본 연구는 Figshare를 통해 공유되고 있는 문헌정보학분야 연구데이터의 유형, 주제, 공개 수준 등을 분석하고 재사용성이 상대적으로 높은 데이터의 특성을 통계적으로 해석해 보았다. 분석 결과 데이터의 유형은 dataset과 paper 유형이, 주제 분야는 open access와 research data가 가장 많은 비중을 차지하였으며, 70%에 가까운 연구데이터가 pdf와 같이 편집과 재사용이 원활하지 않은 형태로 공개되어 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 연구데이터의 특성과 활용 정도간의 관계 분석 결과, 주제에 있어서는 APC(Article Processing Charge)를 비롯한 open access 영역이 가장 많이 활용되고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 데이터 유형에 있어서는 paper의 활용도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.

최근 각국은 정부 데이터 개방을 위한 데이터 플랫폼을 구축하고, 행정정보데이터세트 등 다양한 데이터를 민간에서 웹을 통해 자유롭게 활용하도록 하고 있다. 이 연구는 전 세계적으로 가장 많이 활용되는 대표적인 오픈 데이터 플랫폼인 소크라타와 CKAN의 기능을 분석하고, 각국의 활용 사례를 살펴보았다. 그리고 서울시의 데이터세트 서비스 현황을 사례로 검토하여, 오픈 데이터 플랫폼을 적용한 지방자치단체의 데이터세트 관리 및 서비스 방안을 개념적으로 제시하였다. 이를 통해 기록으로서의 데이터세트 서비스 제공을 위한 지방자치단체의 장기적인 보존과 관리체제 방안을 제도적 측면과 데이터의 생산 및 관리 측면, 서비스 측면 및 플랫폼의 선택 등 다양한 측면에서 제시하였다.

최근 들어 공간 데이타베이스 시스템에 저장되어 있는 공간 데이타로부터 새로운 지식을 자동으로 추출해야 할 필요성이 증가함에 따라 공간 데이타베이스 시스템에 명시적으로 저장되어 있지 않은 암시적인 지식이나 공간 데이타간의 연관 관계, 그리고 다른 새로운 지식을 추출해 내는 학문인 공간 데이타 마이닝에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 유용한 지식을 공간 데이타로부터 추출하기 위해서는 공간 데이타를 효율적으로 저장하고, 빠른 인덱스와 검색 기능을 제공하고, 또한 분산환경을 지원할 수 있는 객체 관리 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 공간 데이타 마이닝 시스템에서 사용되는 공간, 비공간, 지식 데이타를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 개방형 객체 관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 개방형 객체 관리 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 현재 많은 분야에서 사용되고 있는 Open OODB에 공간 데이타 타입의 지원, 동적인 클래스의 생성 객체-지향 개념의 상속성 지원, 공간 인덱스의 지윈, 공간 연산 함수 제공 등의 기능을 추가하여 확장하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 다른 공간 데이타베이스 시스템이나 공간 데이타 마이닝 시스템과의 상호운영성을 증가시키기 위하여 데이타 모델링을 위해 ODMG 2.0, 데이타 모델링과 공간 데이타의 교환을 위해 SDTS(Spatial Data Transfer Standard), 그리고 클라이언트와 서버간의 효율적 연동을 위해 OpenGIS Simple Features Specification for CORBA를 수용하였다.

Purpose: This paper has examined the impact of open innovation business model in technology commercialization with the data from 30 companies of manufacturing firms in South Korea. Methods: The findings provide support for distinguishing five hypotheses relating to development time, IP management, sales, firm size and R&D intensity. To test the hypotheses, data were collected using via e-mail and fax. Small and medium-sized (less than 300 employees) and large industrial firms were chosen for this study. Results: The result shows that openness in its business model is positively associated with successful technology commercialization. Conclusion: The major findings and the implications are: First, as the business model gets more open, development period of technology will be more favorable which gets benefit from rising costs of innovation. Second, as the business model gets more open, large portion of sales are created from new products. Thus, the problem of shorter product life in the market which affects large portion of market revenue can be solved through an open business model. Third, in general, R&D intensity, firm size and the level of IP management affect determination of business model types. The findings also suggest that companies need to increasingly address their external technology exploitation process instead of focusing on their internal innovation processes.

