 없는 수평면 상에 위치한 공동 유동에 대한 연구가 수행되어 왔으며, 실제 공학적 응용에서 나타나는 곡면 벽상에 위치한 공동 유동에 대한 연구는 거의 수행되지 않고 있다. 일반적으로 곡면 벽상에 위치한 공동유동에는 원심력이 작용하여 종래의 공동 유동 연구결과와 상이한 유동특성을 가질 것으로 판단되나, 이러한 데이터는 지금까지 보고되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 곡면 벽상에 설치한 공동 유동을 수치해석법으로 조사하여 곡면의 곡률반경 및 유동의 마하수가 천음속 및 초음속 공동유동의 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 곡면의 곡률반경이 작아질수록, 유동의 마하수가 증가할수록, 공동내부에서 발생하는 피크압력의 크기는 증가하였으며 공동으로 인한 전압력손실 증가한다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 현대건축에서 창조적인 공간화로 요약될 수 있는 새로운 개념에 대한 해명을 목표로 한다. 고전적 바로크 개념의 기능가치를 기반으로 하여 본 연구는 현대 건축가인 프랭크 게리에 의해 시도된 주름과 비틀기 건축을 분석함으로써, '바로크적인 것'의 현재적인 의미를 드러내고자 한다. 새로이 정의된 '바로크적인 것'은 가장 경험적인 것이라는 의미에서 실재적인 것으로 인식되어야 하며 또한 분산적인 특징을 지니는 변형적이고 탄력적인 이미지들의 사슬 속에서 작용한다. 게리의 신 바로크 건축의 전형적인 도구는 공간을 에워싸고 주름잡는 것이다. 이 같은 건축이념은 들뢰즈의 철학적인 바로크 개념에 맞닿아 있다. 들뢰즈의 바로크 개념은 주름들 간의 긴장관계를 의미하는 것으로, 공간의 변화는 이러한 긴장관계의 수축과 확장에 의존해있는 것이다. 힘의 자유로운 분산이라는 신 바로크 개념의 일반원리를 통해 건축가에게는 실재세계를 현실적인 삶과 가장 밀접하게 만들 가능성이 제공되며, 향유자와 관찰자에게는 자기 내부와 자기 주위에서 작용하는 생동적인 힘을 감지할 가능성이 부여되는 것이다.

Efficacy of Single-Dose Antimicrobial Prophylaxis for Preventing Surgical Site Infection in Radical Gastrectomy for Gastric Carcin

  • Purpose: Information regarding antimicrobial prophylaxis (AMP) for gastric cancer surgery is limited. The present study investigated the efficacy of single-dose AMP for the prevention of surgical site infection (SSI) in patients undergoing gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma. Materials and Methods: Between 2011 and 2013, 1,330 gastric carcinoma surgery patients were divided into two AMP administration groups depending on the duration of treatment. Postoperative outcomes including morbidity and SSI were compared between the two groups overall and in matched patients. Risk factors for SSI were analyzed. Results: The extended group (n=1,129) received AMP until postoperative day 1 and the single-dose group (n=201) received single-dose AMP only during an operation. Postoperatively, there were no significant differences between the two groups with respect to overall morbidity, mortality, or length of hospital stay. The SSI rate of the single-dose group was not significantly different from that of the extended group overall (4.5% vs. 5.5%, respectively, P=0.556) or in matched patients (4.5% vs. 4.0%, respectively, P=0.801). There was no increase in the SSI rate of the single-dose group compared to the extended group in subgroups based on different clinicopathological and operative factors. Univariate and multivariate analyses revealed male gender, open surgery, and operating time (${\geq}180$ minutes) as independent risk factors for SSI. Conclusions: Single-dose AMP showed no increase in the postoperative SSI rate compared to postoperative extended use in patients undergoing gastrectomy for gastric carcinoma. The efficacy of single-dose AMP requires further investigation in randomized clinical trials specific to gastric cancer surgery.

특별피난계단 부속실 제연설비의 방연풍속 기류특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Features of Air Egress Velocity in Vestibule Pressurization System)

  • 본 연구는 국내 고층건물 특별피난계단의 부속실에 설치되는 급기가압 제연시스템의 방연 풍속 기류 가화재 발생 시 피난을 위하여 출입문이 개방되었을 경우 거실 방향으로 정상적으로 형성되지 않고 부속실 내부로 역류되는 현상을 개선하기위해 실 모형실험을 통해 출입구 상부로 역류하지 않는 조건을 개발하였다. 부속실 바닥 면적이 $2m^2$$4m^2$인 두개의 실물 모형을 제작하여 실험을 실시한 결과, 방연풍속의 기류 특성은 바닥 면적이 $2m^2$인 경우 심하게 출입문 상부로 기류가 역류되었다. 다만, 급기댐퍼의 설치위치가 출입문 맞은편의 경우 날개각도가 45도 상향인 경우는 출입문 상부로는 역 기류 현상은 없었지만 하부로는 일부 역류 되었다. 부속실 면적이 $4m^2$ 인 경우는 출입문에서 거실방향으로 정상적인 기류 분포를 보였다. 부속실 바닥 면적이 작게 설계될 경우에는 성능위주 설계가 될 수 있도록 하여야 한다.