공공연구 성과물(출판물 및 데이터)을 디지털 포맷으로 공개하여 이들 자료에 대한 접근성을 높이고자하는 오픈 사이언스 프로젝트가 국외에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 해외에서는 오픈 사이언스의 주요 특징인 공개 연구, 오픈 액세스, 연구데이터 공유, 공개적인 동료 평가, 투명한 연구 성과 평가에 맞추어 연구자 중심의 다양한 연구지원 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외의 과학기술정보 서비스에 대해 심층 분석하고 국내 활용현황을 조사하였다. 국외의 적극적인 오픈 사이언스 대응현황에 비해 국내에서는 오픈 액세스나 기관 리포지터리 정도만 준비가 되어 있고, 연구데이터 관리나 협력 연구에 대해서는 아직까지 준비가 미비한 상태로 분석되었다. 따라서 국내 정보서비스 기관에서도 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외 우수 사례들을 충분히 고찰하여 이를 효과적으로 실행할 수 있는 연구지원 서비스 정책과 가이드라인 마련이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

Urban Informatics, the application of data science methodologies to the urban development and planning domain, has been increasingly adopted to improve the management and efficiency of cities. This paper introduces state of the art use cases in major cities including New York, London, Seoul and Amsterdam. It also introduces recent advances in using Big Data by multi-lateral institutions for poverty reduction, and startups utilizing open data initiatives to create new value and insights. Preliminary research performed on using Seoul's open data such as building permit data and health code violations are also introduced to demonstrate opportunities in this relatively new but promising area of research.

On this research we investigated variables affecting university students' time management and verify relationship between the time management and life satisfaction. 438 students at Korea National Open University in Seoul were questioned through questionnaires composed of 47 questions. Data was analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and Person's correlation. The variables affecting time management were religion(those who believe in organized religion vs. those who do not), individual income, family income, teaming experiences for time management and reading books related to time management. fender, age, marriage status and occupation didn't affect the time management of students. The relationships between time management and life satisfaction showed a little positive relation. Some proposals for future researches and practices are given.

Data-driven markets depend on access to data as a resource for products and services. Since the quality of information that can be drawn from data increases with the available amount and quality of the data, businesses involved in the data economy have a great interest in accessing data from other market players and sharing data with other stakeholders. Despite the growing need for access to data and evidence of the economic and social benefits, data access and sharing remains below its potential. Individuals, businesses, and governments often face barriers to data access, which may be compounded by the reluctance to share, including within and across sectors. To address these challenges, this paper focuses on finding possible solutions for a better data-sharing economy. This paper 1) Discusses opportunities and challenges of open data and the data-sharing economy, limitations of private sector data, and issues with open government data. 2) Introduces open government data initiatives and open governance networks initiatives. 3) Suggests possible solutions, including the governance and management, the legal and policy frameworks, and the technical standards for open data with proposing an open data governance model for the data-sharing economy.

This study is carried out to understand application type and change of learning space and to find out actual situation of management in open planned elementary schools. The twelve elementary schools were selected based on case studies and fundamental data of the agencies performing basic plan, the actual situation of management was studied by interviews of principals and teachers. By the results, open planned elementary schools have been notably reduced after the year of 2004 and corridor expending type was broadly chosen as a plane type for open space. It was also shown that learning space was transformed to the independent type integrating open space to the unit classroom in most part of twelve cases. In addition, whole sliding doors fixed in open classrooms by some Provincial Office of Education didn't need certain physical shut-offs, and it was considered as one of useful alternatives to manage open space.

2013년 정부 3.0 추진에 따른 공공데이터 개방으로 많은 관련 웹사이트들이 생겨나게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 과거의 선행연구자료 및 국내 웹사이트의 현황을 조사 정리하여, 국내 공공데이터의 개방현황 및 활용사례를 분석함으로써 공공데이터 개방의 중요성을 시사하고자 하였다. 개방현황과 관련된 웹사이트는 서울 열린 데이터 광장, 공공데이터 포털을 비롯하여 전북 3.0 포털, 경상북도 공공데이터포털시스템, 강원 공공데이터를 조사 분석하였다. 국내 활용사례는 공공데이터 활용사례집을 참고하였고, 해외사례는 해외 웹사이트인 '질로우닷컴'과 'SAFECAST'를 참고하여 조사 분석하였다.