낙상 보호 팬츠개발을 위한 충격흡수 소재특성 평가 (Characteristic Evaluation of Impact Absorption Materials for the Development of Fall Impact Protective Pants)

  • This study explores and selects an appropriate material that considers light and soft physical properties as well as activity for impact absorption pads that can be used to develop practical impact protective clothes worn during daily life by the elderly to reduce the impact of falls. Physical properties, impact absorption performance, and compression characteristics were evaluated on 5 types of foam, 2 types of 3D spacer fabric, and 3 types of polymer gel to select a material appropriate for the pad to be inserted into impact protective clothes. The evaluation of the physical properties showed that 3D spacer fabrics had lower density compared to other materials and polymer gels had the highest density. The elongation percentage was higher in foams than 3D spacer fabrics and EPDM foam had the highest elongation percentage. The impact absorption performance of honeycomb polymer gel was better than foams and 3D spacer fabrics. As a result of looking into compression energy and compression characteristics of materials, 'CR foam A' was found to absorb the largest amount of compression energy, 24.1%, among foams and polymer gels. A high energy absorption rate of 50.0% (or above) was indicated by 3D spacer fabrics; however, foams and polymer gels showed a progressive deformation of energy compression / recovery curve with 3D spacer fabrics that showed drastic deformation. Based on characteristics of materials, 'CR foam C' and EPDM with relatively high absorption performance can be used as protective pad materials among foams. Among polymer gels, 2 open-type polymer gels that have relatively low impact protective performance but a relatively lighter weight on human body (compared to closed-type) are considered appropriate protective pad materials.

척추 수술 환자를 위한 환자복 개발에 관한 연구 - 여성 환자들을 중심으로 - (A Study on Developing a Patient Gown for Spinal Surgery Patients - Focusing on Female Patients -)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop comfortable patient gown for spinal surgery patients. The results of the survey confirmed inconveniences and problems with the current gown, and a new gown style was recommended. The recommended changes addressed design, pattern, and materials. The final experimental design for the top of the new patient gown is a wrap style that moves the center opening of the gown to the side and enables patients to control the length of the sleeves by attaching two snaps. The cutting line is aligned with the back brace location, and the issue of repeated bunching of the gown material by the brace was solved by substituting 100% knitted structure fiber. The sleeve length can be adjusted with snaps on the sleeve cap and hem. When lifting up the gown for treatment on specific areas of the body, doctors open the edge of the right side of the gown in order to lift up the top. The bottom of the new patient gown was made from 100% cotton knitted structure fiber, and it enables patients to control the length of pants by attaching two snaps on the side. The results of an on-site dressing suitability evaluation and a flexibility evaluation with respect to dressing/undressing indicated that the new patient gown was much better received than the existing gowns (A and B). Our hypothesis regarding new patient gowns was supported in both the fit and design categories.

Performance Comparison of CuPc, Tetracene, Pentacene-based Photovoltaic Cells with PIN Structures

  • The fabricated photovoltaic cells based on PIN heterojunctions, in this study, have a structure of ITO/poly(3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)/donor/donor:C60(10nm)/C60(35nm)/2, 9-dimethyl-4, 7-diphenyl-1, 10-phenanthroline(8nm)/Al(100nm). The thicknesses of an active layer(donor:C60), an electron transport layer(C60), and hole/exciton blocking layer(BCP) were fixed in the organic photovoltaic cells. We investigated the performance characteristics of the PIN organic photovoltaic cells with copper phthalocyanine(CuPc), tetracene and pentacene as a hole transport layer. Discussion on the photovoltaic cells with CuPc, tetracene and pentacene as a hole transport layer is focussed on the dependency of the power conversion efficiency on the deposition rate and thickness of hole transport layer. The device performance characteristics are elucidated from open-circuit-voltage(Voc), short-circuit-current(Jsc), fill factor(FF), and power conversion efficiency($\eta$). As the deposition rate of donor is reduced, the power conversion efficiency is enhanced by increased short-circuit-current(Jsc). The CuPc-based PIN photovoltaic cell has the limited dependency of power conversion efficiency on the thickness of hole transport layer because of relatively short exciton diffusion length. The photovoltaic cell using tetracene as a hole transport layer, which has relatively long diffusion length, has low efficiency. The maximum power conversion efficiencies of CuPc, tetracene, and pentacene-based photovoltaic cells with optimized deposition rate and thickness of hole transport layer have been achieved to 1.63%, 1.33% and 2.15%, respectively. The photovoltaic cell using pentacene as a hole transport layer showed the highest efficiency because of dramatically enhanced Jsc due to long diffusion length and strong thickness dependence.

AHP분석을 통한 공공공간의 공공성 제고방안 (Publicness of Public Space through the Analysis of AHP Enhancing)

  • 본 연구는 공공공간의 물리적 측면, 사용자 측면, 맥락적인 측면에서 공공성 제고를 위하여 반드시 고려되어야 하는 계획항목 및 지표들을 도출하고 공무원과 실무자측면에서 그 중요도를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 공공공간별 계획항목 및 지표들을 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 통하여 도출하고, 전문가 설문을 통한 계층적 의사결정법(AHP:Analytic Hierachy Process)을 실시하여 중요도를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 공공공간의 우선순위는 공원으로 나타났으며 계획지표의 경우 공개공지, 공공보행통로, 공공공지, 공공시설부지, 공원은 위치 인지성이 가장 중요하고, 도로의 경우 대중교통수단연계가 가장 중요한 것으로 도출되었다. 이는 공공성 제고를 위해서는 공공공간은 접근이 용이하고 위치에 대한 인지성을 고려하여 계획해야 됨을 시사하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 향후 사적 공공공간의 공공성 제고 관련 정책 수립에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
